Abstract

Given the contours of the island of Borneo are numerous plateaus, allowing roads to be constructed in mountainous areas or hilly, it can be seen on the streets shaft North Kalimantan namely Tanjung Selor – Tana Tidung road on the path Tanjung Selor – Tana Tidung road there is a level of steepness high whitout made retaining wall can be causing landslides that could be dangerous for road users and surrounding residents. This can occur as a result of soil instability especially when coupled with high rainfall, It is necessary to retaining that handy to withstand the preassures in the soil so that the soil does not move and headed towards the bottom. With the development of science, the more ways you can use to avoid or rectify the land / area avalanche of one of them by making a retaining wall.

Abstract

Bangunan gedung negara sebagai salah satu aset negara yang mempunyai nilai strategis sebagai tempat penyelenggaraan negara perlu memperhatikan pengelolaan dan pemeliharaan bangunan pasca konstruksi sebagai bagian terpenting di dalam penyelenggaraan bangunan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan suatu penilaian indeks kerusakan pada Bangunan Gedung dan menentukan urutan prioritas penanganan pemeliharaan bangunan yang mengalami kerusakan dengan penerapan prosedur Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP), sekaligus menghitung Rencana Anggaran Biaya (RAB). Dari hasil penilaian kondisi fisik Gedung Kantor Kelurahan Karang Rejo Kota Tarakan, terlihat bahwa kondisi kerusakan yang terjadi pada bangunan dengan skala kerusakan 11,5 masih dinyatakan baik hanya terjadi kerusakan kecil yang tidak mengurangi nilai keamanan gedung meskipun sudah ada kerusakan yang terjadi. Dari hasil perhitungan prioritas dalam pemeliharan bangunan dengan menggabungkan hasil dari 5 responden terhadap semua kriteria Indeks Kondisi, Biaya, dan Umur Layan Komponen diperoleh urutan prioritas yakni elemen cat dinding menjadi prioritas yang utama dengan nilai bobot 21,2%, kemudian Plafon Gypsum menjadi prioritas ke-2 dengan nilai bobot 19,7%, Plafon Tripleks menjadi prioritas ke-3 dengan nilai bobot 15,4%, daun pintu menjadi prioritas ke-4 dengan nilai bobot 15,4%, kemudian pintu kaca, listplafon, kunci tanam, handle pintu, dan lampu  menjadi prioritas ke-5, ke-6, ke-7, ke-8, ke-9, dengan masing-masing bobot 12,9%, 6%, 3,4%, 3%, dan 3%. Dalam penanganan pemeliharaan bangunan gedung Kantor Kelurahan Karang Rejo  diperlukan biaya untuk memperbaiki kerusakan yang telah terjadi dalam kurun waktu 4 tahun adalah sebesar Rp. 9.277.703,00. (Sembilan Juta Dua Ratus Tujuh Puluh Tujuh Ribu Tuju Ratus Tiga Rupiah).

Abstract

In construction problem soils are often encountered, as well as in the border area of North Kalimantan Province, there are problematic soils such as peat soil and expansive soil. Problematic soils have low bearing capacity and high compressibility, therefore it is necessary to make improvements in problematic soils. One of the soil improvements whose application is quite easy and relatively inexpensive to implement is stabilization. This research uses coal waste material (fly ash) as a stabilizer from PLTU Sekayan in Apung village, Kaltara Province. The purpose of this study was to obtain changes in the CBR parameters on peat soil and expansive soil by mixing fly ash with variations in the addition of fly ash by 20%, 40%, and 60%, and through curing for 20, 30, 40, and 60 days. The analysis is presented in graphical form by comparing the original soil that has not been stabilized and the soil that has been stabilized with fly ash. From this research, it was found that the addition of a stabilizing agent in the form of fly ash can increase the CBR value in problematic soils. In the expansive soil CBR test in the laboratory, there was a very large increase in the CBR value, namely from the initial condition of 2,65% to 33.7% with the addition of 60% fly ash and a curing period of 60 days. On peat soil, the initial CBR value was 0,79% to 9.8% with the addition of 60% fly ash and a curing period of 60 days.

Abstract

The foundation is the structure of the lower part of a building that is directly related to the ground or part of the building that is located below the ground surface which has the function of bearing the load of other parts of the building above it. There are various kinds of dynamic bearing capacity of the pile foundation, one of which is used with dynamic field test results, namely the PDA Test. The purpose of this research is to determine the carrying capacity of piles using PDA Test data then the results of the analysis will be compared with the results of calculations with Plaxis 2D V.8. The results of the calculation of the bearing capacity of the pile using PDA Test data obtained the largest value, namely 103 tons and the results of the carrying capacity using the Bagemann method obtained the value of 149.51 tons. The calculation of the pile settlement in the CAPWAP data is 12.97 mm at the P 113 pile and the calculation result of the maximum settlement of the pile in the Plaxis calculation is 3.50 mm the estimated single pile settlement meets the safe/permitted requirements.
