Abstract

This research is a qualitative study that aims to analyze the application of virtual leadership to boarding schools in Indonesia in an effort to maintain a quality culture in the new normality of the Covid-19 pandemic. This study is a literature study that analyzes sources from previous studies on virtual leadership and its relationship to the Covid-19 pandemic. The method of data collection is done in several stages, namely sorting, organizing, and editing. After the data in the form of the documents in question collected then done data analysis by providing interpretation. The results of this study is divided into several section that include: 1) effective leadership in the period and post-Covid-19 pandemic, 2) kyai and its potential to lead a virtual environment, 3) the state and quality of boarding schools after the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Baayun Maulid menurut kepercayaan sebagian masyarakat adalah seremonial yang dilangsungkan dengan maksud mencegah gejala kapingitan (kesurupan). Upacara baayun merupakan budaya lokal peninggalan nenek moyang masyarakat Banjar yang telah ada sejak dulu dan masih diselenggarakan hingga sekarang. Budaya ini bermula dari pelaksanaan upacara Maupun Anak masyarakat Dayak Kalimantan yang diwariskan turun-temurun kepada para tutus (keturunan) orang-orang Dayak Banjar. Baayun Maulid memuat nilai-nilai positif yang penting untuk diaplikasikan dan dikenalkan pada generasi muda yang akan melanjutkan tongkat estafet pembangunan bangsa yang berbudaya. Penelitian ini menempuh langkah-langkah heuristik, kritik sumber, thick description, interpretasi dengan pendekatan sosiologis, antropologis dan historis menggunakan analisis etnografi yang bertujuan untuk mengamati dan menafsirkan secara mendalam sejarah pelaksanaan Baayun Maulid serta menganalisis secara kritis nilai-nilai sosiologis yang terkandung dalam suatu fenomena budaya baayun yang ada pada masyarakat Banjar dan merespons isu-isu sosial dalam budaya Baayun Maulid yang membawa dampak terhadap religiusitas masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat interaksi sosial dalam masyarakat dan kaitannya dengan nilai-nilai kearifan lokal yang tercermin dalam budaya Baayun Maulid masyarakat Banjar yang heterogen dari aspek suku, agama dan sosial. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa budaya merupakan potensi sosial yang dapat membentuk citra dan karakter atau identitas peradaban masyarakat. Nilai-nilai dalam budaya Baayun Maulid mengandung banyak kearifan lokal yang relevan dengan kondisi sekarang sehingga harus dilestarikan dan dikembangkan menyesuaikan dengan perkembangan zaman tanpa mengesampingkan aspek lokalitas budaya yang ada sehingga generasi muda lebih mengenal identitas dan jati diri. Generasi muda patut bangga dan mencintai kebudayaan lokal sebagai perbendaharaan kekayaan Indonesia.Kata Kunci: Budaya Baayun Baulid, kearifan lokal, nilai-nilai sosial.Baayun Maulid according to the belief of some people is ceremonial which is held with the intention of preventing kapingitan (possession). Baayun ceremony is a local culture relics of the ancestors of the Banjar people that have existed since long ago and are still held today. This culture began from the implementation of the Ceremony of Maayun Anak Dayak Kalimantan community which was passed down through generations to the tutus (descendants) of the Dayak Banjar people. Baayun Maulid contains positive values that are important to be applied and introduced to the younger generation who will continue the baton of cultured nation-building. This research takes heuristic steps, source criticism, thick description, interpretation with sociological, anthropological and historical approaches using ethnographic analysis that aims to observe and interpret in depth the history of the implementation of Baayun Maulid and critically analyze the sociological values contained in a phenomenon of baayun culture that exists in Banjar society and respond to social issues in Baayun Maulid culture that has an impact on the religiosity of society. This research aims to look at social interactions in society and their relation to the values of local wisdom reflected in the heterogeneous Baayun Maulid culture of Banjar society from tribal, religious, and social aspects. This research shows that culture is a social potential that can shape the image and character or identity of civilization of society. The values in Baayun Maulid culture contain a lot of local wisdom that is relevant to the present conditions so that it must be preserved and developed in accordance with the times without ruling out aspects of the locality of existing culture so that the younger generation is more familiar with identity and true selves. The younger generation should be proud and love the local culture as a treasury of Indonesia's wealth.Keywords: Baayun Maulid culture, local wisdom, social values.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe the people of Banjar South Kalimantan who have a variety of cultures that still have a strong emotional connection with the old culture left by their ancestors. Beliefs that are deeply rooted in the community make some rituals in culture mandatory to be carried out under customary law. The influence of old beliefs gave its color to the culture of the Banjar people who later acculturated and collaborated with Islam. The steps taken in data collection in this study include sorting, organizing, and editing. After all the desired data is collected, data analysis is carried out with interpretation. The results of this study show that Islamic teachings are very in line with the diversity that exists in society. The religious character of Islam gives a new color to the old culture of society which contains values that are important to be applied to all lines of social life. The number of foreign cultures that tend to damage can more or less be countered by strengthening religious character through the culture that exists and develops in the community as in the birth culture of the Banjar people of South Kalimantan.Keywords: Religious character, birth culture, Banjar people.           Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kehidupan masyarakat Banjar Kalimantan Selatan yang memiliki beragam kebudayaan yang masih memiliki hubungan emosional yang kuat dengan kebudayaan lama peninggalan nenek moyang. Keyakinan yang mengakar kuat dalam diri masyarakat membuat beberapa ritual dalam kebudayaan menjadi wajib dilaksanakan secara hukum adat. Pengaruh keyakinan lama memberikan warna tersendiri pada kebudayaan masyarakat Banjar yang kemudian berakulturasi dan berakomodasi dengan Islam. Langkah-langkah yang ditempuh dalam pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini meliputi penyortiran, pengorganisasian, dan penyuntingan. Selanjutnya setelah semua data yang dikehendaki terkumpul dilakukan analisis data dengan interpretasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ajaran Islam sangat berkesesuaian dengan keberagaman yang ada di masyarakat. Karakter religius Islam memberikan warna baru terhadap kebudayaan lama masyarakat yang di dalamnya mengandung nilai-nilai yang penting untuk diaplikasikan pada seluruh lini kehidupan bermasyarakat. Banyaknya budaya asing yang cenderung merusak sedikit banyak dapat ditangkis dengan penguatan karakter religius melalui budaya yang ada dan berkembang di masyarakat seperti dalam budaya kelahiran pada masyarakat Banjar Kalimantan Selatan. Kata Kunci: Karakter religius, budaya kelahiran, masyarakat Banjar.

Abstract

Abstract: The family is the main foundation for cultivating and strengthening educational values. The best education can be realized through a family built on the principles of the Koran. The rapid pace of modern currents has more or less threatened the world of education and resulted in the erosion of the morale of the nation's generation. The busyness of working parents which often leads to forgetting essential responsibilities is fatal to the child's life in the future. This research is field research. Data collection is carried out by observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study show that each parent has different strategies and steps in educating their children. However, parents have the same goal of realizing the best education for their children. From this research, various educational habits will be seen instilled by parents who work as teachers so that they can realize the best education for children's lives in society even though faced with various busy schedules, and time with children which tends to be limited.Keywords: Islamic Family Education; Parents are teachers by profession, children's social behavior.Abstrak: Keluarga merupakan pondasi utama dalam penanaman dan penguatan nilai-nilai pendidikan. Pendidikan terbaik dapat terwujud melalui keluarga yang dibangun atas prinsip Alquran. Pesatnya arus modern sedikit banyak telah mengancam dunia pendidikan dan berakibat pada tergerusnya moral generasi bangsa. Kesibukan orang tua bekerja yang seringkali menyebabkan lupa dengan tanggung jawab hakiki berakibat fatal terhadap kehidupan anak di masa mendatang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian lapangan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan obsevasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa setiap orang tua memiliki strategi dan langkah yang berbeda dalam mendidik anak-anaknya. Akan tetapi, pada dasarnya orang tua memiliki tujuan yang sama demi mewujudkan pendidikan terbaik bagi anak-anaknya. Dari penelitian ini akan dilihat berbagai kebiasaan edukatif yang ditanamkan orang tua yang berprofesi sebagai guru sehingga dapat mewujudkan pendidikan terbaik untuk kehidupan anak di masyarakat meski dihadapkan dengan berbagai kesibukan, padatnya jadwal, serta waktu bersama anak yang cenderung terbatas.Keywords: Pendidikan Keluarga Islam, Orang Tua Berprofesi Guru, Perilaku Sosial Anak.

Abstract

Gender discrimination has been around for a long time. Interestingly in Banjar, at the elite level, women are actually entrusted to play an active role in the public sphere. Such as an intellectual actor in the development of Islamic knowledge and as a leader. This role was played by Fatimah, Putri Mayang Sari, Nyai Kumala Sari, and Ratu Zaleha. Everyone has their own role in their era. The writing of this article uses the library method, by applying 4 steps, that are heuristics, verification or source criticism, interpretation, and historiography. The results of the study indicate that historically Banjar women, at the elite level, have had opportunities and open roles to be able to contribute to the public sphere. The implementation of this role relies on clarity of thought, flexibility of knowledge, courage to take risks, and the ability to read situations and understand social conditions. Thus, the role and contribution of women in various fields cannot be denied and underestimated. The role and contribution of Banjar women needs to be disclosed more broadly, because studies related to this matter are still limited.
