Abstract

KAJIAN KETERCAPAIAN STANDAR PENGELOLAAN DI SD SE KECAMATAN DEPOK SLEMAN Sugiyono, Lantip Diat Prasojo, dan Nurtanio Agus Purwanto PPS Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta Email: sugiyono@uny.ac.id; lantip@uny.ac.id; nurtanio@uny.ac.id ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui (1) seberapa besar pencapaian standar pengelolaan SD di Kecamatan Depok Kabupaten Sleman, (2) faktor-faktor apa yang menjadi penghambat dan pendukung dalam ketercapaian standar pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei untuk menggali data baik secara kualitatif maupun kuantitatif. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 9 SD di Kecamatan Depok yang diambil secara purposive sampling, dengan mempertimbangkan SD klister 1, klister 2, dan klister 3. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik FGD, angket, dokumen, observasi, dan wawancara. Validitas dan reliabilitas instrumen angket menggunakan validasi ahli. Keabsahan data kualitatif divalidasi dengan model informan review, dan triangulasi data. Analisis data kuantitatif dengan teknik analisis deskriptif dan data kualitatif dengan model analisis interaktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pencapaian setiap indikator pada standar pengelolaan untuk Sekolah Dasar (SD) di Kecamatan Depok Kabupaten Sleman tingkat pencapaian yang tertinggi adalah pada indikator pengawasan dan evaluasi (90.5%), dan yang terendah adalah indikator Sistem Informasi Manajemen Sekolah (73.0%) dan Kepemimpinan Sekolah (76.9%). Hambatan dan usaha yang dialami sekolah dalam pencapaian Standar pengelolaan pendidikan antara lain belum adanya model standar pengelolaan, petugas pengelolaan yang sesuai dengan keahliannya belum memadai, belum mampu mengelola sistem informasi manajemen yang memadai untuk mendukung administrasi pendidikan, visi, misi, tujuan dan rencana kerja yang sesuai. Usaha yang dilakukan berkoordinasi dengan stakholder khususnya sekolah untuk membuat model pengelolaan sesuai sekolah masing-masing, mensinkronkan antara visi,misi, dan kerja sekolah, merekrut petugas pengelolaan yang mampu mengelola sistem informasi manajemen untuk mendukung kegiatan pendidikan yang lebih adaptif terhadap dinamika pendidikan. Kata kunci: kajian, standar nasional, pengelolaan STUDY OF ACHIEVEMENT OF MANAGEMENT STANDARDS IN SD DISTRICT OF DEPOK SLEMAN ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is to find out (1) how much the achievement of the standard management of elementary school in Depok Regency Sleman District, (2) what factors are the obstacles and supporters in achieving the standards of educators and education personnel. This research uses survey methods to explore data both qualitatively and quantitatively. The sample in this study were 9 elementary schools in Depok Subdistrict which were taken by purposive sampling, taking into account the elementary clister 1, clister 2, and clister 3. The data collection techniques used FGD techniques, questionnaires, documents, observations, and interviews. Validity and reliability of the questionnaire instrument using expert validation. The validity of the qualitative data is validated with the informant review model, and data triangulation. Quantitative data analysis with descriptive analysis techniques and qualitative data with interactive analysis models. The results showed that the achievement of each indicator in the management standard for Primary Schools (SD) in Depok District of Sleman Regency the highest level of achievement was the indicator of supervision and evaluation (90.5%), and the lowest was the indicator of School Management Information System (73.0%) and School Leadership (76.9%). Obstacles and efforts experienced by schools in achieving education management standards include the lack of a standard management model, management officers who are in accordance with their expertise are inadequate, unable to manage adequate management information systems to support education administration, vision, mission, goals and work plans that are corresponding. Efforts are made to coordinate with stakholders especially schools to create management models according to their respective schools, synchronize the vision, mission and work of schools, recruit management officers who are able to manage management information systems to support educational activities that are more adaptive to the dynamics of education. Abstract

This research is a qualitative study that aims to analyze the application of virtual leadership to boarding schools in Indonesia in an effort to maintain a quality culture in the new normality of the Covid-19 pandemic. This study is a literature study that analyzes sources from previous studies on virtual leadership and its relationship to the Covid-19 pandemic. The method of data collection is done in several stages, namely sorting, organizing, and editing. After the data in the form of the documents in question collected then done data analysis by providing interpretation. The results of this study is divided into several section that include: 1) effective leadership in the period and post-Covid-19 pandemic, 2) kyai and its potential to lead a virtual environment, 3) the state and quality of boarding schools after the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Leadership in education plays a key role in management. Therefore, through leadership, management functions can be run in accordance with an agreed mechanism for achieving educational goals. Leadership is a core part in management. As an art to influence others, whether the leadership is strong or weak authority provides a direct consequence in the institute management’s success or fail. No exception the educational institutions. Educational leaders require assertive behavior that is the behavior that include an expression or declaration of interests, needs, opinions, thoughts, and feelings, which are done wisely, fairly, and effectively, so that our rights can be maintained with due regard to respect for equality and rights with other people. Through such assertive behavior, the educational leaders can manage the whole personality, and it will impact on the sustainability development of education organization. Assertive behavior is developed as an effort to make the leader a model or example through self-discipline and cooperation.   Keywords: Assertive behavior, educational leaders.

Abstract

Berbagai permasalahan yang dihadapi guru dalam menjalankan kewajiban dan tugasnya terletak pada upaya peningkatan kemampuan profesional yang kurang diperhatikan secara maksimal. Tanggung jawab peningkatan kemampuan profesional guru terletak pada: 1) individu guru; 2) lembaga penghasil tenaga keguruan; 3) organisasi profesi; dan 4) sekolah yang menaungi guru yang bersangkutan. Strategi peningkatan kemampuan profesional dapat dilakukan baik secara indvidual maupun kolektif. Peningkatan yang berkelanjutan akan membawa perubahan kemampuan profesional guru secara berkelanjutan pula

Abstract

ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui (1) bagaimana realitas implementasi pendidikan karakter di SMK dalam mewujudkan jati diri bangsa, dan (2) bagaimana ketercapaian implementasi pendidikan karakter di SMK dalam mewujudkan jati diri bangsa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survey. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah SMK di Sleman yang diambil secara purposive sampling, dengan mempertimbangkan klasifikasi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik FGD, angket, dokumen, observasi, dan wawancara. Validitas dan reliabilitas instrumen angket menggunakan validasi ahli. Keabsahan data kualitatif divalidasi dengan model informan review, dan triangulasi data. Analisis data kuantitatif dengan teknik analisis deskriptif dan data kualitatif dengan model analisis interaktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (a) sebagi pendidik yaitu, peran yang berkaitan dengan tugas memberikan bantuan dan dorongan  terhadap aturan-aturan sekolah dan norma hidup dalam keluarga dan masyarak; (b) sebagai teladan yaitu, guru menjadikan dirinya sebagai panutan bagi siswa (c) motivator yaitu, dengan adanya kemampuan guru dalam membangkitkan spirit, etos kerja; (d) sebagai pengajar dan pembimbing dalam pengalaman belajar; (e) pelajar yaitu, guru selalu mendidik karakter dan keterampilan; Sedangkan peran kepala sekolah (a) manajer yaitu, sebagai penentu kebijakan yang mampu mengakomodir seluruh kebutuhan siswa terkait pendidikan karakter; (b)  sebagai pemimpin yaitu, memberikan petunjuk dan pengawasan, kemampuan mengambil keputusan, dan kemampuan berkomunikasi; (c) Mendorong semua guru dan karyawan untuk menjadi model karakter yang baik bagi semua siswa; (d) membentuk dan mendukung kerjanya tim budaya sekolah dan karakter. Kata kunci: karakter, pendidikan, sekolah menengah kejuruan

Abstract

Al-Luqmaniyyah is a pesantren (Islamic boarding schools) preserving the salaf tradition. Located in the middle of a city with most of its santri (students) are college students, undoubtedly it is exposed to a lot of globalization, while its younger students remain unable to filter the profound and devastating impacts. This study aims to determine how the management of character development of santri at Pesantren Al-Luqmaniyyah uses the four functions of management by George R. Terry. The method used is a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis. The results showed that Pesantren Al-Luqmaniyyah used the four management functions of George R. Terry in building the character of santri, including planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and describe the achievement of 8 national education standards in one Madrasah Aliyah in Tebo, Jambi Province, through the application of school-based management (MBS) to improve school quality. This type of research is qualitative with a descriptive approach . The research subjects are school principals and education staff. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews, and documentation. The analytical induction technique used to analyze the data is to develop a theory. Data analysis was carried out using the Miles and Huberman models: data condensation, data display and conclusion drawing. The results of this study explain that School-Based Management (SBM) implemented by one Madrasah Aliyah in Tebo as a school quality management system is able to improve school quality with management that involves the participation of all school components and focuses on programs to improve the quality of graduate students and educators. The achievement of a well-executed SBM management is evidenced by the fulfilment of 8 national education standards. The achievement of 8 national education standards shows a quality improvement in one of the Aliyah madrasas in Tebo with accreditation for five years

Abstract

The transformation of post-pandemic learning at Indonesian universities is becoming increasingly diverse. Several universities use hybrid learning models to implement hybrid learning practices. The purpose of this study is to assess the hybrid learning process at two Indonesian universities. The context input process product (CIPP) evaluation model is used in this study as part of a mixed method. Quantitative methods are used to get an overview of student and lecturer responses, whereas qualitative methods are used to dig deeper into data about hybrid learning practices. This study included 341 students and 22 lecturers from both universities. Techniques for collecting data include questionnaires, interviews, observation, and documentation studies. The data was analyzed using learning theories. The study’s findings indicate that hybrid learning practices are performing well. The readiness of university infrastructure, as well as the readiness of students and lecturers, determines the success of hybrid learning implementation. In practice, however, some lecturers tend to use face-to-face or online learning practices exclusively to fill gaps in the hybrid learning process. This study suggests that universities investigate an effective model for implementing hybrid learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui bentuk internalisasi nilai-nilai  pendidikan karakter anak usia dini melalui pembiasaan dan keteladanan. Pendidikan karakter bagi  anak usia dini  dimaksudkan  untuk menanamkan  nilai-nilai kebaikan  sebagai dasar untuk pengembangan pribadi selanjutnya. Pendidikan karakter bagi anak usia dini adalah membentuk mental dan karakter bangsa di masa yang akan datang. Rendahnya kesadaran dan kompetensi tenaga pengajar anak usia dini terhadap pendidikan karakter menjadi permasalahan yang harus diselesaikan dalam kaitannya membentuk karakter bangsa di masa depan. Implementasi Pendidikan karakter pada anak usia dini khususnya taman kanak-kanak dimulai dengan penyusunan silabus/ RPPH yang mencakup implementasi pendidikan karakter terhadap anak usia dini. Penelitian ini mengidentifikasi implementasi nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter, dengan menggunakan siklus tahapan RD dari Borg dan Gall. Model akan diuji secara teoritik maupun secara empirik di lapangan melalui penelitian pendahuluan, pendalaman penanaman nilai-nilai  pendidikan karakter dan implementasinya   melalui  keteladanan dan pembiasaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses implementasi pendidikan karakter di lembaga PAUD se-Kecamatan Ngemplak dapat dilihat dari penekanan 4 karakter dalam proses pembelajaran. Empat karakter dalam pendidikan karakter meliputi karakter: religius, jujur, toleransi, dan disiplin. Setiap indikator pendidikan karakter ditunjukkan dengan strategi maupun metode pembelajaran yang mencerminkan nilai nilai setiap karakter. Metode pembelajaran yang dimaksud dapat berupa wujud penugasan maupun praktik pembelajaran serta pembiasaan  sehingga nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter dapat terimplementasikan. Kata kunci : Karakter, Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini
