Abstract

AbstrakBiometrik merupakan ilmu yang membahas mengenai pengenalan identitas seseorang. Pengenalan seseorang dapat dilakukan melalui media suara, gambar, dan tulisan. Banyak sekali teknologi yang membutuhkan informasi otentik mengenai identitas seseorang. Telapak tangan merupakan biometrika yang masih relatif baru bila dibandingkan dengan sistem biometrika seperti wajah maupun sidik jari. Tekstur telapak tangan merupakan hal unik dan berbeda yang dimiliki oleh setiap manusia. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengimplementasikan citra telapak tangan untuk dapat diidentifikasi dengan memanfaatkan metode Image Proccessing dengan bantuan Software Visual Studio 2010 sebagai system identifikasi pengenalan garis telapak tangan(Pattern Recognition), dan perangkat keras sebagai penerima keluaran dari sistem identifikasi perangkat lunak dan menerjemahkannya sebagai akses untuk membuka pintu. Penulis memasukkan 10 citra Telapak tangan yang berbeda, dimana 1citra telapak tangan seseorang disimpan dalam database masing-masing 10 gambar sebagai citra latih. Program mampu melakukan proses klasifikasi sebanyak 8 data dari 10 data uji, sehingga presentase keberhasilannya adalah 80% Kata kunci: Biometrik, keamanan, Image Proccesing, Pattern Recognition

Abstract

Information data security is an important aspect of exchanging data and information. Data and information security can be done in various ways, including by using the cesarean cipher method in cryptographic techniques. The cesarean cipher method of cryptographic technique is a substitution coding system which is done by replacing each alphabet character with other characters along the 26 alphabet characters so that the coding only occurs in the alphabet itself without any other punctuation. This study proposes a modification to the cesarean cipher technique by adding to the number of characters used, namely 256 characters in the ASCII code. The caesar cipher application or CaesarApp uses the methodology of library study, consultation, application design and application testing. The implementation of the CaesarApp application was created using the open-source Android Studio 3.5 application. The results of tests conducted on the CaesarApp application note that the modification of the caesar cipher with 256 ASCII characters results in a secure information data security application, this application has a deficiency in reading limitations on ASCII characters, so characters cannot be read properly on android users.

Abstract

Skin health, especially facial skin, is important because the face is the main attraction seen by others. This is closely related to the use of skincare products or skin care products that are used daily. Before determining which skincare product to use, it is very important to know the conditions and problems of facial skin. To make it easier to find out skin conditions and problems, researchers created an android-based application called "Hi Beautiful" using the Machine Learning and Simple Additive Weighting methods. In the application, Machine Learning plays a role in providing information on skin problems based on the results of feature extraction using the Gray Level Co-Occurrence Matrix (GLCM) method whose feature extraction results will be classified by the K-Nearest Neighbor method through inputting images on facial skin using the cellphone camera feature. Meanwhile, the simple additive weighting method is used to provide recommendations for skincare products based on the criteria for skin problems, skin types, age and product price ranges to be recommended. The implementation of the Hi Beautiful application is made using the open source Android Studio application. The results of tests carried out on the Hi Beautiful application include information on skin problems and recommendations for skincare products in the form of cleanser, toner, serum and moisturizer.

Abstract

Internet is the nessecity that widely used today. One of the way to access the internet it self, we can use the facilities provides by PT.Telekomunikasi that is WiFi.Id. in this application, namely “The WiFi.Id Performance Monitoring Application” can be used to improving the WiFi.Id performance for making it always in good condition and stable. This application is made in web base application where is can be useful for checking WiFi.Id performance that distributed in several point in the fields, the preference from this application we can check in one point from several acceess point without needed to check every point with the provision we still getting a signal that emitted by WiFi.Id access point it self. From this application we can check the quality of bandwidth in every access point, we will know speeds of upload and download that giving and also know the value of ping and jitter in every access point that emitte the signal. This application also can show some of active access point in that location.

Abstract

The increase in the number of tourists to South Sumatra can be seen from the interest of visitors who come to the area for tourist destinations. The tourists from outside of South Sumatra who have visited this province for the first time will have difficulty accessing detailed information on tourist place and lodging. So, South Sumatra should be able to develop facilities regarding tourist directions to facilitate tourists. The purpose of this research presents an application to help users find information about tourist place and lodging then make users easier to book tourist place. The development of application made using the waterfall method and the Java, PHP, XML programming language with Android Studio 181.5 software. Then the concept used is the Unified Modeling Language (UML) with Activity Diagrams. The results of this research are android-based by online application that can display information in the form of profiles, contacts, budget, routes to the location of tourist places and lodging places then make the tourist easier to book tourist places.

Abstract

Nowadays, television is used for educational purposes. It is easily accessible through air-to-air broadcasts and can be connected via satellite. What is witnessed on a television screen is all image and sound elements. Many people feel uncomfortable watching television shows because when the television is used, the broadcasts that appear are not all images and sounds that can be seen and heard properly. Most antennas used by every household are patented in a certain position. Based on the existing description, the problem that would be solved is how to design an IoT-based TV broadcasting antenna system to make it easier to watch television with clear broadcasts and good sound without changing the antenna's position manually. With the design method, the tool to be made consists of a flowchart and a circuit design, namely, building a system with inputs, processes, and outputs. The automatic TV broadcasting antenna system based on the internet of things (IoT) is a system that points the antenna in the best position for each selected broadcast that can be controlled via Android using the Blynk IoT Application. After that, the test was carried out by taking data at two locations for the IoT antenna. The assessment results showed that each location was different, and the position of the antenna direction would also be different, so the location of the antenna must be changed by changing the angle contained in the Arduino IDE software.

Abstract

The development of fifth-generation cellular technology, commonly referred to as "5G" networks, is believed to be able to maximize data speed access needs. In order to maximize the utilization of the existing 5G network in Indonesia, Telkomsel providers are using a frequency of 2.3 GHz with a bandwidth of 50 MHz. So we need an antenna amplifier that is easy to fabricate and place anywhere to maximize the signal capture range. A microstrip antenna is a suitable antenna for this amplifier. The advantage of this antenna is that it has a light mass and is easy to fabricate. while the drawbacks come in the form of narrow bandwidth and small gains. Therefore, an antenna design with an artificial substrate and array technique was made to overcome this. The design of this microstrip antenna was made in the CST Studio Suite 2019. The design was carried out by entering the antenna dimension values to be simulated and seeing the parameters; if they are not suitable, then they need to be optimized again, and when they are appropriate, the design results are fabricated and printed. In testing the signal capture power using the Xirrus WiFi Inspector, this antenna was able to capture the signal beam, which was 105 meters or 40 meters further than not using the antenna. In addition, from testing, it is known that this antenna has a gain of 16.15 dBi. While in the simulation, it is also known that this antenna has the following characteristics: return loss: -32,353 dB (S11), -32,737 dB (S22), -33,974 dB (S33), -34,423 dB (S44), VSWR: 1,049 (VSWR 1), 1,047 (VSWR 2), 1.040 (VSWR 3), 1.038 (VSWR 4), impedance: 50.7 -111 MHz.

Abstract

This paper aims to design an automatic organic fertilizer processing tool by utilizing the Internet Of Things (IOT) as a monitoring system. The proposed tool system aims to make it easier to sort organic waste or inorganic waste which can then also automatically process organic waste into organic fertilizer. The method used is a literature survey conducted to solve relevant problems. At this stage, a data collection survey is carried out by utilizing previous research sources from books, journals, and the internet. We used this literature review to enable us to update the tool from previous research. The proposed system uses ESP 32 module as a microcontroller that can connect to WiFi. In addition, it has also been introduced in the Internet of Things (IOT) as an automatic monitoring system for organic fertilizer processing plants. Garbage download information is sent via the internet and returned to the Android application. However, in this study, one application, namely WhatsApp, was used. Garbage has long been a social problem, especially in big cities, polluting the environment, endangering public health, and reducing environmental aesthetics. Therefore, waste management is important to minimize the negative impact of waste. Finally, the research results obtained can be useful as technological development in the future of automatic organic waste processing equipment.
