Abstract

This research aims to test and find empirical theoretical evidence regarding the influence of January on changes in stock prices and volume by foreign and domestic investors. The research method uses a quantitative method. The researcher uses sample data on the LQ-45 company's stock return report on January 2, 2020 to 2023 from Indonesia Stock Exchange by using Multiple Regression Analysis with IBM SPSS 20. This research has found that partially foreign and domestic investor have significant impact on volume of stock while Domestic investor have significant impact on price stock but Foreign Investor does not significant impact on price stock. Simultaneously Foreign and domestic investor have significant impact on price and volume of stock.  The contribution and benefit of this research is to expand the scientific and theoretical models of the January effect based on trading prices and share volume by foreign and domestic investors

Abstract

Perbankan memiliki peran strategis dalam menopang stabilitas ekonomi nasional, namun dinamika kompetisi, tata kelola, dan pertumbuhan aset sering kali memengaruhi kinerja keuangan lembaga perbankan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Corporate Governance, Growth, dan Banking Competition terhadap kinerja keuangan bank konvensional di Indonesia. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan data sekunder yang diperoleh dari laporan keuangan dan hasil self-assessment Good Corporate Governance pada 36 bank konvensional yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) selama periode 2020–2022. Analisis dilakukan menggunakan regresi data panel dengan pendekatan Random Effect Model (REM) yang dipilih berdasarkan Uji Chow (p = 0,0000) dan Uji Hausman (p = 0,3346). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara simultan ketiga variabel independen berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja keuangan dengan nilai Prob (F-statistic) sebesar 0,0220, sedangkan secara parsial hanya variabel Size (ukuran bank) yang berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Return on Assets (ROA) dengan koefisien 0,010668 dan p = 0,0496. Adapun Corporate Governance (p = 0,1074), Growth (p = 0,3173), dan Banking Competition (p = 0,4038) berpengaruh positif tetapi tidak signifikan. Nilai Adjusted R² sebesar 0,0657 menunjukkan bahwa ketiga variabel independen mampu menjelaskan 6,57% variasi kinerja keuangan bank. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa ukuran aset masih menjadi determinan utama dalam meningkatkan profitabilitas perbankan, sementara penerapan tata kelola, pertumbuhan, dan intensitas persaingan perlu diperkuat agar memberikan dampak nyata terhadap kinerja keuangan sektor perbankan di Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze (1) the effect of artificial intelligence on loan decisions using TikTok Paylater, (2) the effect of hedonistic lifestyle on loan decisions using TikTok Paylater (3) The effect of impulsive buying on loan decisions using TikTok Paylater (4) The effect of artificial intelligence on loan decisions using TikTok Paylater through self-control (5) The effect of hedonistic lifestyle on loan decisions using TikTok Paylater through self-control (6) The Influence of Impulsive Purchasing on Loan Decisions Using TikTok Paylater Through Self-Control, and (7) The Influence of Self-Control on Loan Decisions Using TikTok Paylater. The sample in this study consisted of 110 Gen Z respondents in Yogyakarta who were active TikTok Shop users and had made at least one transaction using TikTok Paylater in the last month. Data collection was conducted by distributing questionnaires through social media, and the sampling technique used was purposive sampling. This study used the Outer Model analysis technique, Model Fit Test, and Inner Model Analysis. The analysis software used was SmartPLS 4.1.0.9. The results of the study show that (1) there is a positive and significant effect between the Artificial Intelligence variable and the decision to borrow using TikTok Paylater (2) there is no positive and significant effect of the Hedonistic Lifestyle variable on the decision to borrow using TikTok Paylater (3) there is no positive and significant effect of the Impulsive Purchasing variable on the decision to borrow using TikTok Paylater (4) There is no positive effect of the Artificial Intelligence variable on the decision to borrow using TikTok Paylater through Self-Control (5) There is no positive and significant effect of the Hedonistic Lifestyle variable on the decision to borrow using TikTok Paylater through Self-Control (6) There is no positive and significant effect of the Impulsive Purchasing variable on Loan Decisions Using TikTok Paylater through Self-Control (7) There is no positive and significant effect of the Self-Control variable on Loan Decisions Using TikTok Paylater.
