Abstract

Digital mass media is expected to provide educational information about politics in order to raise the political participation of its readers. This article aims to explain the role of digital media in increasing political participation, the obstacles it faces, and its solutions, by looking at Tirto.id.This research was a descriptive qualitative research. Research data was collected through in-depth interviews and participatory observation and focus group discussion. They were complemented with literature study and online research to obtain secondary data. The result of this research was that as a digital media, Tirto.id exists with its vision and mission as press media in providing actual reports while maintaining credibility. To this day Tirto.id maintains the values and rules mandated in the press law to continue providing information, education, entertainment and social control . Tirto.id plays its role in increasing political participation, as seen in its readers’ many responses to its reports, especially with regard to political news which was connected to its social media.  It is also evidenced in how Tirto.id keeps its credibility by giving data-based balanced information data, validated through data checking and independent research, as well as its writer columns, though the latter is still limited.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the tourism potential of villages that have adopted local wisdom ofuniversal value to build and increase economic resilience in Karangrejo Village and KaranganyarVillage, Borobudur District, Magelang Regency. This research model is descriptive by taking aqualitative type of research. This research is divided into two subjects, namely the group ofparticipants who are intensively involved and the peserta who are involved incidentally. The datacollection usedis a non-test method by making observations, and direct interviews with researchsubjects and documentation data. The data that has been obtained is then analyzed with descriptive analysis techniques using Nvivo software by combining existing theories with fieldconditions. This research resulted in a description shown that the development of the potentialof wisata villages in Karangrejo and Karanganyar, Borobudur District, Magelang Regency hasadoptedlocal wisdom that contains philosophical and universal values. Local wisdom is the basisfor the development of the two tourist villages, especially for the economic recovery of thecommunity after the Covid-19 pandemic. The values of "gotong royong" or collaboration between elements of society, honesty, love of cultural arts and craft skills inherited from ancestors are able to increase the economic resilience of rural communities.

Abstract

Permasalahan sanitasi masih menjadi tantangan utama dalam peningkatan kualitas kesehatan masyarakat pedesaan, termasuk di Desa Tlogo. Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran, pengetahuan, dan praktik pemeliharaan sanitasi masyarakat melalui pendekatan berbasis kearifan lokal. Kearifan lokal Desa Tlogo, seperti nilai gotong royong, musyawarah desa, serta tradisi kerja bakti, dijadikan sebagai landasan utama dalam perencanaan dan pelaksanaan kegiatan. Metode yang digunakan meliputi sosialisasi partisipatif, diskusi kelompok terfokus, pendampingan masyarakat, serta praktik langsung pemeliharaan sarana sanitasi lingkungan. Kegiatan ini melibatkan perangkat desa, tokoh masyarakat, kader kesehatan, dan warga setempat secara aktif. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman masyarakat tentang pentingnya sanitasi yang sehat, perubahan sikap terhadap perilaku hidup bersih, serta tumbuhnya komitmen kolektif untuk menjaga kebersihan lingkungan secara berkelanjutan. Program ini membuktikan bahwa pendekatan berbasis kearifan lokal efektif dalam memperkuat partisipasi masyarakat dan memastikan keberlanjutan pemeliharaan sanitasi desa. Dengan demikian, kegiatan pengabdian ini berkontribusi pada upaya peningkatan kesehatan masyarakat dan pelestarian nilai-nilai lokal di Desa Tlogo.
