Abstract

The purpose of this research is to reveal the role of Muhammadiyah in building the civilization of Butonese society. The research location is the Buton archipelago which consists of 6 districts and cities including Baubau city, Buton district, North Buton district, Central Buton district, South Buton district and Wakatobi district. This study used qualitative research methods. The results of this study can be concluded that the role of Muhammadiyah in building the civilization of Buton society includes the formation of organizations under the auspices of Muhammadiyah including PDM, PDA, Pemuda Muhammadiyah, IMM, IRM, AUM and Muhammadiyah branches. Apart from that in Buton there are also several Muhammadiyah schools ranging from RA, MI, SMA, and PTM, namely RA Aisyiyah in Baubau city, MIS Jabalnur, SMP Muhammadiyah Baubau, SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Tomia, SMA 1 Muhammadiyah Baubau, SMA 2 Muhammadiyah Baubau, SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Wakatobi. at Mola Wangi-Wangi Selatan, SMA 2 Muhammadiyah, and Muhammadiyah Buton University as well as several Muhammadiyah mosques. These charitable efforts are very helpful in building civilization, especially the Buton island community. With the various charities of Muhammadiyah's efforts, the people of Buton Islands are increasingly helped and their human civilization improves. The existence of Muhammadiyah on the island of Buton is certainly not free from the role of Muhammadiyah leaders who have sacrificed their wealth, energy, and thoughts on the island of Buton so that the civilization of the Buton island community from year to year is getting better and increasing. The number of Muhammadiyah figures recorded on the island of Buton is around 73 people. This research is the output of the Muhammadiyah Research Grant managed by the PP Muhammadiyah Diktilitbang Council in the 2019 funding year.Keywords: Role of Muhammadiyah, Civilization, and Buton Society

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian eksperimen ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas model Problem Based Instruction (PBI) dan model sinektik dalam pembelajaran  menulis cerita pendek pada siswa sekolah menengah pertama di suatu sekolah di Kabupaten Wakatobi, Sulawesi Tenggara. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga hendak mengetahui bagaimana perbandingan efektivitas kedua model tersebut. Melalui strategi kontrol grup pre-tes-post-tes, populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII yang berjumlah 47 siswa. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa pembelajaran menulis cerpen dengan menggunakan model PBI telah memenuhi kriteria keefektifan, begitu juga dengan pembelajaran menulis cerpen dengan menggunakan model sinektik. Hasil rata-rata nilai tes akhir siswa menunjukkan bahwa kelas yang melaksanakan pembelajaran menulis cerpen dengan menggunakan model sinektik sudah mencapai ketuntasan belajar individual. Kata Kunci: Efektivitas; pembelajaran menulis cerpen; problem based instruction; sinektik

Abstract

This research is motivated by the fact that in expressing feelings, a poet cannot be separated from the painting of language which is also a tool in obtaining the density of meaning which is a characteristic of a literary work of poetry. The beauty of the language chosen by Husnu Abadi in the anthology of poetry is accompanied by polite and gentle language. Husnu Abadi in conveying something not directly to the object he is aiming for, by analyzing the Mining and Metaphorical Meanings in the Anthology of Ocean Poetry Recitation by Husnu Abadi. This study aims to describe and collect data and analyze about: (1) Mining contained in the anthology of the poetry of Lautan Zikir by Husnu Abadi. (2) The figurative meaning contained in the poetry anthology of Lautan Zikir by Husnu Abadi. The research method used is descriptive method and uses a qualitative approach. Data and data sources in this study are the anthology of Lautan Zikir poetry by Husnu Abadi, published in Pekanbaru by UIR Press in 2004. The number of poems in the poetry anthology is 16 poetry titles and all of them are analyzed. The results showed that the symbolism contained in the anthology of the poetry of the Ocean of the Remembrance symbolizes the similarity in nature to what it symbolizes. In addition, the symbolism in the anthology of poetry and figurative meaning that the author found in the anthology of Lautan Zikir poems by Husnu Abadi, which is dominant, is the style of language or the meaning of equality, allegory, personification, metaphor, hyperbole, totern proparte synekdose, synopsis pars prototo. Besides that, it is also used language style or other classical meanings such as euphemism, irony, and litotes.
