Abstract

Healthy Regency / City is an effort to create a district / city condition that is clean, comfortable, safe and healthy for residents to live in, which is achieved through implementing several integrated arrangements and activities agreed upon by the community and local government. Banyuwangi Regency has participated in this activity which started in 2011 ago. The District Forum in Banyuwangi Regency, which has been formed with the support of the Pokja Desa / healthy kelurahan, has carried out activities according to the 6 indicators that are currently being followed by Banyuwangi Regency. Coaching activities are carried out in incidental meetings during forum visits to the District. Activities during the Covid 19 pandemic in 2020 were more dominated by social activities such as distributing masks, hand sanitizers, spraying disinfectants in public places as an effort to break the chain of transmission of the Covid 19 virus in Banyuwangi Regency.

Abstract

The type of program of activities in this service is Community Empowerment Through Processing Plastic Waste into Premium and Alternative Solar in Buluagung Village, Siliragung District, Banyuwangi Regency, namely to process plastic waste processed into fuel oil by using a plastic catalyst machine as a village innovation, because the BUMDes "Panji Samudera "Has been facilitated by the village with a machine that can process plastic waste into fuel oil. Conclusions in this empowerment 1) The need to optimize community participation in utilizing plastic waste processing equipment into fuel oil (BBM) in Buluagung Village so that by utilizing plastic waste in addition to reducing plastic waste but also can bring a source of income for the surrounding community. 2) The need for refreshment in the BUMDES organizational structure 'Panji Samudera', due to lack of coordination and synchronization of communication with the community, causing the underutilization of the use of existing plastic catalyst machines.

Abstract

Now several Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia, have begun to practice skills education. With the intention that, the santri not only strengthen themselves in the field of general education and Islamic religious scholarship, but have the skills (skill education) that are currently needed. The purpose of this study is to find out that currently several Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia, have practiced (skill education) with the mission that, the students not only strengthen themselves in the field of general education and religious knowledge, but have skills (skill education). The type of research used is qualitative research with descriptive method. As for this study using primary and secondary data sources. The analytical technique used in this research is interactive model analysis. The results of this study can be seen from the Nurul Ikhlas Islamic Boarding School which is able to empower students and the surrounding community, such as dragon fruit cultivation, salted egg making services with many flavors, cooperatives, animal husbandry and plantations. From the results of the research conducted, it can be concluded that the Nurul Ikhlas Islamic Boarding School has a big role in empowering the community, including the economically and educationally weak groups. This is in accordance with the spirit of Islam in elevating the welfare of the weak. As practiced by pesantren, namely helping underprivileged students.
