Abstract

This study aims to determine the cause of working for the long seek graduate of the University of Riau. Data were drawn from this study obtained at Riau University Academic Section from 2008 to 2012. Research uses descriptive research method derived from the questionnaire given to the students graduate of the University of Riau. From the data obtained and questionnaires that the desire of a person with a high wage to be able to meet the needs of the higher life. Generally, a person willing to spend a long time to have a job with great pay. And also with the job information available in print and online can give someone the opportunity to work even greater. So also with the presence of sex differences required by a company, because sometimes different genders, different types of jobs is also suitable for obtainment. Keywords: Wages, Information, Sex.

Abstract

The purpose of this researched is to identify and analyze the influence of raw materials cost, fuel cost and capital cost to value-added of tobacco processing industry in Indonesia. This research was used secondary data from the years 2000-2013, published by the Badan Pusat Statistik Indonesia. The analytical method used multiple linear regression analysis, the beta coefficient test and elasticity test with SPSS 21. The results of this research showed simultaneous raw materials cost, fuel cost and capital cost affect the value-added of tobacco processing industry in Indonesia. Partially fuel cost has no significant effect on the value-added of tobacco processing industry, while raw materials cost and capital cost significantly influence the value-added processing of the tobacco industry.The capital cost has a negative value. Raw materials cost have a dominant influence on value-added of tobacco processing industry in Indonesia.Keywords: Cost, Capital, Raw Materials, Value Added and Tobacco

Abstract

Analysis of feasibility is required to see a picture of the feasible or not will be run like a business. Research was conducted on the creative industry sector, advertising in the city of Pekanbaru. The purpose of this Research was to determine the prospects for the development of the creative industries sector advertising in Pekanbaru. This Research uses primary data obtained directly from the respondents creative industry sector advertising in Pekanbaru. Samples of creative industry sector advertising used in this Research amounted to 32 units of business or industry and secondary data obtained from the Department of Industry and Trade of the City of Pekanbaru and Pekanbaru City Central of Statistics. The feasibility Research business development was examined using the financial aspects. Results of this Research showed that the creative industries sector advertising in the city of Pekanbaru eligible to run and has very good prospects. Four methods used for the calculation of investment feasibility analysis tool with the results of the calculation as follows: NPV (Net Present Value) of Rp. 1706220.088. And business efficiency (B/C ratio Method) of 1.3048, of IRR (Internal Rate of Return) methods obtained an interest rate of 43.66%. These results indicate that the rate of return that is greater than the prescribed rate of interest of 7.3%. While the method of Break Even Point (BEP) is reached at the level of sales of 27.328 m2 or Rp 651,607,543.00.Keywords: Analysis of feasibility, NPV, B / C ratio, IRR, and BEP

Abstract

The success of Industrial and trading sector have given big contribution in creating national economic structure. One of food industries in Payakumbuh city that have vase growth is F1 Aina corn industry. This study aims to determine the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats in the development of Sweet Corn Industry F1Aina. Knowing the industry development strategy F1Aina Sweet Corn. The analytical method used is the SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, opportunites, Threats). This research was conducted in the District Payakumbuh West Payakumbuh Nagari Koto Nan IV. The population in this study is the sweet corn industry F1Aina located in Payakumbuh, Engineering sample selection of respondents was done by purposive (purposional sampling) that is as much data was collected by interview, observation, and questionnaires. Sampling method is purposive sampling. This type of data consists of primary and secondary data. The results of the SWOT analysis matrix values can be obtained from internal factors 17 and the value of the matrix of external factors 5. Application Aggressive Strategy / Strategies SO Sweet Corn Industry F1Aina means are in a situation that is very profitable or have the power and opportunity. The strategy should be applied is taking advantage of opportunities for profit. Based on the analysis of internal factors and external indicators of the strength of the sweet corn industry F1Aina in Payakumbuh is supervise the activities of production, production capacity is excellent.Keywords : Food Industry, SWOT Analysis, Development Strategy

Abstract

This research aims to determine the basic sector and non-sector economic base of agriculture in the province of Riau. The object of this research is Riau Province which that region dominated by agriculuture sector. The analytical method used in this research is descriptive and quantitative methods. This research uses an annual datas from 1997 to 2015 which get from Riau Province Statistical and analyzed with Location Quotient (LQ), Share Analysis and Typology Klassen. Research of Location Quotient and Typology Klassen concluded that the plantation subsector, forestry subsector, also subsector of agriculture and hunting are the economic base in the agricultural sector in the province of Riau. This is indicated by the value of PB ≥ 0 and LQ ≥ 1. Instead subsector foodstuffs, farms subsector and fisheries subsectors become non bases sector because value PB ≥ 0 and LQ <1. Shift Share analysis test results shows that on 1997 to 2010, subsector foodstuffs and fisheries subsector has a proportional share of positive value. While the plantation subsector, farms and forestry sub-sector is negative. The result on 2011-2015 shows that the proportional share of the food sub-sector, subsector horticulture and forestry subsector is negative and it’s positive for fisheries subsector, plantation, farms and agriculture.Keywords : location quotient, Klassen typology, Shift share, GDP, Economic base

Abstract

This study aims to determine the development strategy of the freshwater fish feed industry in Kampar subdistrict of Kampar district . This study using all population of 18 units of fish feed industry as the sample by using the census method, Analysis method used in this reseatch is SWOT Analysis and IE Matrix. The results of the SWOT analysis show that the fish feed industry in Kampar District, Kampar Regency, has a strategy to develop a business in dealing with internal and external problems. IE matrix for the fish feed industry is in Column V, which has moderate internal and external capabilities and is in a state of growth and stability. Based on the SWOT analysis diagram, this strategy is in quadrant 1 (aggressive strategy). The strategy that must be established in these circumstances is to support aggressive growth policies. This aggressive strategy is more focused on SO (StrengthOpportunities) strategy, namely by using strength to take advantage of existing opportunities.Keywords: Strategy, Internal, Eksternal

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the structure and performance of the confection industry in Pekanbaru city. The method used in this research is quantitative descriptive methods. The type of data used in this research are primary data and secondary data. Where the primary data itself is obtained directly from respondents through interviews, documentation and questionnaires. While the secondary data itself is obtained through government agencies such as the Department of Industry and Trade of Pekanbaru City. The analytical method used in this research is a strategy of analyzing structure and industrial performance with the help of Market Share (MS, Concentration Ratio (CR), Indeks Herfiendahl-Hirschman (IHH), and Price Cost Margin(PCM). The results of the study of market share obtained the highest MS of 6,79% and the lowest MS of 1,25%. Research on the Concentration Ratio of 4 companies (CR4) in the confection industry in Pekanbaru City amounted to 24,55%. Indeks HerfiendahlHirschman (IHH) calculation is 0,048599. Abstract

This thesis discusses the Furniture Industry Development Feasibility Analysis of Supreme Naidoo districts Kampar District Kampar Kiri. The purpose of this study was to determine the feasibility of the development of the furniture industry Masterpiece in Kampar District Kampar Kiri seen from the financial aspect. This is a descriptive quantitative research, which aims to illustrate to the reader and reveals a situation or problem, the events regarding the feasibility of the development of the furniture industry maha financial karya.Untuk using the net present value, internal rate of return, as well as the net benefit cost ratio. The results showed that the industry Furniture Masterpiece seen from the calculation of NPV calculation result is 339 847 120> o the business viable. BCR calculation results which scored 1.15> 1, then the effort feasible. IRR calculation result is 69.04% while the specified IRR is 65%, then the IRR calculation results> IRR specified, means an investment deserves. Based on the aspect of NPV, BCR and IRR accepted then the business is feasible to run.Keywords: NPV, B / C ratio, and IRR

Abstract

The alumunium industry is an of individuals who enganed in the processing of alumunium into items that are needed by the community, both for household, government agencies and the general environment. Many items that can be generated from this industrywith a variety of interesting shapes.The purpose of this study as to determine the feasibility of industrial goods of alumunium in the Tampan district in Pekanbaru cityd if viewed from the aspect of the market. Analyzing market demand forecasting with time series method, that is : linear trend, quadratic trend,exponential trend.Result from this study indicate the estimated demand goods of alumunium in thirty nine industries experiencing increased every month, demand din December 2014 showed the number of 780 units, while for the next month is January 2015 shows at 902,73 units, demand foredcasts up to December 2015 show in increase every month. That mean the industry has good prospects for development if viewed rom the aspect of the market.Keywords : Aspect of the market, prospective consumers,and demand forecast

Abstract

The role of the industrial sector in regional economic development is able to produce goods and services with higher added value in a variety of certain commodities. In the processing industry, wood is one of the widely used raw materials. With the use of wood as raw materials and in accordance with its purpose wood can be used as decorative, functional and structural. One of the wood processed products that are widely used as industrial and trade needs is wooden pallet products. SiakHulu district is one of the areas in Kampar kabuaten with a pallet industry that is superior. this study aims to find out and analyze the factors that affect the production of wooden pallet industry in District SiakHulu Kampar Regency. The data used is primary data obtained from 5 timber pallet industries located in SiakHulu District and secondary data obtained from BPS and SiakHulu Sub-District Office. This study used multiple linear regression analysis methods to measure the influence of free variables on bound variables. The results of this study showed that variable capital, raw materials, labor, and technology have a significant effect on the production of wooden pallet industry in SiakHulu District. The dominant variable affecting production in the wooden pallet industry is the raw material variable.Keywords: Capital, Raw Materials, Labor, Technology, Production
