Abstract

The imbalance of early goal of the education has made students increased their negative behaviors that lead to moral degradation in the world of education. The circumstances that encourage SMAN 4 Malang to instill good character education through formal and nonformal education. One of the non-formal education programs are through school activities, namely Character Camp (PCC). The purpose of this study to determine: (1) the background and objectives of the program Character Camp (PCC) at SMAN 4 Malang; (2) the backgroundand objectives of the program Character Camp (PCC) at SMAN 4 Malang; (3) effort to plant character values and the values of any character instilled in students through a program called Character Camp (PCC) at SMAN 4 Malang; (4) the effectiveness of the program Character Camp (PCC) in instilling character values in SMAN 4 Malang.This research was conducted at SMAN 4 Malang. The method in this study was using a qualitative approach with descriptiveresearch and ex-post facto research. Where it can facilitate researchers in collecting data and searching for information that is descriptive with interviews about events that have occurred and collection of the existing documentation. The collection of data obtained are through interview techniques and the technique of documentation. Data validity technique is by using credibility, transferability, dependability and confrmability.The results show that thebackground and objectives of the program called Character Camp (PCC) is the concern by the school SMAN 4 Malang see the development of more advanced age, but many have a negative impact for students. so as to develop a positive character for the students of SMAN 4 Malang undertaking the training of character formation program that is realized in the form Character Camp (PCC). Many positive activities of the student during the execution of Character Camp (PCC) such as: outbound, mental strengthening, hypnotherapy and socialassistance (BAKSOS). Implementation of this program is made to be interesting, fun but still contains the values of the characters in it. The values of the characters in such activities as: environmental care, social care, religious, hardworking, independent, discipline and communicative. Effectiveness of the program Character Camp (PCC) in instilling character values to students only 80%, but it goes through the school rules and regulations the charactervalues will be maintained and even developed.

Abstract

Research conducted at SMAN 9 Malang about, (1) Implementation of CharacterEducation by Study of Citizenship, (2) Describe the constraints faced, (3) Describe solution made in the implementation of Character Education by Study Of Citizenship. This research uses the nearing of qualitative research. Where researchers directly to collecting information related to the title of the study. The collection of data obtained from observation, interview, and documentation. As for the target of information are principal, waka kurikulum, waka student, teacher Citizenship Education, and the student of SMAN 9 Malang. Indicate thatthe results of research in Citizenship Education in SMAN 9 Malang loading about Character Education and devolep values’s character that exist in the state ideology that is Pancasila, strategic Citizenship Education teachers of SMAN 9 Malang are with model. Habituation or reinforcement. Evaluation is conducted by the Citizenship Education teacher at SMAN 9 are cognitive, affective and psychomotor student. Values in Citizenship Education also developed in school extracurriculier activities such as extracurricular activities paskibra in SMAN 9 Malang which also inserts character education such as discipline, responbility,independence, and nationalist. It’s just that in practice there are still constraints such as there are still a few of student who make mischief in school, many teacher and students who come school late. From the times or the impact that the school conducted globalisasi. The solution of the schools that model, an awareness of the self, the role of parents.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) untuk mengetahui praktik budaya semi militer di SMKN 2 Turen (2) untuk mengetahui pengetahuan kebangsaan siswa di SMKN 2 Turen (3) untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh budaya semi militer terhadap pengetahuan Wawasan kebangsaan siswa SMKN 2 Turen. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Populasi yang digunakan adalah seluruh siswa SMKN 2 Turen dengan jumlah sampel 60 orang dengan menggunakan metode purposive random sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, penyebaran angket yang telah diujicobakan kepada seluruh siswa kelas XII, dan dokumentasi. Metode analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas, uji linieritas, regresi linier sederhana, dan uji korelasi dengan product moment. Hasil penelitian ini adalah (1) budaya semi militer yang diterapkan di SMKN 2 Turen berpengaruh signifikan dengan nilai efisiensi sebesar 2.739 (2) pengetahuan kebangsaan di SMKN 2 Turen berpengaruh signifikan dengan efisiensi sebesar 0,898 (3) ada pengaruh antara budaya semi militer terhadap pengetahuan  wawasan kebangsaan siswa SMKN 2 Turen dengan koefisien dan korelasi sebesar 0,930 dan kontribusi yang diberikan sebesar 86,5%. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah ada pengaruh yang signifikan antara budaya semi militer terhadap pengetahuan kebangsaan di SMKN 2 Turen.
