Abstract

Bina Darma University is one of higher education under the auspices of the Region II Higher Education Service Institute committed to producing graduates who have competence. One tangible form that can see from the activities carried out through the Faculty of Computer Science is the capacity-building and capabilities of prospective graduates through the certification program. Available certifications are competency certifications from world-renowned vendors that have licenses to issue certifications. But the problem that occurs is the failure caused by the unfamiliarity of participants in seeing the types of issues to be faced. Even though if it is seen to take a vendor certification exam, it will cost a lot of money and time is not small. For that reason, in this research, an alternative solution was made, namely by making a test engine try out certification. In the process of developing a test engine, the Scrum method is used, which focuses on speed in development. the results of the event show that the test engine produced can function properly and can be used as a try out the tool before conducting a certification exam.

Abstract

This research measures the level of the Palembang City ATR/BPN E-Office website using the McCall method. The McCall method is one method that can be used to measure software quality. Based on the researcher's interview with one of the Palembang City Land Office staff who said that the website was still not up to date in conveying information and lacked responsiveness or speed in accessing the website so they had to wait a long time (less efficient) where no one had ever measured the quality of the website. In this research, the McCall method is used, where analyzing website quality is based on 5 factors in product operation, namely correctness, reliability, efficiency, integrity and usability. The results of this research in the form of percentage results from the distribution of questionnaires from respondents were tested for validity and reliability values in order to obtain valid and reliable variables and indicators that were used as measuring tools in this research. The variables and indicators that are valid and reliable are then used to measure the quality value (Fa) of each variable. Measurement begins with the process of weighting variables and indicators through a questionnaire filled out by 3 experts at the Palembang City Land Office. Value weighting is carried out using a scale of 0.1 to 0.4 for each variable of truth, reliability, efficiency, integrity and use along with their respective indicators. The results of calculating the total quality level of the Palembang City ATR/BPN E-Office website show a percentage value of 68% which is in the range of 61-80%, which means it is in the Good category.

Abstract

The development of information technology in the digital era has influenced various aspects of life, including library services. Along with these technological advancements, libraries are required to develop technology-based services through the implementation of digital library automation systems such as INLISLite to improve the quality of information services. This research was conducted at the library of SMA Methodist 3 Palembang, which still used a manual system for managing borrowing, returning, searching, and cataloging books. As a result, delays and data recording errors frequently occurred. In addition, unstructured data storage made library management less efficient. Therefore, the development and integration of an INLISLite-based digital library automation system were carried out to assist in managing book collections, member data, borrowing and returning transactions, fines, and library reports in a more effective and structured manner. The benefit of this research is to support the creation of a library that continuously adapts to technological developments and provides better services to its users. This study employed the Research and Development (R&D) method, consisting of data collection, planning, development, testing, and product refinement stages. The results of this research are expected to improve the effectiveness, efficiency, and quality of information services in the school library

Abstract

The rapid advancement of information technology has increased the need for accurate and interactive data visualization to support business decision-making, including in micro-service enterprises such as laundry businesses. The primary issue faced by laundry businesses in Talang Kelapa Subdistrict, Palembang City, is the lack of optimal revenue data processing, where financial information is still presented in raw numerical form and difficult to interpret comprehensively. This study aims to develop a revenue data visualization model for 15 laundry businesses using an Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) approach based on Tableau Public to produce an interactive and informative dashboard. This research employs a quantitative method with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation of annual and monthly revenue datasets. The research stages include data collection, data cleaning, data integration into Tableau, exploratory analysis, and dashboard development consisting of treemap, heatmap, box-and-whisker plot, pie chart, side-to-side bar chart, and geographic mapping. The results reveal significant revenue disparities among the laundry businesses, with Vidi Laundry recording the highest annual revenue of IDR 560,712,000, as well as identifiable seasonal patterns and revenue outliers. The visualization successfully transforms complex numerical data into easily interpretable information that supports business performance evaluation. This study concludes that EDA-based data visualization effectively enhances understanding of revenue patterns and provides a strategic foundation for data-driven decision-making in laundry businesses.
