Abstract

The advancement of information technology has significantly influenced various aspects of life, especially in the delivery of healthcare services. Websites now play a pivotal role in providing healthcare services and information to patients, acting as a vital medium of communication. Puskesmas OPI Palembang is a healthcare institution serving the community, consisting of several departments (polyclinics), including the Maternal and Child Health Room, the Elderly Room, Special Room 1 for Respiratory Diseases, Special Room 2, General Examination Room, Dental and Oral Room, Laboratory Room, Pediatric Room, and Immunization Room. At Puskesmas OPI Palembang, a blog is currently the primary medium for disseminating health service information, alongside brochures, e-flyers, and promotional materials distributed to the local community through free health education initiatives. For outpatient health services, patient registration is still managed using paper-based records. To improve services, a website has been developed to serve as an effective platform for patients to access information about the health center, doctor schedules, polyclinics, and outpatient services, including patient registration. The website provides essential details such as the health center's location, contact information, and doctor schedules, including names, working hours, and practice days. Patients can register online by completing personal information, complaints, preferred polyclinic, and doctor details. The website was developed following the Planning, Design, Coding, and Testing phases of the Extreme Programming methodology.

Abstract

The community complaint process in Berlian Jaya Village is still carried out directly with a special application used, where residents must submit complaints to village officials through face-to-face meetings or telephones, in addition, verification, and receipt of complaints are also managed directly without an integrated digital system. This condition causes the complaint process to be less efficient, unstructured, and difficult to monitor by the public. This research aims to design and implement a Mobile-Based Berlian Jaya Village Community Complaint Information System to improve service effectiveness, transparency, and accuracy of complaint documentation. The system development method uses Extreme Programming (XP) which consists of planning, design, coding, and testing stages. The system modeling is carried out using the Unified Modeling Language (UML) which includes use case diagrams, activity diagrams, and class diagrams. The system test is carried out using the black box testing method to ensure that all functions run according to the scenario. The results of the study show that the system built is able to facilitate the community in submitting complaints online, accelerate the response of village officials, provide real-time complaint history and status, and produce structured and accurate reports, thereby increasing the efficiency and transparency of complaint management in Berlian Jaya Village.

Abstract

The high network usage activity in the multimedia laboratory at Bina Darma University has the potential to create network load that impacts service quality. This study aims to monitor and analyze network performance using the Action Research method. Monitoring was conducted over six months, from June to November 2025, with observation frequency of five days a week on active laboratory days. Network performance evaluation used Quality of Service (QoS) parameters, including throughput, delay, jitter, and packet loss, based on TIPHON standards. Initial measurements showed an average throughput of 1.02 Mbps, delay of 39.18 ms, jitter of 44.57 ms, and packet loss of 2.64%, indicating that network performance was not yet optimal. During the monitoring period, fluctuations in QoS values were observed, particularly during peak activity, which resulted in increased delay and jitter. The research results indicate that the quality of network services tends to be unstable during certain periods, thus continuous monitoring and evaluation of the network are necessary.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi telah meningkatkan kebutuhan masyarakat terhadap akses internet yang stabil dan berkualitas. Namun, masih banyak masyarakat yang belum memahami cara pengelolaan dan monitoring jaringan internet secara sederhana. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi digital masyarakat melalui pelatihan monitoring dan pengelolaan jaringan internet. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi observasi, penyampaian materi, demonstrasi, praktik langsung, dan evaluasi kegiatan. Materi yang diberikan mencakup pengenalan jaringan internet, fungsi WiFi dan router, serta teknik dasar monitoring jaringan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman peserta terhadap pengelolaan jaringan internet dan pemanfaatan perangkat jaringan dalam mendukung aktivitas digital sehari-hari. Melalui pelatihan ini, peserta memperoleh pengetahuan dan keterampilan dasar yang dapat diterapkan dalam penggunaan jaringan internet secara lebih efektif. Dengan demikian, kegiatan ini berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan literasi digital masyarakat melalui pemahaman dasar mengenai monitoring dan pengelolaan jaringan internet.

Abstract

Namun, masih banyak pengguna jaringan yang belum memiliki kemampuan dalam memantau kondisi jaringan secara efektif sehingga gangguan sering terlambat diketahui dan ditangani. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman dan keterampilan kepada masyarakat mengenai penggunaan Network Monitoring System (NMS) sebagai solusi monitoring jaringan secara real-time. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan meliputi observasi, analisis kebutuhan, instalasi dan konfigurasi sistem monitoring, pelatihan, praktik langsung, dan evaluasi kegiatan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa peserta mampu memahami konsep monitoring jaringan, mengenali fungsi dashboard monitoring, serta memahami proses identifikasi gangguan jaringan melalui sistem monitoring. Implementasi NMS memberikan kemudahan dalam memantau kondisi jaringan, mendeteksi gangguan secara cepat, serta meningkatkan efektivitas pengelolaan jaringan. Dengan demikian, penerapan NMS dapat menjadi solusi yang efektif dalam meningkatkan kualitas layanan internet di lingkungan masyarakat.

Abstract

Kegiatan magang Program Kampus Berdampak ini bertujuan merancang dan membangun aplikasi pengolahan data laporan pernikahan berbasis web sebagai solusi migrasi data manual pada Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil (Disdukcapil) Kota Palembang. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi mitra adalah proses rekapitulasi, penyimpanan, dan penyusunan laporan data pernikahan yang masih dilakukan secara manual menggunakan Microsoft Excel dan arsip fisik, sehingga rentan terhadap kesalahan pencatatan, duplikasi data, serta memakan waktu berhari-hari. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan meliputi observasi, wawancara, analisis kebutuhan sistem, perancangan basis data, pengembangan aplikasi menggunakan framework Laravel 12 dengan arsitektur Model-View-Controller (MVC), Bootstrap 5 sebagai antarmuka, dan MySQL sebagai basis data, serta pengujian fungsionalitas menggunakan Black-Box Testing. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi berhasil dikembangkan dengan fitur-fitur utama seperti pengelolaan data laporan pernikahan (CRUD), validasi data, pengelolaan pengguna, import data CSV, serta dashboard statistik real-time. Hasil pengujian Black-Box Testing menyatakan seluruh fitur berfungsi dengan baik (PASS). Aplikasi ini mampu mempercepat proses rekapitulasi data dari hitungan hari menjadi hitungan detik, meminimalkan risiko kesalahan dan duplikasi data, serta meningkatkan keamanan penyimpanan arsip digital. Kegiatan ini memberikan kontribusi nyata dalam transformasi digital pelayanan administrasi kependudukan di Disdukcapil Kota Palembang.
