Abstract

Construction of a new airport in Karawang until now has not been located. However, to simplify the process of land acquisition, the airport might be located in the coastal area so it does not interfere agricultural land and forestry. This study intends to support the construction of a new airport in Karawang which aims at adjusting procedure of California Bearing Ratio (CBR) in the cilamaya area to pavement thickness on the airport planning development. The study concluded that the minimum thickness of pavement layers in Karawang new airport is 118 cm. The construction carried out in accordance with the value of CBR in the cilamaya area and consider the value of ESWL (Equivalent Single Wheel Load) Boeing 737-900 ER. Rencana pembangunan bandar udara baru Karawang yang banyak mendapatkan dukungan pengguna jasa penerbangan, hingga saat ini belum ditentukan lokasinya. Tetapi, untuk mempermudah proses pembebasan lahan, dimungkinkan pembangunan bandar udara ini akan dilaksanakan di area pantai agar tidak mengganggu lahan pertanian dan Perhutani. Penelitian ini bermaksud untuk mendukung pembangunan bandar udara baru di Karawang, yang bertujuan menyesuaikan prosedur CBR (California Bearing Ratio) di area Cilamaya terhadap perkerasan pada perencanaan pembangunan bandar udara baru di Karawang. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa tebal lapisan perkerasan minimum bandar udara baru di Karawang adalah 118 cm, pembangunan dilaksanakan di area Cilamaya sesuai dengan nilai CBR (California Bearing Ratio), dan memperhatikan nilai ESWL (Equivalent Single Wheel Load) pesawat Boeing 737-900 ER adalah 118 cm.

Abstract

In accordance to the Acceleration and Extension of Indonesian Economy Development (MP3EI) in Maluku from 2011 to 2025, PT (Persero) Angkasa Pura I is going to extend the terminals and aprons in Pattimura Airport, Ambon. The extension of passenger terminals is necessairily important because terminal area in an international airport has to be wide enough to improve passengers’ convenience along with the increasing passengers’ movement every year. In relation, in order to figure out the minimum land side capaicty needs of Pattimura Airport Ambon in 2015 that complies to the passengers’ movement development prediction in the same year, it is necessary to conduct a study on the landside facility needs as an effort to improve passengers’ convenience.From the sum result of passengers’ number at peak hour as predicted in 2015 which is 848 passengers, the minimum size of the departure hall area is 1993 m2, check in area is 297 m2, boarding room is 1329 m2 and baggage claim area is 845 m2. Berdasarkan Masterplan Percepatan dan Perluasan Pembangunan Ekonomi Indonesia (MP3EI) di Maluku Tahun 2011-2025, PT. (Persero) Angkasa Pura I akan melakukan pengembangan terminal dan apron Bandar Udara Pattimura Ambon. Perluasan terminal penumpang sangat diperlukan karena sebagai bandar udara internasional, luas terminal akan meningkatkan kenyamanan penumpang mengimbangi meningkatnya jumlah pergerakan penumpang pertahun.terkait dengan hal tersebut di atas, untuk mengetahui kebutuhan kapasitas landside minimal Bandar Udara Pattimura Ambon pada tahun 2015 sesuai dengan perkiraan perkembangan pergerakan penumpang pada tahun tersebut, maka perlu dilakukan pengkajian terkait dengan kebutuhan fasilitas landside sebagai upaya meningkatkan kenyamanan penumpang.Dari hasil perhitungan dengan jumlah penumpang pada waktu sibuk yang diperkirakan pada tahun 2015 sebanyak 848 penumpang maka luas hall keberangkatan minimal 1993 m2 , check in area minimal 297m2 , luas ruang tunggu keberangkatan minimal 1329 m2 , luas baggage claim area minimal 845m2 , dan luas ruang tunggu keberangkatan minimal 1329 m2.

Abstract

Air transportation is the most strategic means of transportation other than transportation, in terms of travel time and the distance. As we know at this the point the aircraft was affordable rates by the various layers of society, so that the consisted of various group both upper and lower levels of educational backgrounds very in which not all know and obey the rules / regulations for passenger aircraft well before the flight or during the flight. The purpose of this study is to determine the level of compliance with the regulations of passenger safety, especially in the aircraft. Results showed passenger planes in general have been largely understood and abide by the rules and restrictions that apply in supporting of flight safety.

Abstract

Demand for transport is an indirect request (derived demand) means journey is not done solely for the trip it self but because of the needs that must be met in the course. Demand for transport is influenced by many factors directly related to transportation or not. These factors are always changing along with the dynamics of society and the passage of time. With the changes in factors, transport demand would be changing.Changes in demand will be increased or decreased depending on the nature of these factors in influencing demand. By using exponential regression will know the level of change in the number of passengers Mataram-Jakarta route. The result showed that the elasticity of transport demand for Mataram-Jakarta route is -0.04. The fast time travel is a dominant factor affecting of the air transport mode choice, followed by comfort, tariffs and no one chose the factor of safety. In case of price increase some of air would be switch to alternative mode such buses.

Abstract

The more competitive competition has demanded companies to defend and set up a marketing strategy that is appropriate and meet the conditions faced by PT Merpati Nusantara Airline. With the current number of airline companies, PT Merpati Nusantara Airline needs appropriate marketing strategy formulation that is able to create balance between internal and external environment. This study is conducted to figure out the strength, weakness and opportunity owned by the company as well as the challenge. Therefore, as a sample in this study, the author takes opinions from PT Merpati Nusantara Airline customers in Sultan Hasanuddin Airport Makassar. This study uses SWOT analysis approach method and strategic alternative matrix used to form strategic factors assessed to be able to describe clearly the opportunity and external threats as well as the strengths and weaknesses owned by PT Merpati Nusantara Airline. From the calculation of figure and rating, it shows that PT Merpati Nusantara Airline is located in the Quadrant II (-0.15:0.7) meaning that it faces a big market opportunity yet on the other hand it faces some problems and internal weaknesses. The focus of the strategy is conducted by minimizing internal problems, in order to get a better market opportunity.Persaingan yang semakin kompetitif menuntut perusahaan untuk bertahan dan menciptakan suatu strategi pemasaran yang tepat, sesuai dengan kondisi yang dihadapi oleh perusahaan PT. Merpati Nusantara Airline, yang membutuhkan strategi yang tepat dan sesuai yang dapat menyeimbangkan antara lingkungan internal dengan eksternal. Manfaat kajian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kekuatan, kelemahan dan peluang yang dimiliki oleh perusahaan serta tantangan yang harus dihadapi oleh perusahaan penerbangan PT.Merpati Nusantara Airline. , sebagai sampel dalam pengkajian ini adalah opini penumpang maskapai Merpati yang beroperasi di Bandar Udara Sultan Hasanuddin – Makassar. Metodologi yang digunakan menggunaan pendekatan analisis SWOT dan matriks alternatif strategi dipakai untuk menyusun faktor-faktor strategis yang dinilai dan dapat menggambarkan secara jelas bagaimana peluang dan ancaman eksternal yang dengan kekuatan dan kelemahan yang dimilik PT.Merpati Nusantara Airline. Dari hasil perhitungan pembobotan dan rating bahwa posisi PT. Merpati Nusantara Airline terletak pada kuadaran II (-0,15 : 0,7) yaitu menghadapi peluang pasar yang sangat besar tetapi, di lain pihak, menghadapi beberapa kendala atau kelemahan internal. Fokus strategi yang dilakukan adalah meminimalkan masalah-masalah internal, sehingga dapat merebut peluang pasar yang lebih baik.

Abstract

The increase of air transport demand during Eid always occurs in every year. However, air transport still has not met the expectation of its user, especially the aspect of services. The aim of study is to provide the overview of air transport services during the period of 2014 Eid. Quantitative method was used to determine the number of passengers and the capacity of aircrafts, whilst Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) was conducted to measure the services of destination airport of traveler during Eid period which is Solo Adi Sumarmo Airport. The results indicate that the peak of homecoming period occurred at three days (H-3) before Eid and the peak of returning period occurred at four days (H+4) after Eid. Service categories that perceived good at Solo Adi Sumarmo Airport are comfort and security of the airport, and the speed of officer in informing delay, while service categories that still need improvement are the attitude of officer in delivering services, x-ray scanning process, and the number of trolley, toilet, and disable facility. Permintaan jasa angkutan udara pada masa lebaran setiap tahun selalu mengalami peningkatan. Sarana transportasi yang memadai belum dapat memenuhi harapan masyarakat terlebih menyangkut aspek pelayanan. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran pelayanan jasa angkutan udara pada masa lebaran tahun 2014. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif untuk mengetahui jumlah penumpang dan kapasitas pesawat, sedangkan untuk mengukur pelayanan di bandara dilakukan dengan metode Importance Performance Analisis yang dilakukan di salah satu bandara yang menjadi tujuan pemudik yaitu bandara Adi Sumarmo, Solo. Hasilnya dapat diketahui bahwa puncak arus mudik terjadi pada H-3 sedangkan arus balik terjadi pada H+4. Pelayanan yang dirasakan baik di bandara Adi Sumarmo adalah Keamanan dan kenyamanan di bandara, Kecepatan petugas dalam memberikan informasi keterlambatan/delay pesawat, sedangkan yang masih memerlukan peningkatan adalah Sikap Petugas bandara dalam memberikan pelayanan, Proses pemeriksaan X-ray, dan Kecukupan jumlah troley, toilet, fasilitas penyandang cacat.

Abstract

The growth number of passenger of air transportation increased rapidly as an indicator of industrial development of air transport services must be balanced with the service and information from the airlines' services to service users in order to feel the services delivered as expected. Airline companies should be able to provide services as required passengers who have different characters. Services provided by the airlines in carrying out its activities are divided into 3 (three) groups: service with a maximum standards (full service), service with a medium standards (medium service) and services with minimum standards (no frills). Passengers PT. Lion Mentari Air Jakarta – Yogyakarta route with minimum service standards (no frills) is a sample in this study. The results of calculations using the average performance (X) 3.56 and the average expectation of passengers(Y) 4.45 indicating that the performance of PT. Lion Mentari Air is still low compared with the expectations of passengers. The results of the analysis of customer satisfaction index of 17 indicators of service provided through the 71.14% scored less satisfactorily interpreted so that the performance of PT. Lion Air still needs refinement and improvement.

Abstract

Fungsi keamanan dan keselamatan penerbangan di bandar udara pada dasarnya terdiri dari fungsi pembinaan, fungsi pengawasan, dan fungsi kegiatan dilakukan oleh pemerintah, dalam hal ini adalah Departemen Perhubungan cq. Direkorat Jenderal Perhubungan Udara, yang meliputi aspek pengaturan, pengendalian dan pengawasan terhadap kegiatan pembangunan, pendayagunaan, pengembangan sistem pelayanan keamanan dan keselamatan penerbangan dalam upaya untuk mewujudkan penyelenggaraan penerbangan yang selamat, aman, cepat, lancar, tertib dan teratur serta terpadu dengan moda transportasi lain. Berdasarkan hasil analisis pelaksana fungsi keselamatan penerbangan di bandar udara yang berkenaan dengan pelaksanaan kegiatan pelayanan lalu lintas udara serta hasil pengamatan dapat diberikan beberapa masukan yang dapat dilakukan oleh pihak terkait untuk meningkatkan peranan dan pelasanaan fungsi-fungsi keselamatan penerbangan tersebut sebagai fungsi pelaksanaan kegiatan pelayanan lalu lintas udara dengan upaya peningkatan perlu adanya penambahan jumlah personil unit ADC dan unit AMC. melihat yang dilayani saat ini semakin padat dan perlu segera diadakan penambahan peralatan yang mendukung kinerja unit AMC, agar koordinasi di lapangan tetap terjaga.

Abstract

Increasing number of Airline companies in Indonesia result in increasing domestic market share competition. One of the airline in Indonesia is Lion Air which has a large fleet. One of the airport that has a growth rate of air transport demand is Pattimura airport in Ambon. The aim of this research was to determine the Strenght, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threat (SWOT) of Lion Air in Pattimura Airport, Ambon. The goal is to provide an input to Lion Air in order to maintain and increase the air transport services in Pattimura Airport. This research used Diskriptif Quantitative analysis and SWOT method. From the calculation and rating for each of the IFAS and EFAS seen that the position of Lion Air is located in Quadrant II, namely quadrants strategy Strength - Threat at coordinates (0.67 ; 0.52). It means that Lion Air has an internal strength as a strong factor to take advantage of existing opportunities. Perusahaan penerbangan yang berjumlah 16 semakin meningkatkan persaingan dalam pangsa pasar domestik. Salah satunya adalah maskapai Lion Air dengan jumlah armada yang besar. Salah satu bandara yang mempunyai tingkat pertumbuhan permintaan angkutan udara cukup tinggi adalah bandar udara Pattimura-Ambon.Maksud kajian adalah untuk mengetahui keunggulan, kelemahan, peluang, dan tantangan yang dimiliki oleh perusahaan penerbangan Lion Air. Tujuannya adalah memberikan bahan masukan kepada Lion Air dalam upaya mempertahankan penyediaan layanan jasa angkutan udara di Bandara Pattimura-Ambon. Metodologi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini Diskriptif Kuantitatif analisis dan SWOT. Dari hasil perhitungan pembobotan dan rating untuk masing-masing IFAS dan EFAS terlihat bahwa posisi PT. Lion Mentari Air terletak pada Kuadran II, yaitu kuadran yang menerapkan strategi Strength-Threat, pada koordinat (0,67; -0,52), di mana hal ini berarti bahwa Lion Air memiliki kekuatan sebagai faktor internal yang kuat untuk memanfaatkan peluang yang ada.
