Abstract

A learning system that used the internet to make learner can learn is called with e-learning. Almost in every learning process, e-learning already has been implemented. However, the usage of e-learning shall be found out from the students perspective especially in Vocational School in one of a city from Indonesia beside the usage of module. So that, the research is designed with the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). The survey is used as a methodology in this research. The object of this research is all students in Vocational School in Malang which is 32,802 in 2018. With the population, the researcher uses the sampling technic to get the proportional sample of students using purposive random sampling. Application of the TAM in this research shows result as percentage in every variables are: (1) e-learning self-efficacy has 84.68% which is very high category; (2) complexity has 46.79% which is in moderate category; (3) lack of time has 59.42% which is in a high category; (4) perceive usefulness has 87.2% which is in very high category; (5) perceived ease of use has 80.90% which is in very high category; (6) behavioral intention to use has 81.98% which is in the very high category; (7) actual technology use has 69.31% which is in the high category. From the result, some factors affect the usage of e-learning for the learner in the learning process. The factors are: (1) e-learning self-efficacy as a pretension to seek information from e-learning; (2) complexity to use the e-learning system; (3) lack of time to use e-learning beside learning process in class and extra activity in school; (4) the benefit perception of using e-learning in daily learning process; (5) easily perception to use e-learning. The fifth factors make students to use e-learning to assign their task and this will make students use in their daily learning process.

Abstract

Pemodelan perangkat lunak merupakan salah satu tahapan penting dalam membuat rancangan perangkat lunak. Pemodelan dapat menjadi jembatan informasi dari sistem analis kepada tim pengembangan perangkat lunak dan pemangku kepentingan. Dalam Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini kami akan mengadakan pelatihan pemodelan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman terhadap pemodelan perangkat lunak. Pada kegiatan PkM ini, kami merangkul mitra Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) yang berasal dari SMK Negeri 2 Singosari dan SMK Negeri 6 Malang khususnya keminatan Rekayasa Perangkat Lunak. Kami melihat bahwa SMK merupakan salah satu instansi pencetak profesi pengembang perangkat lunak(developer). Penanaman fondasi awal yang benar dalam pengembang perangkat tentu dapat merubah mindset atau perspektif siswa dalam hal memahami proses pengembangan perangkat lunak. Oleh karena itu, kami memberikan pelatihan kepada guru dengan keminatan Rekayasa Perangkat Lunak melalui kegiatan pengabdian ini. Fokus kami memberikan pelatihan adalah agar guru mampu memahami konsep pemodelan secara tepat dan meneruskan pemahaman tersebut kepada para siswa pada saat pembelajaran di kelas. Software modelling is one of the important stages in making software design. Modelling can be an information connector from systems analysts to the software development team and stakeholders. In this community service, we will implement modelling training to improve our understanding of software modelling. In this community service activity, we engage Vocational High School (SMK) as a partner from SMK Negeri 2 Singosari and SMK Negeri 6 Malang, especially those interested in Software Engineering. We see that SMK is one of the professional software development agencies (developers). Planting the right initial foundation in software development can certainly change the mindset or perspective of students in terms of understanding the software development process. Therefore, we provide training to teachers interested in Software Engineering through this service activity. Our focus in providing training so that teachers can understand the concept of modelling appropriately and pass that understanding on to students during classroom learning.

Abstract

Desa Paseban yang berada di Kabupaten Jember merupakan daerah rawan bencana tsunami, banjir genangan, puting beliung, gempa bumi, kebakaran, abrasi pantai, kelalaian manusia, dan juga bencana sosial. Potensi bencana di Desa Paseban juga dapat berdampak pada arsip Pemerintah Desa Paseban. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk membuat perangkat desa memiliki kemampuan dalam mengelola arsip melalui emergency management arsip dengan bantuan aplikasi. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan ini melalui teori yang diberikan dilanjutkan dengan praktik. Pelaksanaan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini membutuhkan waktu sebanyak satu bulan. Peserta pelatihan yang mengikuti pelatihan ini diantaranya kepala desa dan perangkat desa, perwakilan BUMDES, perwakilan BPD, perwakilan kelompok Tani dan Nelayan, perwakilan pengelola arsip sekolah, PKK dan masyarakat desa Paseban sejumlah 70 orang. Setelah diberikan pelatihan, peserta dalam hal ini perangkat desa mendapatkan pendampingan dari tim pengabdian. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah perangkat desa dapat menggunakan aplikasi SIAMIS dalam mengelola emergency arsip. Selanjutnya dilakukan evaluasi melalui wawancara dengan perangkat desa dan didapatkan bahwa program pelatihan dan pendampingan ini dapat diterima baik oleh perangkat desa dan masyarakat. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan ini adalah pelatihan emergency management arsip dibutuhkan oleh perangkat desa dalam mencegah bencana kearsipan.Paseban Village, located in Jember Regency, is a disaster-prone area for tsunamis, floods, tornadoes, earthquakes, fires, coastal erosion, human negligence, and social disasters. The potential disasters in Paseban Village can also impact the archives management of the Paseban Village Government. The purpose of this activity is to make village officials maintain the ability to manage archives through archive emergency management with the help of an application. Implementing this activity is through providing material using lecturing and training. Implementation of this training takes one month in the village. The participants in this training included village heads and village officials, BUMDES representatives, BPD representatives, representatives of farmer and fisherman groups, school archive managers, PKK, and the Paseban village community. After being given training, the village officials received assistance from the community service team. The result of this activity is that village officials can use the SIAMIS application to manage emergency archives. Furthermore, this activity gets evaluated by the participant through interviews. Based on the interview, it concluded that the training and mentoring program was acceptable to both village officials and the community. This activity concludes that village officials need emergency management of archives training to prevent archival disasters.

Abstract

Learning can run well with an interest in learning for students. Based on this, researchers found problems at SMK NEGERI 11 MALANG. One of the problems encountered was the low interest in learning for class X – DKV students in the Basic Computer Graphics subject. Therefore, the Basic Computer Graphic E-module is here to provide a solution to this problem. The development of this E- module uses the ADDIE method which consists of five stages (analyze, design, development, implementation and evaluation). Data collection was carried out using structured interview techniques, literature studies and filling out questionnaires (pre-E-module and post-E-module). Tests carried out include testing the feasibility of the E-module and testing the increase in student learning interest. Questionnaire calculations were carried out using a Likert scale, with a scale of 1-4. Based on the tests carried out by the E-module, the results of the eligibility percentage were 70% (Eligible) by material experts, 79.16% (Decent) by media experts, 88.3% (Very Feasible) by media eligibility experts and 84.19% (Very Worthy) by users. Furthermore, the percentage of students' interest in learning obtained an increase of 66.65% with a percentage of interest in learning before the E-module of 12.7% (Very Poor) and after using the E-module of 79.35% (Good). So it can be concluded that the E-module can be considered feasible and able to increase student learning interest.
