Abstract

Kakawin Arjuna Wiwaha tells of Sang Arjuna's marriage to a female companion who has a woman's role and position. Diah Supraba has an angel who is also implied in Kakawin Arjuna Wiwaha, who have their respective roles and positions that inspire women in the era of globalization. The purpose of this study was to analyze the religious values ​​contained in kakawin arjuna wiwaha that can be applied by women. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The data collection technique in this research is a literature study on Kakawin Arjunawiwāha which consists of 36 pupuh, 354 stanzas and 24 kinds of metres. This Kakawin was written by Mpu Kanwa during the reign of King Airlangga (1019-1042) between 1028 and 1035 AD. This study describes the religious values ​​shown by women in Arjuna Wiwaha's kakawin, namely 1) Purity (sivam), a woman is obliged has purity both physically and spiritually in her like a Goddess. 2) A woman who has a strong patience is Diah Suprabha, ordered by Hyang Indra to investigate the secret of the power of a powerful giant named Niwatakawaca, with full devotion to carry out the task at hand with great patience; 3) Diah Tilotama's love is so great and sincere, it can be seen from the restlessness of her heart seeing her husband who is upset and trying to comfort his husband's heart; 4) The nymphs are verydevoted/ obedient to everything that is ordered by Lord Indra 5) The nymphs (Diah Suprabha) are loyal to the king of heaven, so that all orders are never rejected even though they have to sacrifice their bodies 6) The angel who is most seen making sacrifices is Diah Suprabha who was willing to sacrifice himself to go directly to the enemy from Indraloka who was the most feared, namely Niwatakawaca. Kakawin Arjuna Wiwaha as a guide and learning for women to become strong women.

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this study was to find the role of magibung in maintaining community relationships. The implementation of magibung in the belief system is one form of local wisdom in the middle of the Hindu community, especially in Bali. Magibung which is supported by the community through religious ceremonies is one way to strengthen relationships in the Hindu community. It does not only has an impact on the successful implementation of religious ceremonies but also unity and foster "meyama braya" attitude meyama braya.Keywords : Tradition, Local Wisdom, and relationship in Hindu community AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan peranan kearifan lokal magibung dalam menjaga persaudaraan masyarakat. Pelaksanaan tradisi magibung pada sistem kepercayaan merupakan salah satu bentuk kearifan lokal di tengah masyarakat Hindu khususnya di Bali. Tradisi magibung yang didukung oleh masyarakat melalui kegiatan upacara keagamaan merupakan salah satu jalan untuk mempererat persaudaraan masyarakat Hindu. Hal ini tidak hanya berdampak pada suksesnya pelaksanaan upacara keagamaan, tetapi juga persatuan dan menumbuhkan sikap meyama braya.Kata Kunci : Tradisi, Kearifan Lokal, dan Persaudaraan Umat Hindu

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has had an impact on all areas of life, including education. The coronavirus outbreak has hampered face-to-face learning activities. The learning system is carried out remotely (online) by utilizing information technology. Although there are still many obstacles experienced by both students and educators. On the other hand, learning during this pandemic provides an extraordinary experience for students and educators. Online learning activities insert a sense of dissatisfaction for teachers in distributing material because the implementation of online learning places more emphasis on assignments. Coupled with the lack of interest and motivation to learn from students to read the material, where the learning media through WhatsApp groups is dominated by text messages that cause student learning outcomes to decline.

Abstract

Bali with a myriad of traditions and cultures that have been passed down from generation to generation. The development of villages and areas will affect the sustainability and culture. An example is the Ngerebeg Tradition in Tegallalang Village. The uniqueness of this tradition is that participants who follow the Ngerebeg Tradition are required to color their bodies with colorful paints, this is what distinguishes this tradition from other traditions. The problems that will be discussed include (1) How is the implementation of the Ngerebeg Tradition in Tegallalang Village, Tegallalang District, Gianyar Regency in the modern era (2) What are the implications of the Ngerebeg Tradition in applying the Tri Hita Karana teachings in Tegallalang Village, Tegallalang District, Gianyar Regency in the modern era (3) What values ​​are contained in the Ngerebeg Tradition in Tegallalang Village, Tegallalang District, Gianyar Regency. The theory used to analyze the problem is the religious theory of Koentjaraningrat, the structural functional theory of Talcott Parsons, the theory of value from Tarigan. The method used for data collection in this study is the technique of observation, interviews, documentation studies, document recording techniques. The data that has been collected was analyzed using a qualitative descriptive analysis method with steps of data reduction, data presentation, inference and verification. Based on the data analysis carried out, the results obtained: The implementation of the Ngerebeg Tradition is still carried out today due to history, The existence of the Ngerebeg Tradition began with the construction of the Duur Bingin Temple by Tjokorda Made during the war with the Dalem Sukawati kingdom. Supported by 11 families, at that time there was a ceremony at Duur Bingin Temple and residents of nunas ica asked wong samar to help with his work, until now the Ngerebeg tradition is held to honor wong samar. The Ngerebeg tradition is still carried out with the aim of neutralizing the environment in Tegallalang Village. The series of Ngerebeg traditions begins with the preparation stage and continues with the peak of the Ngerebeg tradition. The implication of the Ngerebeg Tradition is to establish a harmonious relationship with God Almighty, to establish a harmonious relationship with the natural environment in Tegallalang Village, to establish a harmonious relationship with fellow Tegallalang Village community.
