Abstract

President Jokowi as the supreme leader of the Republic of Indonesia on January 13, 2021, has set an example and at the same time proved his promise to make himself the first person to be injected with the Covid-19 Sinovac vaccine. Pastor leadership which is basically aimed at serving, caring for and fulfilling the needs of the congregation as sheep that have been entrusted by God is shifting direction and starting to lose its meaning. Because leadership has begun to be used as a leader's "prestige" and a means to gain personal gain, so that pastoral leadership is no longer seen as a trust and mandate from God, but becomes a demand to be served and ignores the role models that are the responsibility of those they lead. It is no longer a blessing, but a stumbling block instead. This study uses descriptive qualitative methods and literature analysis, with the aim of analyzing the crisis of exemplary church leadership and the role of the pastor as church leader based on 1 Peter 5: 2-4. Collecting data through sources of books, journals, interviews, digital articles, and other documents related to the issues being studied. The results of the research are: First, pastors as church leaders need to realize that their leadership is a trust and a mandate from God. Second, the leadership quality of pastors must be superior to leadership in general by providing an example through volunteerism and self-dedication in serving the congregation they lead. Third, there is eternal reward for the shepherd who leads by example.

Abstract

Tujuan penulisan ini hendak menganalisa apa hubungan hukum Allah atau hukum Taurat dengan kasih karunia orang percaya di masa kini. Hukum Allah yang biasa diketahui sebagai Taurat di dalam Kitab Perjanjian Lama sering kali menjadi objek kesalahpahaman dalam relevansinya di kalangan orang percaya di masa kini, sehingga menjadi persoalan tersendiri dikarenakan menurut Kitab Perjanjian Baru, orang yang sudah percaya hidup di bawah kasih karunia dan tidak lagi di bawah hukum Taurat. Pendekatan dalam penulisan ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif dan literatur research. Teknik yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data adalah melalui Alkitab dan sumber buku lain, berbagai jurnal, juga melalui dokumen-dokumen yang mempunyai hubungan dengan masalah yang menjadi objek kajian. Hasilnya: Hukum Taurat sebagai Hukum Allah merupakan sekedar cermin bagi setiap orang akan ketidaklayakannya di hadapan Allah karena kondisinya yang berdosa, sehingga dengan demikian menimbulkan kesadaran bahwa setiap orang berdosa membutuhkan kasih karunia Allah untuk memperoleh pembenaran dan kelayakan di hadapan Allah melalui iman kepada pribadi Yesus Kristus. Kesimpulannya, orang percaya di masa kini layak dan benar di hadapan Allah semata-mata oleh karena kasih karunia di dalam Yesus Kristus dan bukan karena ketaatan akan Hukum Taurat.

Abstract

This study aims to reflect on suffering in the context of the Covid-19 Pandemic for believers based on Jeremiah 29:11 by choosing to use a descriptive qualitative method approach and literature analysis, collecting data through book sources including the Bible, some journals and various digital articles, as well as documents. They are related to the topic under study. The crisis of the Covid-19 pandemic has resulted in great anxiety, doubt, despair, depression and even death among all people, including believers. The presence of a pandemic that never ends is a reality and a threat that must be faced every day by everyone without exception. The result: First, believers must remain with all their heart, soul and body, trusting God's design and faithfulness in any condition, including in the process of suffering, because they believe God is sovereign over His plan. Second, believers must remain aware that God's purpose is related to the salvation of His people, so believers need and must view suffering from God's point of view.

Abstract

The experiential learning method is a model of teaching and learning process that can make students build their knowledge and skills with experiences gained directly. The experiential learning method can provide opportunities for students to decide on experiences that can be one of the focuses in developing skills and also improving the talents they have. This study aims to find out about experiential learning methods carried out in social life to improve the academics of female students at the Islamic Boarding School. The research method used is the descriptive analysis method by approaching the qualitative side. The research subjects in this research process are students at the Islamic Boarding School. Data were collected by conducting participant observation of the learning method in the classroom and also the activities of students around the boarding school. Interviews, questionnaires, and documentation were also conducted as a way to support the data needed in the research process. The results of this study present that the experiential learning method in the social and academic life of students in Islamic Boarding Schools related to the learning process and student activities is carried out quite well with various kinds of efforts made by the Islamic Boarding Schools. However, there are still some activities that require attention and attention.

Abstract

Baptist and Lutheran are Christian teachings that have developed to date. Mark 16:16 is one of the Bible verses that is often used to understand the fandango of salvation in Christianity. In this research, a comparison and analysis of Baptist and Lutheran Christian interpretations of this chapter are carried out, and how this influences their view of salvation. This research will discuss how Baptist and Lutheran Christian teachings integrate Mark 16:16 into their teachings about salvation by discussing Baptist Christian teachings of understanding salvation through sanctification and Lutheran teachings of understanding salvation through faith. This study also discusses how these teachings influence the views of each teaching about sin, repentance, and the hope of salvation. By using qualitative methods with objective analysis and legitimate sources, the implications of the differences between Baptist and Lutheran Christian teachings are identified for society. This study discusses the differences in these teachings that affect relations between religions and tolerance for differences. The purpose of this research is to help readers understand the differences between Baptist and Lutheran Christian teachings and how this affects their views of salvation. It is hoped that this research can help readers understand differences in teachings and promote understanding and tolerance among Christian theologies. Therefore, this research contributes to the development of Christian theology and inter-religious discussion
