Abstract

Abstract. Background. Covid-19 is a health problem in a growing world. On January 30, 2020, WHO designated Covid-19 as a Public Health Emergency of International Concern (PHEIC) or a public health emergency that is troubling the world. Preventive efforts are needed to deal with the Covid 19 pandemic. Objective. To investigated whether there is an effect of using WhatsApp social media on Covid 19 prevention behavior. Method. The approach used was pre-experimental with pre-post test without control group. The data collection technique uses the Google Play Store and online questionnaires. The sample taken was 55 people, which is the minimum sample size based on the conservative assumption that 50% of second semester students have good behavior with a 5% error margin and 95% confidence interval. The analysis technique used is the paired T test. Result. The results showed that the mean value before treatment was 31.00 (7.437) and after treatment was 35.81 (6.003) (Table 5) and the significance was p = 0.000 (p <0.05). Conclusion. There is an effect of Whatsapp Reminder on Covid-19 Prevention Behavior. Keyword : WhatsApp Reminder, Behavior, Covid-19 Prevention

Abstract

Supraspinatus tendinitis is inflammation of the supraspinatus tendon. The purpose of riset is to understand the implementation of physiotherapy in reducing pain, reducing muscle spasm, improving muscle strength, increase range of motion and increase the ability of functional activityin the supraspinatus tendinitis condition with ultrasound modality, myofacial release and exercise therapy. This research was carried out in Bendan District Hospital Pekalongan with descriptive analytic methods. Once done six times therapy, results obtained the presence of pain reduction i.e. silent pain T1 = 1 at the T6 = 0, tenderness T1 = 3 T6 = 1, pain motion T1 = 7 at T6 = 3, decrease muscle spasm T1 = 1 at the T6 = 0. The increased range of motion in the active movement. Increasing the scope of the joint motion on the active and passive movement. On increasing muscle strength, namely the abductor muscles T1 = 3 at T6 = 5. Improving the ability of functional activity, i.e.: T1 = 63,07 at T6 = 40,76. Interventions physiotherapy using ultrasound modality, myofacial release and exercise therapy can help reduce the problems that arise on the condition of the supraspinatus tendinitis

Abstract

Background: Frozen shoulder is a pain in shoulders which conduces limitedness of shoulder joint motion. Tendinitis in M.Rotator Cuff, is an inflammation occured in  muscle tendons fused in Rotator Cuff. Physiotherapy problematics of Frozen Shoulder are the existence of pain, the limitedness of joint motion, the decline of muscle strength, and the interference of functional activity. Physiotherapy examination includes examining pain with Verbal Descriptive Scale (VDS), examination of Limited Range Of Motion with Goneometer, examination of muscle strength with Manual Muscle Testing (MMT), and inspection of daily functional activities with the Shoulder Pain And Disability Index (SPADI) index. In this case, the chosen technology to resolve these problems are by using the modality of Short Wave Diathermy (SWD), Active Resisted Exercise and Codman Pendular Exercise.Objective: To know the effect of Physiotherapy Management Frozen Shoulder e.c Tendinitis Muscle Rotator Cuff conditions with Short Wave Diathermy (SWD), Active Resisted Exercise and Codman Pendular Exercise.Methods: This research was done in RSUD Kraton Pekalongan with analytic descriptive research design. Research subject in this Scientific Writing was a patient with Frozen Shoulder condition e.c. Tendinitis M.Rotator Cuff who was given physiotherapy interventions with the modality of Short Wave Diathermy (SWD), Active Resisted Exercise and Codman Pendular Exercise. Method of data collection and data analysis of this research were by using Autoanamnesis method. Research instruments consisted of the examination of pain, joint motion, muscle strength, and potentiality of functional activity.Result: After four times in therapy, the researcher got four result. They are there was a decline of force pain in T3 = 3 and motion pain in T2 = 2, there was an enhancement of joint motion in T3 and T4 in flexion movement, abduction, exorotation and endorotation of the left shoulder to active and passive movement, there was an enhancement of muscle strength in T3 = Muscle group exorotator and endorotator, and there was an enhancement of functional activity in T3.Conclution: a physiotherapy intervention with device modality and therapeutic exercise modality of can help reduce the problems arising on the conditions of Frozen Shoulder.Keywords : Frozen Shoulder e.c Tendinitis M.Rotator Cuff, Short Wave Diathermy (SWD), Active Resisted Exercise and Codman Pendular Exercise, Autoanamnesis Method, Indeks SPADI (Shoulder Pain And Disability Index)

Abstract

Hernia Nucleus Pulposus (HNP) is a disease where the part of the nucleus is made of a gel-shaped material in the spinal cord coming out of the annulus resulting in suppression or narrowing of the spinal nerves and causing pain. Physiotherapy problems are the presence of pain, spasm, limited range of joint motion, decreased muscle strength and decreased functional activity. To determine the effect of Physiotherapy Management on the condition of HNP with modalities traction and mc kenzie exercise. The study was conducted at the Rso Prof Dr. R. Soeharso Surakarta with descriptive analytic research design. Based on the therapy, the following results were obtained: (1) The decrease in silent pain T1=2 to T4=0, tenderness T1= 4 to T4= 2, motion pain T1=6 to T4=3 (2) The decrease in spasm at T4 = 0, ( 3) There is an increase in the scope of motion of trunk joint flexion T1=4cm to T4=14cm, extension T1 = 3cm to T4 = 6cm, lateral flexi dextra T1 =14cm to T4 =18cm, lateral flexi left T1 = 12cm to T4 = 16cm and rotation T1 = 35°-0°-35° to T4 =45°-0°-45° (4) There is an increase in trunk muscle strength, flexor T1=4 becomes T4=5, extensor T1= 4 becomes T4 =4+, Lateral Flexor T1=4 becomes T4=5, and rotator T1 = 4 becomes T4=5 (5) There is a decrease in disability T1=46% to T4=20%. Physiotherapy interventions with modalities traction and mc. Kenzie exercise can reduce problems arising in the condition of the HNP.

Abstract

Hernia Nucleus Pulposus (HNP) is a disorder that involves rupture of the annulus pulposus (outer ring of the disc) so that the nucleus pulposus protrudes (hernias) and compresses the spinal nerve root, causing pain and possibly neurologic deficits. Most occur between L4 and L5, compressing the L5 nerve root or between L5 and S1, pressing the S1 nerve root. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Physiotherapy Management on Lumbar Hernia Nucleus Pulposus (HNP) with Shortwave Diathermy (SWD), Traction and Mc. Kenzie Exercise. The study was conducted at Bendan Hospital, Pekalongan City with descriptive analytic with Hernia Nucleus Pulposus (HNP). Methods of collecting research data using auto anamnesis and physical examination. The research instruments consisted of examining pain with a visuale analogue scale (VAS), muscle spasm with palpation, muscle strength with manual muscle testing (MMT), joint range of motion with a goniometer and midline and functional activity with a oswestry disability index (ODI). After therapy 1 to therapy 4 there was a decrease in pain from T1 = silent pain 2, tenderness 5 and motion pain 7 to T4 = silent pain 0, tenderness 1 and motion pain 4. Decreased muscle spasm T1 = 1 to T4 = 0. Increased muscle strength T1 = flexor 3, extensor 3, lateral flexor dextra 3, lateral flexor sinistra 3 and rotator 4 to T4 = flexor 4, extensor 4, lateral flexor dextra 4, lateral flexor sinistra 4, rotator dextra 5, rotator sinistra 5. Increased range of motion the joint from T1 = 44 cm flexion, 34 cm extension, 48 cm lateral flexion dextra, 48 cm lateral flexion sinistra, 45⁰ rotation dextra, 45⁰ rotation sinistra. Increased functional activity from T1 = 40% (moderate disability) to T4 = 30% (moderate disability). The conclusion of this research is giving Shortwave Diathermy (SWD), Traction and Mc. Kenzie Exercise can reduce pain, reduce muscle spasm, increase muscle strength, increase joint range of motion and increase functional activity.

Abstract

Plantar fascitis is heel pain caused by inflammation or irritation of the plantar fascia. Plantar fascitis is characterized by complaints of pain in the heel during the first step in the morning, when walking pain is usually reduced. Signs and symptoms that arise in the condition of Plantar Facitis are the presence of tenderness, the presence of motion pain, the presence of oedem, a disturbance of functional activity (Assad et al, 2016).In this case the technology was chosen to overcome the above problems by using infra merah modalities, ultrasound, friction massage, active stretching . This research was conducted at Bendan Hospital in Pekalongan City with a descriptive analytic research design. The research subjects in Scientific Writing are patients with Plantar facitis conditions who will be given physiotherapy intervention with infra merah modalities, ultrasound, friction massage, active stretching . Methods of data collection and data analysis using the Autoanamnesis method. The research instrument consisted of examining Pain with VAS, spasm with palpation, edema with antopometry and Functional Activity Ability with the Foot Funtional Index.The results after the 1st treatment until the fourth therapy there was a decrease in pain from T1 silent pain 0, motion pain 3, tenderness 4 to T4 to silent pain 0, motion pain 1, tenderness 3, There was a decrease in muscle spasm from T1 = 1 to T4 becomes 0, there is a decrease in oedem from the left T1 25cm right 24cm to T4 becomes the left T1 24cm dektra 24cm. There is an increase in fungional activity in T3.The conclusion of this study is that the modalities of physiotherapy with infra merah, ultrasound, friction massage, active stretching  can help reduce the problems that arise in the condition of Plantar Facitis.

Abstract

De Quervain syndrome is a painful problem which obtained by an inflammation at tendons on wrist area  exactly  at  the  thumb  area  (Ilyass,  2008).The  problems  that  will  occure  on  De  Quervain syndrome is pain, edema, spasm,  limitation  of ROM, decreased  muscle  strength and decreased of functional  ability.  The  examination  that  conducted  are  measurement  of  pain  with  VAS measurement of (Visual Analogue Scale), edema with anthropometry, Spasms by palpation, ROM with  gonemeter,  muscle  strength  by  MMT  (Manual  Muscle  Testing)  and  functional  ability  with ADL index (Activity Daily  Living). In this  case to solve the problems are with  Ultrasound (US),  Transcutaneous  Electrical  Nerve  Stimulation (TENS)  and  exercise  therapy,  after  conducted physiotherapy  management  as  much  as  six  times  obtained  results  among  decreased  of  pain, decreased of edema, decreased of spasm, increased ROM, increased muscle strength and increased of functional ability .Keywords :De Quervain syndrome, Ultrasound, TENS, Aktive movement

Abstract

Aortic insufficiency is a condition where the valve can not close completely so that when blood flow to part of diastole the left ventricle. Total amount of blood flow was 50 cc of the contents of sekuncup. Thus if the contents sekuncup 70 cc and 30 cc flowing again, the circulation remained normal for the ventricle must pump 100 cc of blood (70 cc to 30 cc circulation is flowing again). So the left ventricle has to work more normally resulting  in dilatation and hypertrophy.  This resulted  in shortness of  breath,  decreased activity or limited activity,  heavy dependence in performing everyday  activities,  to provide effective and efficient handling,  then conducted an examination method of examination shortness of  breath with Exertion scale,  the  noise  with auscultation.  Things that  can help to reduce the problems  mentioned  above can  be  done by the  method of Breathing Exercise, exercise therapy, early mobilization.  The  purpose of these modalities is to reduce shortness of breath, prevent the complications of bed rest is pneumonia, improving the ability of heart function and increase the tolerance ability of functional activity and restore the  function  of physiological, psychosocial,  work and get back to optimal can tolerate daily activities.

Abstract

Nyeri punggung bawah  miogenik berhubungan dengan  stress / strain otot-otot punggung, tendon dan  ligamen  yang  biasanya  ada  bila  melakukan  aktivitas  sehari-hari  secara  berlebihan,  seperti duduk  lama.  Nyeri  bersifat  tumpul,  intensitas  bervariasi  seringkali  menjadi  kronik,  dapat terlokalisir  atau  meluas  sekitar  glutea.  Nyeri  ini  tidak  disertai  parestesi,  defisit  neurologi.  Bila batuk atau bersin nyeri tidak menjalar ke tungkai.Masalah nyeri pinggang yang timbul akibat lama dan sikap duduk menjadi fenomena yang sering terjadi pada mahasiswa saat ini. Lamanya jumlah jam  kuliah  yang  harus  diikuti  mahasiswa  mengakibatkan  aktivitas  mahasiswa  lebih  banyak dihabiskan  dengan  duduk  dibangku  kuliah  saat  mengikuti  proses  perkuliahan.  Penelitian  ini bertujuan  untuk  mengetahui  apakah  ada  hubungan  lama  dan  sikap  duduk  perkuliahan  terhadap keluhan nyeri punggung miogenik pada mahasiswa. Desain penelitian yang dipakai adalah desain korelasi  dengan  jumlah  sampel  54  orang.  Hasil  analisis  data  statistic  parametric  dengan  metode Correlasi  Bivariat  dengan  bantuan  komputer  Program  SPSS  Versi  10    diperoleh  hasil  output terlihat bahwa besar hubungan atau koefisien korelasi (r) antara lama dan sikap duduk perkiliahan terhadap keluhan nyeri punggung bawah miogenik adalah 0,600 dengan nilai probabilitas = 0,000 <  0,05  maka  H0  ditolak  yang  berarti  bahwa  ada  hubungan  lama  dan  sikap  duduk  perkuliahan terhadap  keluhan  nyeri  punggung  bawah  miogenik  pada  mahasiswa.  Sedangkan  besarnya pengaruh dihitung dari koefisien determinasi (r2) yaitu sebesar 0,360 (0,745 x 0,745) atau sebesar 36%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada hubungan yang signifikan antara lama dan sikap duduk terhadap keluhan nyeri punggung miogenik pada mahasiswa. Kata Kunci : Duduk, Nyeri Punggung Bawah Miogenik, Mahasiswa

Abstract

Background: Osteoarthritis is a chronic joint disorder accompanied by bone and joint damage, in the form of progressive disintegration and softening followed by increased growth of the bone edge and cartilage of the knee joint (osteophytes) and fibrosis in the capsule of the knee joint. spasm, limited scope of joint motion, muscle weakness and decreased functional activity. Examination of physiotherapy includes examination of pain with the Visual Analogue Scale, spasm with palpation, the scope of motion of the joint with the goneometer, muscle weakness with Manual Muscle Testing, and functional activity with the Womac index.             Objective: To determine the effect of Physiotherapy Management on the conditions of Osteoarthritis of the Knee Billateral with the modalities of TENS, LASER and Exercise Therapy.             Method: This study was conducted at Bendan Pekalongan Hospital with a descriptive analytic research design. The research subjects in this scientific paper are patients with billateral osteoarthritisitis with the modalities of TENS, LASER and Exercise Therapy. The method of data collection is the data analysis of this study using the autoanamnesis method, the research instrument is pain examination, spasm, joint motion range, muscle strength and functional activity              Results: Based on the therapy carried out 5 times the following results were obtained: (1) there was a decrease in pain from T1 = 4 to T5 = 2 (2) there was a decrease in spasm from T1 = 1 to T5 = 0 (3) there was an increase in knee flexion ROM from T1 = 100 ° to T5 = 120 ° (4) there is an increase in muscle strength from T1 = 4 to T5 = 5 (5) there is an increase in daily functional activities.            Conclusion: Physiotherapy interventions with modalities of TENS, LASER and Exercise Therapy can reduce problems that arise in the condition of the Knee Billateral Osteoarthritis.
