Abstract

This study aim to knowing the characteristics of comics learning media in probability matter were valid, practical and have potential effects. This study showed that the characteristic of comics learning media in probability matter was valid that 1) according to the curriculum 2013; 2) according with the concept and definition of probability in class VIII; 3) the material in comic according with the level of students in class VIII; 4) using context that understood by students; 5) the material clustered, sequenced and easy to use; 6) has a simple design and communicative; 7) the color composition was not excessive; 8) commands and instructions in comics were easy to understand; and 9) the phrased according with EYD. The characteristic of comics learning media in probability matter was practical that 1) easy to use, understandable and easy to carry everywhere; 2) can help students understanding the material; and 3) attracting students to learn mathematics. The comics learning media have a potential effect to make the students motivated and improve the ability of students’ knowlegde seen from the observations and the results of a questionnaire to students. Based on observations obtained 90% of students showed an attitude of curiosity and 56,67% of students showed interest in the usefulness of mathematics. Based on the result of questionnaires, 100% of students expressed interest in learning to use comics learning media in probability matter. Based on students attitude assessment, 91,1% of students earn a good rating. From the skills assessment, 96,67% of students earn a good rating and for students knowledge assessment, 91,67% of students earn good rating.

Abstract

This study was carried out to test the validity of math problems in Al-Hijrah High School 10th grade students with a maximum age of 15 year. The goal of this study was to obtain the most recent PISA type math questions in the context of Covid-19 with an accurate level of validity as determined by expert review and one-to-one. The trial was conducted on three students with different abilities in the classroom while still applying health protocols. This research was conducted through a development method that was divided into two stages, namely preliminary and formative evaluation, which included self-evaluation and prototyping (expert review and one-to-one). This research produces instrumen kits, namely grids, scoring rubrics, question cards and of course the prototype 2 question sets that are feasible to use. Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif untuk menganalisis kesalahan pemahaman konsep peserta didik dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal integral lipat dua pada koordinat polar. Tiga puluh peserta didik yang mengambil mata kuliah kalkulus peubah banyak menjadi subjek dalam penelitian ini. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan tes dan dokumentasi. Hasil jawaban tes peserta didik serta dokumentasi hasil pengerjaan peserta didik, dikoreksi, dianalisis berdasarkan indikator pemahaman konsep dan didisplay data. Analisis kesalahan jawaban peserta didik berdasarkan indikator pemahaman konsep yakni (1) menyatakan ulang konsep integral. (2) merepresentasikan konsep ke bentuk lain, (3) memilih dan menggunakan prosedur serta (4) menggunakan konsep dan algoritma pemecahan masalah. Dalam menyatakan ulang konsep integral peserta didik langsung menggunakan batas atas dan batas bawah integrasi tanpa menuliskan terlebih dahulu hasil pengintegralan. Kesalahan merepresentasikan fungsi ke grafik adalah, fungsi langsung disketsakan tanpa membuat table, memplot titik dan membuat kurva. Kesalahan dalam memilih dan menggunakan prosedur dan penggunaan algoritma pemecahan masalah dikarenakan kurangnya pengetahuan awal peserta didik mengenai materi prasyarat yakni, integral trigonometri dan fungsi trigonometri.

Abstract

Change of thinking starting from the references used to new knowledge that will be taught and learned. In every design or learning process there will definitely be a didactic transposition process. This research is a phenomenological research that explains what didactic transpositions occurred when designing the arithmetic learning vlog script in the Tijarah context which was prepared by one of the students at UIN Raden Fatah Palembang. The data used is in the form of learning resources, results of expert discussions and 4 drafts of arithmetic learning vlog scripts in the Tijarah context. All data is explained and combined into a table that is easier to understand. Data collection took the form of group discussions and also portfolio analysis carried out on learning vlog scripts. From the results of the analysis, it was found that didactic transposition occurred in the preparation of the Arithmetic learning vlog script in the Tijarah context, which was seen from 1) changes in context and the problems raised; 2) the form of constructivist learning and 3) the relationship between learning and the Tijarah context. This shows that in the process of preparing open materials, didactic transposition can occur.
