Abstract

This research aims at (1)producing a valid and practical LKS (Student Worksheet) in discovery learning model in two circles intersection material in class XI, and (2) to find out the potential effect toward the learning outcomes from the development of LKS with discovery learning model in two circles intersections material in class XI MIA. The design ofthis research is a developmental study. The subjects of this research were 33 students of XI MIA 1 SMA N 1 Indralaya in academic year 2015/2016. The data collecting technique used were observation, test, and interview. The result of the researches were : (1) This research produced a valid and practical LKS with discovery learning model in two circles intersections material in class XI MIA withsome characteristics such as, (a) Contain the operational steps of discovery learning model, (b) Help students in finding the concept of two circles intersections model. (c) Make students active in learning. Being valid can be seen from the results of validator assessment, where the validator comments on the first prototype of LKS from content, construct, and language. Being practical can be seen from the results of  small group try out, in which it was based on analysis of the answer sheets of students, it was found that students were able to complete each steps there and students’ comments obtained from the sheets that stated the LKS given was easy to be done by students. (2) The developed LKS consisted of potential effect toward the learning outcomes from cognitive (knowledge), affective (attitude), and psychomotor (skill). In the cognitive domain 81.81% of students got score > 65, in the affective domain all of the students had shown an attitude of honesty and responsiveness shown by observations during LKS usage, as well as in the of psychomotor domain skills all of students had good skill that seen from the result of students performance.

Abstract

The objective of this study was to produce valid and practical PISA-like mathematics problems on the content of uncertainty and data using football and table tennis contexts in the 2018 Asian Games. This study also aimed to find out the potential effect of the problems on the tenth-grade students’ mathematical literacy capability of the senior high school. This study was a design research with the type of development studies consisting of two stages, the preliminary and the formative evaluation. We obtained the data using walk-through, document, observation, interview, and test methods. We assessed the validity of the problems by using the validator assessment results towards the content, constructs, and language of the problems and also from the comments/suggestions of the students in one-to-one phase on the clarity/readability of the problems. The indicator of the problems’ practicality was reflected when the students were able to understand the problems well and it was shown in the small group phase. The answers of 33 students involved in the field test showed that the problems had the potential effect, showing the capability of communication and representation. On the problem with football context, six students answered with communication capability and three students with representation capability. On the problem with table tennis context, twenty students answered with communication capability, while five students with representation capability.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan*Lembar Kerja Siswa*berbasis Problem Based Learning yang valid, praktis, dan efektif. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada siswa kelas VIII SMPN 2 Teluk Bayur Prosedur pengembangan yang digunakan mengikuti model pengembangan ADDIE yaitu tahap analisis (analyze), tahap perencanaan (design), tahap*pengembangan (development), tahap*implementasi (implementation), dan tahap evaluasi (evaluation).  Data kevalidan produk diperoleh berdasarkan lembar validasi dan lembar saran. Data*kepraktisan terdiri dari data penilaian kepraktisan LKPD yang dianalisis dengan mengkonversikan skor menjadi data kualitatif skala empat. Data keefektifan dianalisis dari hasil belajar siswa*yang ditentukan berdasarkan*penilaian absolut. Hasil penelitian ini adalah : (1) berdasarkan penilaian dari validator, LKPD yang*dikembangkan peneliti telah memenuhi kategori valid; (2) berdasarkan pengolahan angket respon siswa yang memperoleh*jumlah rata-rata semua komponen sebesar 37,45 dan rata-rata semua*komponen 3, 74 telah mencapai kriteria praktis; (3) berdasarkan hasil analisis*tes hasil evaluasi siswa dimana telah*memperoleh persentase ketuntasan 79,16%, sehingga dapat disimpulkan*bahwa LKPD ini*efektif digunakan.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk menghasilkan soal matematika tipe PISA yang valid dan praktis, serta memiliki efek potensial terhadap kemampuan literasi matematis dengan menggunakan Konteks Pencak Silat. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas X SMA. Metodologi pada penelitian ini yaitu design research dengan tipe development study, dengan 2 tahap yaitu preliminary dan tahap formative evaluation. Pada tahap formative evaluation meliputi one-to-one, expert review, small group, dan field test. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, walkthrough, dokumen, wawancara, dan tes. Penelitian yang dilakukan menghasilkan soal yang valid dan praktis serta memiliki efek potensial terhadap kemampuan literasi matematis. Valid terlihat dari hasil penilaian expert yang mereview dari segi konten, konstruk, dan bahasa serta pengerjaan siswa pada tahap one-to-one. Praktis terlihat dari pengerjaan siswa tahap small group yang siswa dapat memahami maksud atau bahasa soal. Kemudian dari jawaban siswa pada tahap field test soal memiliki efek potensial yaitu memunculkan kemampuan representasi dan kemampuan menggunakan bahasa dan operasi simbolis, formal dan teknis

Abstract

Tujuan dilakukan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Quantum Learning terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa di SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Muara Padang dengan Jenis penelitian adalah eksperimen dan desain penelitian “posttest-only control group design”. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa Kelas X SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Muara Padang dengan dua kelas X yang dijadikan sebagai sampel peneltian berjumlah 40 orang. Variabel yang digunakan berupa variabel independen dan variabel dependen. Teknik pengumpulan Data menggunakan tes, kemudian pengujian hipotesisi digunakan uji-t pihak kanan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian pada kelas eksperimen didapat nilai rata-rata 71,5 dan kelas kontrol 64,7. Sehingga hasil analisis dan kesimpulan didapatkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Quantum Learning terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa di SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Muara Padang.

Abstract

Riset ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan media pembelajaran yang valid dan praktis terhadap hasil belajar. Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua tahapan, yaitu tahap preliminary dan tahap prototyping. Tahap preliminary terdiri dari tahap persiapan dan pendesainan, sedangkan tahap prototyping menggunakan desain penelitian Tessmer terdiri dari evaluasi formatif yang meliputi self evaluation, one-to-one, expert review. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan meliputi angket, wawancara, dokumentasi. Kevalidan media diperoleh berdasarkan hasil validasi yang telah dilakukan dengan validator pada tahapan expert review. Validator menyimpulkaan bahwa media pembelajaran yang di kembangkan ini telah baik dari segi konten, desain, kualitas teknis dan menyatakan layak untuk diujicobakan. Kepraktisan dari media dinilai dari hasil angket respon siswa dan wawancara pada tahap one-to-one. Siswa menyatakan bahwa media mudah digunakan, membantu siswa untuk menguasai materi kekongruenan dan kesebangunan, dan tertarik untuk menggunakan media pembelajaran.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze mathematical problem solving abilities in mathematics learning based on the personality types of students. The research method used in this study is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The subjects of this study were 6 students of SMP Tunas Teladan Palembang in the odd semester of the 2021/2022 academic year. Subjects were taken using purposive sampling technique, based on the personality type of the students. Data analysis in this research is qualitative data analysis which consists of data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. From this study, it was concluded that: (1) students with extroverted personality type were able to meet problem solving indicators at the stage of understanding problems, planning and solving problems, but did not meet indicators at the re-examining stage (2) students with introverted personality types were able to fulfill all problem solving indicators at the stage of understanding the problem, making plans, solving problems and checking again.

Abstract

The development of android learning media becomes one of the alternatives in learning, especially in circle materials. The purpose of this research is to produce android-based learning media on valid and practical circle material. This type of research is development research with the ADDIE development model. The research subjects consisted of 17 students. This research data is obtained from questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. This research produces: (1) Learning media that are classified as valid based on validator comments and suggestions, (2) Learning media that are relatively practical based on the results of student comments and suggestions on questionnaires and interviews.
