Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model using the Ferris wheel on students' cognitive learning outcomes on the buffer solution. The form of research is a quasi-experimental design using the posttest only design method with non-equivalent groups. The sampling technique used purposive sampling technique. The population in this study were all students of class XI Mathematics and Natural Sciences, State High School 1 Lhokseumawe Year 2019/2020, totaling 294 students. With a research sample of 50 students. Data collection methods in the form of observation, interviews, and tests. Before conducting the research, the questions that will be used are first tested to a school that is equivalent to the place of research. The questions tested are viewed in terms of the level of problem difficulty, discriminatory power, validity, reliability, to test distractors. The results showed that there was a significant difference in the Experiment I class and the Experiment II class. Cognitive, shown from the average of the experimental class I was 85.37 while the experimental class II was 79.58. Cognitive results sig. (2-tailed) t-test for equality of means on equal variances assumed is 0.008 according to the existing criteria if the value of sig 0.05 then Ha is accepted. It was concluded that the use of the TGT model using the Ferris wheel had a positive effect on student learning outcomes in the material for the buffer solution for class XI MIA SMA Negeri 1 Lhokseumawe.

Abstract

Abstract: Analysis of Class XI High School Chemistry Textbooks on Hydrocarbon Compounds. This study is to analyze the concept label and the suitability of teaching materials to the 2013 curriculum on hydrocarbon materials. The research method is descriptive qualitative. Data collection time starts from September 2021. The research instrument is a Concept Analysis Table which is adjusted to the KD in the K13 Syllabus. The data analysis technique used is by observing the textbooks that will be used in K13. There are two books that will be analyzed in this research. The results of this study indicate that among the 42 types of concept labels in the hydrocarbon material, there are 37 types of concept labels in book A, 31 types of concept labels in book B, 26 types of concept labels which are the same in books A and B, 11 types of concept labels that are only found in book A, as well as 5 types of concept labels that are only found in book B.Keywords: Analysis, Hydrocarbons, Teaching Materials                                                                        Abstrak: Analisisa Buku Ajar Kimia SMA Kelas XI Pada Materi  Senyawa Hidrokarbon. Penelitian ini untuk menganalisa label konsep dan kesesuaian materi ajar terhadap kurikulum 2013 pada materi hidrokarbon. Metode penelitian adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Waktu Pengumpulan data dimulai dari September 2021. Instrumen penelitian adalah Tabel Analisis Konsep yang disesuaikan dengan KD pada Silabus K13.  Teknis analisis data yang dilakukan ialah dengan mengobservasi buku ajar yang akan digunakan pada K13. Terdapat dua buku yang akan dianalisis pada penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan diantara 42 jenis label konsep yang ada di pada materi hidrokarbon, terdapat 37 jenis label konsep yang ada di buku A, 31 jenis label konsep yang ada di buku B, 26 jenis label konsep yang sama dimiliki oleh buku A dan B, 11 jenis label konsep yang hanya ditemukan pada buku A, serta 5 jenis label konsep yang hanya terdapat di buku B.Kata Kunci:  Analisis, Hidrokarbon, Materi AjarDOI:10.23960/jppk.v10.i3.2021.10

Abstract

Abstract: This study is descriptive study with quantitative approach. Sample determination by proportional sampling. The investigated variables are student abilities, which are reflected in end-of-semester exam results in chemistry courses. In this study, experimental method was used as a means of data collection. The test instrument uses a two-part multiple-choice model with a total of 30 items and five answer options. Using RASCH to evaluate models for testing students' critical thermal materials. This study was conducted to evaluate an experimental instrument on the critical thinking skills of SMA Negeri 1 Binjai Chemistry students. 25 students will participate in the workshop. The questions will be presented in multiple choice format, with a total of 30 questions on Thermochemistry. Rasch model is used to get the appropriate items. Analysis was performed using WinSteps software. The output of the Winsteps version 4.3.2 software found 12 incorrect items and 13 correct items, resulting in a final score of 13. Based on the analysis of write maps, students with 14 codes were known to have greater abilities or talents. 02, 04 and 18 have the lowest probability. Keywords: fit, rasch model, winsteps, reliability, Critical Thinking Skills Albstralk: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Penentuan sampel secara proporsional sampling. Variabel yang diteliti adalah kemampuan mahasiswa yang tercermin dari hasil ujian akhir semester pada mata kuliah kimia. Dalam penelitian ini, metode eksperimen digunakan sebagai alat pengumpulan data. Instrumen tes menggunakan model pilihan ganda dua bagian dengan jumlah 30 item dan lima pilihan jawaban. Menggunakan RASCH untuk mengevaluasi model untuk menguji bahan termal kritis siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengevaluasi instrumen eksperimen terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa Kimia SMA Negeri 1 Binjai. Sebanyak 25 siswa akan mengikuti workshop tersebut. Soal akan disajikan dalam format pilihan ganda, dengan total 30 soal tentang Termokimia. Model rasch digunakan untuk mendapatkan item yang sesuai. Analisis dilakukan dengan menggunakan software WinSteps. Output dari software Winsteps versi 4.3.2 ditemukan 12 item salah dan 13 item benar, sehingga menghasilkan skor akhir 13. Berdasarkan analisis menulis peta, siswa dengan 14 kode diketahui memiliki kemampuan atau bakat yang lebih besar. 02, 04 dan 18 memiliki probabilitas terendah. Kaltal Kunci: fit, model rasch, winsteps, reliabilitas, Kerampilan Berfikir Kritis
