Abstract

Background. On the post digestive surgery patients is has increased metabolic stress as indicated by the increase in energy and protein demand. The feeding for post digestive surgery patients note either through enteral, parenteral and oral combination so that food intake can be given correctly. Research Methods. This study used obeservasional descriptive. The sampling used purposive sampling. Research Result. The all of sample in this research is man which aged over 40 years with hernia inguital lateralis diagnosis and the length of stay postoperative is 3 days. The average of patients intake is 75%, protein 69%, vitamin C 26,33% and kalium 125,3%. The parenteral food that provide to all of sample is ecosol RL infuse as 1000 cc which given when the sample finished the operation. Conclusion. The contribution of energy, protein dan vitamin C only obtained by oral, while the parenteral food is give the contribution of kalium intake as 102,56%.

Abstract

Background: The shift in consumption patterns is possible because the noodles can be easily processed, presented with practical and can meet the tastes of most people, both adults and children. Promotion noodles with various types of products, sizes and at affordable prices in various places to make new noodle products quickly known by the public. Instant noodles are a favorite food of all people, especially for people who have a very busy life and reams much so that they do not have time to make or buy healthy food.  This study aims to determine the preferences and consumption patterns in adolescents boarding instant noodles and not boarding the Department of Nutrition and Health Analyst at Ministry of Health Polytechnic Mataram.  Methods: This study used observational methods cros sectional analytic approach. The number of samples in this study were as many as 56 among 28 adolescents and 28 adolescents not kos kos, sampling with simple random sampling. Collecting data through interviews using questionnaires and FFQ. The statistical test used to analyze the differences between variables using independent t-test.  Research shows that teens boarding really like instant noodles 23 adolescents (82.1%) adolescents are not boarding like instant noodles were 24 adolescents (85.7%) and instant noodle consumption patterns of adolescent boarding and rooming boarding hightest usual teen consume fried noodles were 22 adolescents and 14 adolescents who consume regular boarding noodle soup.  Conclusion: The results of the analysis of the data shows there are differences in consumption preferences of teenagers instant noodles boarding and rooming not (p = 0.000), no differences in the pattern of consumption of instant noodles teen boarding and boarding (p = 0.018).  Keywords: Preferences, Teen, Consumption Patterns.

Abstract

Adolescence is very important because it is a transitional period between children and adults.Balanced nutrition at this time will greatly determine their maturity in the future, the imbalance between food and needs in adolescents will cause nutritional problems, one of which is malnutrition. Nutrition counseling with the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) method is an easy-to-implement extension method, and involves all individuals without having to have status differences, involving the role of children as peer tutors, containing elements of play and appreciation. PurposeTo find out the effect of counseling with the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) Method on Balanced Nutrition Knowledge in Adolescents at Aikmel Middle School 2 East Lombok Regency. MethodThis research is a pre-experiment research with a design design for one group pre-test and post-test.. Samples were taken by simple random sampling. The results of the knowledge using the Paired Samples Test test obtained the value of p value = .000 or p <α = 0.05, so that there was an influence of counseling with the Tams Games Tornament (TGT) method on Balanced Nutrition in Teenagers at Aikmel Junior High School 2.The Conclusionisthe results showed that there was an increase in the knowledge of adolescents before and after being given balanced nutrition counseling with the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) Method and there was a significant effect on the knowledge of adolescents before and after counseling with the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) method.
