Abstract

This research offered solutions and answers to the textbook problems of Arabic learning in the Arabic language development program at Islamic Studies Faculty of Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang. The development of textbooks was done by adding pictorial explanations to the relevant vocabulary, also the learning material developed according to the expected profession. In addition, interactive exercises and themes were adapted to student interests and program goals. This study used ADDIE as a research and development model to produce innovative study, productive, and meaningful. The results of the validity tests were as follows: language validation tests show a percentage of 90%. The result of content validation was 92%, design validation result was 86%, while the result of lecturer validation was 95%. From these data, it can be concluded that the textbook was valid. Similarly, the effectiveness test by using (T-Test) showed effective results so that textbooks that had been developed were feasible to use.

Abstract

One of the efforts to overcome the problem of Arabic language learning is to increase the motivation of learning using learning media. The learning media today is very diverse depending on how teachers make good use of it. The research is based on articulate storyline 3 application. The purpose of this study is to find out how articulate storyline 3 application is used and the effectiveness of its application. This study uses quantitative approach, a type of experimentation research with pre-experimental research design one group pre-test post-test. Data collection method with observation, interview, and questionnaire. The method of data analysis with validity test, reliability test, normality test, hypothesis test, and effectiveness test. The results of the study in class VIII Ibnul Jazari at SMP Ar-Rohmah Putri, Dau Malang district showed that Articulate Storyline 3 can increase learning motivation based on four indications of increased motivation including, 1) Students' interest in Arabic; 2) Students are active and responsive in Arabic language learning; 3) Students pay attention to the teacher's explanation; 4) Students dare to ask and answer the questions given. The indication is supported by the data from the paired sample T-Test obtained by 0.000 ≤ 0.05 which shows a difference in motivation level before and after the application of the media with the result of gain calculation obtained results of 0.71 which means high effectiveness. So it can be concluded that the use of Articulate Storyline 3 as an interactive learning medium to increase the motivation of learning Arabic students in Ar-Rohmah Putri, Dau Malang district is declared effective because it is at a high level of effectiveness. Keywords: Articulate Storyline, Interactive Learning Media, Learning Motivation Abstrak Salah satu upaya mengatasi permasalahan pembelajaran bahasa Arab yaitu dengan meningkatkan motivasi belajar menggunakan media pembelajaran. Media pembelajaran saat ini sudah sangat beragam tergantung bagaimana guru memanfaatkannya dengan baik. Penelitian ini berbasis Articulate Storyline 3. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana penggunaan Articulate Storyline 3 dan tingkat efektivitas penerapannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, jenis penelitian ekperimen dengan desain penelitian Pre-Eksperimental One Group Pre-test Post-test. Metode pengumpulan data dengan observasi, wawancara, dan angket/kuesioner. Adapun metode analisis data dengan uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji normalitas, uji hipotesis, dan uji efektivitas. Hasil penelitian di kelas VIII Ibnul Jazari di SMP Ar-Rohmah Putri, Dau Kabupaten Malang menunjukan bahwa Articulate Storyline 3 dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar didasarkan pada empat indikasi peningkatan motivasi meliputi, 1) Ketertarikan siswa terhadap bahasa Arab; 2) Siswa aktif dan responsif dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab; 3) Siswa memperhatikan penjelasan guru; 4) Siswa berani bertanya dan menjawab soal yang diberikan. Indikasi tersebut didukung oleh hasil data dari uji T sampel berhubungan (Paired Sample T-Test) diperoleh hasil sebesar 0,000 ≤ 0,05 yang menunjukan adanya perbedaan tingkat motivasi sebelum dan sesudah penerapan media dengan hasil penghitungan Gain diperoleh hasil sebesar 0,71 yang berarti efektivitas tinggi. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemanfaatan Articulate Storyline 3 sebagai media pembelajaran interaktif untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar bahasa Arab siswa di Ar-Rohmah Putri, Dau Kabupaten Malang dinyatakan efektif karena berada pada tingkat efektivitas tinggi. Abstract

Students' understanding of Arabic vocabulary is one of the benchmarks for success in learning. The absence of the use of innovative and interactive learning media causes the Arabic learning process to be suboptimal. This study uses the educandy platform as a learning media to facilitate students in the learning process. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the educandy platform in improving understanding of Arabic vocabulary. This study uses a quantitative approach to the type of experiment which aim of knowing whether there is an effect of giving or treating the research subject. The research instruments used for data collection were questionnaires and tests. The data presented in this study uses paired sample t-test analysis techniques and the N-Gain formula using pre-test and post-test scores. The results of this study describe a fairly high difference between the pre-test average value of 44.66 and post-test 85.17, there is a difference in the average learning outcomes between the pre-test and post-test with a sig value of 0.000 < 0,05, the effectiveness results with the N-Gain formula of 0.73 are included in the "high" category. Therefore, the educandy platform is quite effectively used to improve understanding of Arabic vocabulary.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang ayat-ayat Al-Qur’an yang termasuk majaz i’tibar maa Yakunu atau menyebutkan sesuatu yang sedang terjadi tetapi yang dimaksudkan adalah sesuatu yang telah terjadi, selain itu juga membahas tentang tujuan dari penggunaan majaz tersebut. Karena dalam Al-Qur’an banyak menggunakan majaz I’tibar maa Yakunu dalam menyampaikan pesan-pesannya.Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian kepustakaan (library research), dan teknik analisis data yang gunakan yaitu teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif, dengan pendekatan Semantik, Deskriprif, Komparatif. Tematik, yaitu mempelajari ayat-ayat yang termasuk ia’tibar maa kana secara keseluruhan. Metode ini digunakan untuk mengelompokkan ayat-ayat yang menyebutkan sesuatu yang sedang terjadi tetapi yang dimaksudkan adalah sesuatu yang telah terjadi dalam al-Qur’an kemudian diteliti bagaimana gaya bahasa dari setiap ayat tersebut. Semantik, Deskriprif dan Komparatif, Adapun hasil penelitian majaz mursal I.tibar Maa Yakuunu dalam Al-Qur’am ditemukan depalan surat dan ayat yang menggunakan majaz I’tibar Maa yakuunu yaitu: Surat Nuh ayat 27, Yusuf ayat 36, Surat Shafat ayat 101, Surat AL-Baqarah Ayat 178-179, Q.S. An-Naba’ ayat 8, Q.S. Surat AN-Naba ayat 31, Q.S. Al-infithar ayat 4, dan Q.S. Al-muthafifin ayat 25.

Abstract

This study aims to map and identify research developments on strategies and methods of learning Arabic speaking skills in Indonesia. This qualitative literature review approach study analyzed data sources through journal articles on Arabic studies from 2019-2023. The results show that the amount of research from 2019-2023 has fluctuated in the number of articles published. During this time, qualitative methods were used most in the study. The most discussed topics are learning, improving strategies, and using direct methods of speaking most discussed. The variety of research objects shows that junior high school students are the most dominant research objects. In addition, in terms of the most common problems, namely the low ability of students to speak Arabic and students' difficulty in speaking Arabic, the main factor that makes learning speaking skills less effective is the application of inappropriate learning methods, such as the al-Qawaid wa al-Tarjamah method, the lecture and reading method, and the application of monotonous and less varied strategies and methods. Likewise, teachers' lack of competence in applying various fun methods results in teachers being more active than students.

Abstract

Keterampilan membaca teks Arab merupakan keterampilan dasar yang sangat penting dalam penguasaan literatur arab baik yang modern maupun klasik, khususnya bagi mahasiswa perguruan tinggi keagamaan Islam Indonesia. Di IAI Sunan Kalijogo Malang, masih ditemukan sejumlah mahasiswa yang mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami teks Arab karena keterbatasan metode pembelajaran yang digunakan. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan membaca dalam memahami teks Arab, mahasiswa melalui penerapan metode eklektik, yakni pendekatan pembelajaran yang menggabungkan unsur-unsur positif dari berbagai metode, seperti metode Skimming dan Scanning. Pelatihan dilakukan dalam bentuk sesi intensif yang melibatkan praktik langsung, diskusi kelompok, dan refleksi pembelajaran. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman mahasiswa terhadap struktur dan makna teks Arab, serta meningkatnya kepercayaan diri mereka dalam membaca teks secara mandiri. Kegiatan ini membuktikan bahwa metode eklektik efektif diterapkan dalam konteks pembelajaran bahasa Arab di lingkungan perguruan tinggi Islam.

Abstract

This community service program was carried out at Ulil Abshar Orphanage, Sengkaling, Malang, with the primary objective of empowering the economic independence of orphanage children through entrepreneurship training. The main challenges faced by the children are the lack of practical skills and limited experience in managing small businesses, which necessitates systematic capacity building. The implementation methods included several stages, namely the provision of conceptual materials on entrepreneurship, technical training on starting small businesses, and mentoring in managing simple business units aligned with local potentials and needs. Furthermore, the children were encouraged to develop creativity in producing marketable products and to practice digital technology–based marketing strategies. The results of the program demonstrated an improvement in the children’s understanding of entrepreneurship concepts, their ability to design business plans, and their skills in independently managing small businesses. This activity also fostered greater self-confidence, entrepreneurial motivation, and awareness of the importance of economic independence for their future. Thus, this entrepreneurship training is expected to serve as an initial step in preparing a generation of independent, productive, and competitive orphanage children. Program sustainability is planned through continuous monitoring, further mentoring, and the development of collaborative networks with various stakeholders.
