Abstract

In this research, the water turbidity measurement tool based on Arduino Uno has been designed and built using phototransistors and infrared LEDs. This measuring instrument consists of a series of infrared sensors, Arduino as a process, LCD I2C as a value viewer, Micro SD as a data storage, and RTC as a timer. This study used two water samples with various concentrations. The sample used, namely distilled water plus impurities in the form of soil and ash. The distilled water used is still 100 ml with variations in the concentration of impurities ranging from 0,1-0,9 gr. Sensor test results show that the greater the turbidity level, the greater the voltage obtained. Sensor scanning ranges from 2,02 V-4,00 V for groundwater and 2,02 V-4,31 V for ash water. The reading uses a standard measuring instrument for groundwater ranging from 0 NTU to 331,4 NTU, while for ash water ranging from 0 NTU to 284,4 NTU. Data from the sensor test results in an equation used to convert the artificial measuring instrument's voltage value into a turbidity value. Then, data is taken using the same sample, so groundwater's turbidity value was obtained from 0 NTU to 318,94 NTU while for ash water from 0 NTU to 285,13 NTU. Based on the results, average accuracy for water was obtained. Soil amounted to 94,66%, while for ash water was 96,63%.

Abstract

Hydrogen adsorption has been simulated on carbon nanotubes for optimum hydrogen absorption. Parameters that affect the amount of hydrogen absorbed have been studied, such as the effect of chirality and temperature on hydrogen absorption in CNTs. The simulation method of hydrogen adsorption on carbone nanotubes uses molecular dynamics simulation code LAMMPS, applies Lennard-Jones interatomic potential and hydrogen atom movement using Van Der Waals force with Microcanonical Ensemble. Data analysis is the output of LAMPS in the form of data in XYZ format. The data contains information in the form of integration steps, number of atoms, temperature, pressure, potential energy, kinetic energy, volume, van der Waals energy, total simulation time and hydrogen absorption. The simulation results show that the optimum absorption occurs at run 10000 and a temperature of 100 K, for armchair chirality of 10 atoms, chirality of 12 atoms and zigzag chrality of 5 atoms. Formation of hydrogen coordinates with Avogadro software, formation of CNT coordinates with VMD software and visualization of hydrogen adsorption on CNTs using VMD software.

Abstract

SDN 1 Triharjo is committed to continuously improving student and school achievement, with a mission to create green and healthy schools. One of the standards that must be met to realize a green school is to take care of optical plants by making automatic plant sprinklers. School residents are still not aware of the importance of watering plants, because it will affect plant growth. Therefore, in this community service activity, assistance in the implementation of technology and internet of things (IoT) will be carried out for telegram-based plant watering automation. The direct involvement of teachers and students in implementing PkM activities is expected to increase the awareness of school residents to carry out environmental care behavior. The implementation of this activity is expected to be one of the added values for partner schools.

Abstract

Kompetensi dan keterampilan guru dalam pengelolaan laboratorium IPA SMP/MTs di Kabupaten Lampung Timur Provinsi Lampung masih rendah. Laboratorium IPA belum diberdayakan secara optimal dalam pembelajaran. Keterampilan khusus yaitu: mereparasi, memodifikasi dan menduplikasi alat-alat laboratorium yang dimiliki guru juga masih rendah. Di samping itu, kesempatan untuk mengikuti pelatihan keterampilan khusus laboratorium bagi guru IPA SMP/MTs masih minim. Tujuan kegiatan adalah untuk meningkatkan kompetensi keterampilan pengelola laboratorium IPA SMP/MTs di Kabupaten Lampung Timur. Metode kegiatan meliputi: tes awal, pemaparan materi (ceramah dan praktik yang diikuti peserta), dan tes akhir. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dua hari, yaitu tanggal 26—27 September 2019, di SMPN 1 Batanghari Kabupaten Lampung Timur. Jumlah peserta 48 orang guru, berasal dari 21 kecamatan di Kabupaten Lampung Timur. Hasil tes awal diperoleh nilai terendah 20, tertinggi 70, dan rata-rata 49. Pemberian materi dilaksanakan dengan metode ceramah, sedangkan pelatihan keterampilan peserta dibuat kelompok (satu kelompok terdiri atas 3—4 orang guru) dengan metode praktikum. Untuk mengetahui hasil pelatihan, di akhir kegiatan dilaksanakan tes. Hasil tes akhir diperoleh nilai terendah 50, tertinggi 90, dan rata-rata 69. Hal ini menunjukkan peningkatan komptensi dan keterampilan peserta yang ditunjukkan dengan peningkatan nilai tes. Materi tes berupa soal untuk mengetahui kompetensi dan keterampilan pengelolaan laboratorium.

Abstract

Kompetensi pengelolaan laboratorium yang dimiliki tenaga laboratorium Fisika SMA di Kabupaten Lampung Tengah masih rendah dan laboratorium Fisika belum diberdayakan secara optimal. Kemampuan dan kesempatan untuk mengikuti pelatihan pengelolalaan laboratorium dan pengambangan bagi pengelola laboratorium Fisika SMA masih minim. Tujuan kegiatan adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pengelolaan dan penngembangan guru fisika sebagai pengelola laboratorium Fisika SMA di Kabupaten Lampung Tengah, sehingga dapat meningkatkan kualitas hasil pembelajaran berparktikum. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan meliputi: tes awal, pemaparan materi (ceramah dan diskusi), dan tes akhir. Pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan selama dua hari, yaitu tanggal 12—13 Agustus 2020, bertempat di SMAN 1 Terbanggi Besar Kabupaten Lampung Tengah. Kegiatan diikuti oleh oleh 35 orang guru, yang berasal dari 18 kecamatan di Kabupaten Lampung Tengah. Hasil tes awal menunjukkan bahwa nilai tes awal terendah 10, tertinggi 60, dan rata-rata 42,29. Sedangkan hasil tes akhir diperoleh nilai terendah 50, tertinggi 100, dan rata-rata 77,43. Hasil tes menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman peserta yang ditunjukkan dengan peningkatan nilai tes awal dan tes akhir dengan nilai terendah meningkat 40%, nilai tertinggi meningkat 67 %, dan rata-rata meningkat 97 %.

Abstract

Penelitian dan publikasi ilmiah guru merupakan bagian dari penilaian kompetensi guru. Sehingga pembinaan dan bimbingan terhadap guru untuk dapat melakukan penelitian dan pubikasi ilmiah sangat diperlukan. Karena secara umum semua guru memiliki kemampuan untuk melakukan penelitian dan publikasi ilmiah. Tujuan kegiatan adalah memberikan pengetahuan kepada guru dalam melakukan penelitian, baik penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) maupun penelitian konten bidang ilmu dilanjutkan dengan publikasi ilmiah hasil penelitiannya. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan meliputi: tes awal, pemaparan materi (ceramah dilengkapi dengan praktek yang diikuti peserta), dan tes akhir. Pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan selama satu hari, bertempat di SMPN 1 Metro. Kegiatan diikuti oleh oleh 28 orang, terdiri atas guru SMP negeri dan swasta Kota Metro. Hasil tes awal menggambarkan pengetahuan guru terhadap penelitian dan publikasi ilmiah masih rendah, yaitu nilai terendah 11, tertinggi 30, dan rata-rata 29. Sedangkan hasil tes akhir diperoleh nilai terendah 39, tertinggi 67, dan rata-rata 52. Hasil tes akhir menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman guru yang ditunjukkan melalui peningkatan nilai tes akhir yaitu nilai terendah meningkat 167%, nilai tertinggi meningkat 71 %, dan rata-rata meningkat 81 %..

Abstract

Automation system waterwheel for farmed shrimp respiration have realized using dissolved oxygen sensors (DO). The DO sensor used to detect the levels of dissolved oxygen in the water. Digital data output sensor DO is connected to the computer via the arduino uno, furthermore the output data are recorded and displayed on the LCD monitor and a television series. Automation system using relay with a range of dissolved oxygen levels <4,00 mg/L for the condition of the windmills ON and >5,50 mg/L for the condition of the windmills OFF.

Abstract

It has been conducted a research to analyze Citrus sp as voltaic cell electrolyte liquid based on pH and fruit condition on its electrical properties. The research objective was to utilize citrus sp waste as an alternative source of electrical energy bio-battery. The materials required consists of a copper electrode (Cu), zinc (Zn), electrolyte liquid (50ml) from lime, lemon, medan orange and pontianak orange. Electrode copper Cu used as cathode and zinc (Zn) as anode. The conditions of liquid variations fresh, fermentation 48 hours, and putridity. The acidity level of the liquid was measured using pH meter. The best result of measuring without a load was found in putrid liquid of lemon, which was 19,36 V. Measurement using 1000? of load was obtained best result in the 48 hours fermentation of lime liquid, that are 2,369 mW, 0,762 mA and 3,11 V. For the measuring with additional LED, the best results are the liquid of lemon dan lime with permentation 48hours, with maximum 9 LED. The results are 7,144mW and 8,534 mW.
