Abstract

AbstrakNaskah Tashrihah Al-Muhtaaj merupakan salah satu cerminan kebudayaan masyarakat Jawa pada masa lampau yang berisi nilai-nilai sebagai sumber kedamaian dalam bermasyarakat. Pengkajian terhadap naskah tersebut dianggap penting, mengingat adanya krisis moral di kalangan siswa-siswi di sekolah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengungkap nilai-nilai moral Jawa dalam naskah Tashrihah Al-Muhtaaj dan relevansi nilai-nilai tersebut dalam pendidikan karakter di sekolah. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis konten dengan pendekatan hermeneutik. Sumber data penelitian adalah naskah Tashrihah Al-Muhtaaj yang berisi 25 teks, tetapi hanya 8 teks yang dapat mewakili nilai-nilai moral Jawa dalam naskah. Adapun pengesahan data dengan cara validitas semantik dan reliabilitas intrarater. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya relevansi nilai-nilai moral dalam naskah dengan nilai pendidikan budaya dan karakter bangsa. Nilai moral dalam naskah berupa nilai kejujuran, tanggung jawab, kerukunan, keadilan, dan hati nurani. Nilai-nilai tersebut relevan dengan nilai pendidikan budaya dan karakter bangsa, yaitu pada nilai jujur, tanggung jawab, toleransi dan cinta damai, demokratis, dan peduli sosial. Dengan demikian, nilai-nilai moral dalam naskah Tashrihah Al-Muhtaaj dapat diterapkan sebagai acuan atau contoh pendidikan karakter di sekolah. Kata kunci: naskah kuno, nilai moral Jawa, pendidikan, Tashrihah Al-Muhtaaj AbstractThe Tashrihah Al-Muhtaaj manuscript is one of the manifestation of Javanese culture in the past which consists of many values as the peace and society sources. The study of this manuscript is vwry significant. It is caused by the moral crisis happenedto the students in the school. The aim of this study is to unravel Javanese moral values in Tashrihah Al-Muhtaaj manuscript and the relevance of these values in character education at school. The research method used was content analysis technique with hermeneutic approach. The data source in this study is Tashrihah Al-Muhtaaj manuscript, which originally contains 25 texts, but only 8 texts represent Javanese moral values. The data validation was done by applying semantic validity and intra-rater reliability. In brief, the result shows that there is relevance of moral values in Tashrihah Al-Muhtaaj manuscript with the values of cultural education and national character. The moral values in Tashrihah Al-Muhtaaj manuscript comprise honesty, responsibility, harmony, justice, and conscience. Moreover, these values are relevant to the values of cultural education and national character; they are the values of honesty, responsibility, tolerance and love for peace, democratic, and social care. Therefore, the moral values in Tashrihah Al-Muhtaaj manuscript can be applied as references or examples of character education at school.  Keywords: ancient script, Javanese moral value, education, Tashrihah Al-Muhtaaj

Abstract

While the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic continues to impact, the new normal era becomes the latest universal issue to be discussed. Hence, most Arab countries are still categorized as developing countries, this stipulates the need to provide deep discussion on the typology of the types of responses currently undertaken by their higher education institutions. This can assess their agility in preparing for the intra-pandemic period and the unprecedented future disruption. This paper aims to give reflections on the adopted practices in Arab higher education institutions in response to COVID-19 disruption. It also aims to utilize the success indicators and challenges encountering these universities in a way to propose recommendations to shape the new normal era forward. In this study, a desktop analysis, leveraging six Arab universities websites and governments’ sources, was conducted wherein systematic literature, policy documents, as well as related procedures targeting COVID-19 and higher education were reviewed. The results indicate that, throughout the uncertainties of COVID-19, Arab higher education institutions continuously strive to deliver high quality of teaching and learning through employing consistent high-tech procedures entitling government legislations, education management, curriculum, scientific research and stakeholders’ collaboration.

Abstract

This research aims to develop concept of the quality of education in Islamic Senior High School and know the validity and reliability of the factors that affect the development of quality indicators in Islamic Senior High School. Development of the procedures in this research included a needs analysis, product development, product test, and implementation/ dissemination. A sample of this research was Islamic Senior High School 1 Surakarta and Islamic Senior High School 1 Purwodadi, which were determined by a purposive random sampling. Data analysis techniques used was Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA), Lisrel version 8.54, and descriptive qualitative analysis. The results of the study showed that the development of quality indicator for Islamic Senior High School includes six criteria namely, the role of school principals, management of Islamic Senior High School, educators and Staffs, Students, facilities and infrastructures and the role of the community. It has met the indicators fit models, the Chi-Square value is 152.07, p 0.05, and RMSEA is 0.068. The advantages of this Islamic Senior High School Quality Evaluation Instrument are namely comprehensive holistic approach, easy, not depending on the specific lessons conducted by educators. It can be used to map the various aspects of the education in Islamic school that need to be repaired; it is open to further developed) Islamic school quality evaluation instrument can be used as a school self-evaluation; it can be used effectively by schools without interrupting the learning process; it supports school accreditation and quality guarantee, and it is also independent.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui manajemen pendidik yang meliputi perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, pengawasan, dan evaluasi tenaga pendidik di SDIT Anak Soleh 2 Mataram. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Subyek penelitian terdiri dari kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah, dan guru SDIT Anak Soleh 2 Mataram. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik dokumentasi dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data meliputi editing, kategori, mendisplay dan menafsirkan data. Hasil penelitian ini, yakni (1) Tahap perencanaan; perekrutan tenaga pendidik di SDIT Anak Soleh 2 Mataram telah cukup baik yakni sejak pengajuan kebutuhan pendidik baru kepada yayasan, seleksi administrasi, tes tulis 1 berupa uji komitmen, tes tulis 2 berupa tes akademis,  tes bacaan dan hafalan Quran, wawancara, hingga tes micro teaching. (2) Tahap pengorganisasian; pengorganisasian tenaga pendidik dilakukan oleh kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah, dan pembentukan panitia serta koordinator level. (3) Tahap pelaksanaan; Kepala Sekolah SDIT Anak Soleh 2 Mataram melakukan pembinaan para tenaga pendidik dengan kegiatan  Bina Pribadi Islami untuk guru, pertemuan dan rapat guru setiap hari Sabtu, pelatihan guru minimal sekali setiap semester, dan saling mengingatkan antarguru. (4) Tahap Pengawasan; Kepala sekolah mengontrol secara langsung dengan berkeliling dan secara tidak langsung dengan bantuan wakil kepala sekolah dan koordinator level yang telah dibentuk dengan tugas mengawasi guru di setiap tingkatan kelas. Selain itu, kepala sekolah membuat petugas piket untuk mendisiplinkan guru. Abstract:  This study aims to determine the management of teaching staff that includes planning, organizing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating educators at SDIT Anak Soleh 2 Mataram. This study uses a qualitative approach with qualitative descriptive methods. The research subjects consisted of school principals, vice-principals, and SDIT Anak Soleh 2 Mataram teachers. Data collection uses documentation and interview techniques. Data analysis techniques include editing, category, display and interpret data. The results of this study, namely (1) Planning stage; recruitment of teaching staff at SDIT Anak Soleh 2 Mataram has been quite good, namely since the submission of new educator needs to the foundation, administrative selection, written test 1 in the form of commitment test, written test 2 in the form of academic test, reading test and memorization of the Quran, interview, to microteaching . (2) The organizing stage; the organization of the teaching staff is carried out by the school principal, deputy headmaster, and the formation of a committee and level coordinator. (3) Implementation phase; The principal of SDIT Anak Soleh 2 Mataram conducts training of educators with Islamic Personal Development activities for teachers, teacher meetings and meetings every Saturday, teacher training at least once every semester, and reminds one another among teachers. (4) Supervision Stage; The headmaster controls directly by going around and indirectly with the help of the vice-principal and coordinator level that has been formed with the task of supervising teachers at each grade level.
