Abstract

Abstrak: Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk membantu guru bimbingan dan konseling mengembangkan kemampuan dalam membuat media bimbingan yang mudah dan menarik bagi para peserta didik. Mitra dalam pengabdian ini adalah guru Bimbingan dan Konseling yang tergabung dalam musyawarah guru bimbingan dan konseling (MGBK) Madrasah Aliyah di Yogyakarta sejumlah 25 guru. Pelaksanaan kegiatan bersifat daring menggunakan media Zoom dengan materi pengantar media bimbingan dan konseling, berbagai jenis media dan pembuatan media berbasis aplikasi Canva. Hasil kegiatan adalah terdapat perbedaan rata-rata skor pemahaman tentang media bimbingan dan konseling antara sebelum pelatihan sebesar 27 dan sesudah pemberian pelatihan menjadi 29. Selain itu, para guru bimbingan dan konseling juga mampu membuat media bimbingan dan konseling yang mudah dan menarik menggunakan aplikasi Canva.Abstract:This community service aims to help guidance and counseling teachers develop skills in making guidance media for students. Partners in this service are 25 Guidance and Counseling teachers who are members of the Guidance and Counseling Teacher Council (MGBK) Madrasah Aliyah in Yogyakarta. Implementation of this activities using Zoom media with introductory materials for guidance and counseling media, various types of media and the creation media based on Canva application. The result of the activity is that there is a difference in the average score of understanding on guidance and counseling media between before training of 27 and after providing training to 29. In addition, guidance and counseling teachers are also able to create easy and interesting guidance and counseling media using the Canva application.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and examine how student career perceptions are handled by students related to the environmental impact, talents, and COVID-19 circumstances on career services at State Vocational School 3 Klaten. This study uses a qualitative approach. Respondents were students and teachers of Guidance and Counselling at state vocational high school 3 Klaten. The findings indicate that students' career conceptions are connected to the environmental influence, skills, and the COVID-19 settings surrounding career services and that these beliefs favourably affect students' self-development. The findings indicate that the results of interviews with students regarding factors influencing their perceptions of career counselling and career development, including talents, promising career planning with parental support and the impact of the environment, career exploration, career development, and support from learning facilities during the COVID-19.

Abstract

Abstrak: Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk membantu guru Bimbingan dan Konseling mengembangkan kemampuan dalam mengatasi kecemasan karier akibat pandemi covid-19. Mitra dalam pengabdian ini adalah guru Bimbingan dan Konseling yang tergabung dalam musyawarah guru bimbingan dan konseling (MGBK) SMK Jawa Tengah sejumlah 158 Guru. Pelaksanaan kegiatan bersifat daring yang dilakukan selama 2 hari. Hari pertama kegiatan menghadirkan pemateri sedangkan hari kedua pengerjaan tes dan pembahasan oleh fasilitator. Hasil kegiatan adalah terdapat peningkatan berdasarkan hasil pretest dan posttest sebesar 14.9%. Hal ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan dan pemahaman dalam mengatasi kecemasan karier setelah mengikuti webinar.Abstract: This community service aims to help Guidance and Counseling teachers develop skills in overcoming career anxiety due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Partners in this service are Guidance and Counseling teachers who are members of the Guidance and Counseling Teacher Consultation (MGBK) of Central Java Vocational High School with a total of 158 teachers. The implementation of online activities carried out for 2 days. The first day of the activity brought presenters, while the second day of testing and discussion by the facilitator. The result of the activity is that there is an increase based on the results of the pretest and posttest of 14.9%. This indicates an increase in ability and understanding in overcoming career anxiety after attending the webinar.

Abstract

Psychological first aid (PFA) is an effort that can be done by anyone to provide appropriate support to survivors. Until now teachers still have difficulty in determining the role that needs to be done in providing psychological support to students in the event of a disaster. The purpose of this study was to increase the knowledge of teachers related to PFA giving. The activity was conducted on May 6 and 7, 2021. 540 participants are teachers participating in this workshop. On the first day, participants learn about the basic concepts of PFA, and on the second-day participants conducted P3L (Prepare, Look, Listen, and Link) applications in a Psychological First Aid (PFA) crisis accompanied by a facilitator. The results obtained were increased knowledge of Psychological First Aid (PFA) and how to apply it in the Education setting.
