Abstract

This research focuses on how human trafficking victims are represented in the novel Re: dan Perempuan by Maman Suherman using Semiotic Analysis by Ferdinand de Saussure, the paradigmatic and the syntagmatic one. Human trafficking is one of the most violent crime in the world according to the United Nation, so it requires special attention especially towards its victims. This case often becomes a topic in literary works, one of them is Re: dan Perempuan, which tells the story of a sexual exploitation victims. This research uses a qualitative interpretive approach, with literature review as its data collection technique and the novel Re: dan Perempuan is the primary source of this research. The aim of this study is to understand of how human trafficking victims are represented in the novel and it through the point of psychographic of the victims and the treatment received by the victims. From this research, there are found 6 narratives that explain about the psychographic of the victims and 9 narrative of the treatment received by the victims. The psychographic of the victims are depicted as someone who wears a heavy make up, indicating that the victims represented as a minors that is wearing inappropriate clothes who some of them are wearing make up and some are not. And mentally, the human trafficking victims are represented as someone with low self-esteem. On the other hand, the v treatment received is found to include threats, violence, extortion, slavery, and even murder.

Abstract

Broken Homes tend to be synonymous with an incomplete family or a family with divorced parents. Even though a family that has intact members can also be referred to as a "Broken Home family" when the relationships that are established are not harmonious and there is no warmth in them, This causes the child to experience trauma and some emotional disturbances. Children with stable emotional maturity, on the other hand, will be able to be resilient, one of which is through self-disclosure. The purpose of this study was to find out how self-disclosure communication acts as a form of resilience for Broken Home students in Surabaya. This research method is qualitative with a phenomenological approach. Data was collected through the stages of observation, in-depth interviews, and document review. The results showed that self-disclosure played a bigger role in the resilience process for female informants than for male informants. This is because female informants can take positive things from the advice and words of encouragement from their interlocutors, while male informants do not have such a big effect. Abstract

Wabah corona virus disease 2019 (Covid-19) memberikan tantangan tersendiri bagi lembaga pendidikan, khususnya Perguruan Tinggi. Perguruan tinggi dituntun untuk dapat menyelenggarakan pembelajaran secara daring atau online. Pada tanggal 15 September 2020 Universitas Negeri Surabaya diviralkan melalui kasus bullying pkkmb online yang diadakan oleh Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan. Kausus tersebut merebut perhatian dari publik dan warganet secara luas. Hal tersebut membuat humas Universitas Negeri Surabaya melakukan langkah untuk memanajamen krisis untuk menekan dampak krisis yang terjadi. Manajemen krisis merupakan strategi yang dibentuk oleh institusi atau lembaga dalam menangani kasus atau krisis yang sedang terjadi di dalam institusinya. Humas Universitas Negeri Surabaya menggunakan pola manajemen krisis dengan melakukan identifikasi krisis untuk mengetahui sumber krisis, dampak, dan kecenderungan komunikasi publik terhadap kasus tersebut. Langkah selanjutnya humas Universitas Negeri Surabaya menggunakan identifikasi sebagai landasan dari pembentukan komunikasi krisis. Komunikasi krisis yang digunakan oleh humas Universitas Negeri Surabaya adalah distance strategies, integrate strategies dan surffering strategies. Komunikasi krisis tersebut dilakukan oleh humas Universitas Negeri Surabaya kepada publik internal dan eksternal Universitas Negeri Surabaya. Langkah terakhir yang dilakukan oleh humas Universitas Negeri Surabaya sebagai bentuk manajemen krisis adalah melakukan evaluasi terhadap seluruh strategi yang digunakan agar dijadikan referensi untuk mengelola krisis dikemudian hari. Abstract

Consumptive actors can happen to anyone, including teenagers, and teenage girls have a higher tendency to consumptive behavior than boys. Consumptive behavior of teenage girls occurs when they seeproducts fashion attractivethat are in front of their eyes. This research was conducted as a material for discussing how the process of forming consumptive behavior experienced by Trimurti High School girls who have amindset brand minded in fashion products. In this study, it is also explained about the process of forming the consumptive behavior of teenage girls from Trimurti High School Surabaya with a brand-oriented mindset on fashion products. The process goes through the stages of introduction to branded fashion products by parents, finding self-identity by using branded fashion, getting to know directly when in a shopping center (mall), getting to knowproducts branded fashion from their environment, being interested in branded fashion and finally getting to the stage. purchase continuity.
