Abstract

Media pembelajaran adalah alat, bahan, atau keadaan yang digunakan sebagai perantara komunikasi dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Salah satu media yang dapat digunakan yaitu blog. Penggunaan blog sebagai media pembelajaran dapat membantu siswa memahami materi dengan baik dan menyenangkan. Dari sudut pandang pendidikan, blog/weblog adalah pengembangan catatan pembelajaran konvensional bagi siswa dan guru, baik sebagai pelengkap pembelajaran konvensional atau sebagai pembelajaran elektronik atau e-learning. Dengan blog guru dapat memberikan materi secara kreatif sehingga tidak membosankan. Hal ini juga berdampak kepada peningkatan kemampuan guru dalam bidang teknologi informasi. Bagi siswa, penggunaan blog dalam pembelajaran dapat memberikan pemahaman materi secara kreatif. Di samping itu, pembelajaran menyenangkan dan juga melatih siswa agar melek teknologi informasi.

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk 1) menghasilkan bahan ajar teori sastra berbasis website yang valid dan praktis dan 2) menentukan efek dari bahan ajar teori sastra berbasis website pada aspek afektif dan kognitif mahasiswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan. Subyek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa semester III program studi pendidikan bahasa dan sastra Indonesia. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, kuesioner, dan tes untuk melihat kebutuhan mahasiswa, mengamati sikap mereka terhadap modul berbasis website, dan untuk mengukur aspek kognitif mereka.Temuan penelitian ini adalah: 1) bahan ajar teori sastra berbasis website adalah sah dan praktis, 2) mahasiswa terlibat aktif selama pelajaran digunakan bahan ajar teori sastra berbasis website; 3) modul berbasis website memiliki efek positif pada hasil belajar mahasiswa. Kata kunci: pengembangan, modul, dan website

Abstract

AbstractThe problems discussed in this paper are, "How are the teaching materials that can push towards the creation of human beings who have IPTEK and also IMTAQ, facing the challenge of the Industrial Revolution of 4.0?" Elementary school teacher Education is one of the important containers to make the world of education play a role in facing the challenges of the current revolution. For that it needs to be developed and compiled the latest teaching materials based on character education. By preparing teaching materials that contain character education values that are in line with the access of learning and curriculum, will be produced graduates who not only have high knowledge and skills, but also have a attitude, personal and social, which is capable. Through the literature and research results, in this paper presented product development based on character education, which can be a reference for the development and preparation of teaching materials at the basic level, as a shoulder effort in the planting of positive attitudes to learners.  Keywords: teaching materials, character education, IPTEK and IMTAQ, the challenge of Industrial revolution Abstrak            Permasalahan yang dibahas dalam makalah ini adalah, “Bagaimanakah bahan ajar yang dapat mendorong ke arah terciptanya insan-insan yang memiliki IPTEK sekaligus juga IMTAQ, menghadapi tantangan revolusi industri 4.0?” Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar merupakan salah satu wadah yang sangat penting untuk menjadikan dunia pendidikan berperan dalam menghadapi tantangan revolusi saat ini. Untuk itu perlu dikembangkan dan disusun bahan ajar yang mutakhir yang berbasis pendidikan karakter. Dengan menyiapkan bahan ajar yang memuat nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter yang sejalan dengan capaian pembelajaran dan kurikulum, akan dihasilkan lulusan yang tidak hanya memiliki pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang tinggi, tetapi sekaligus memiliki sikap, personal dan sosial, yang mumpuni. Melalui kaji literatur dan hasil penelitian, dalam makalah ini disajikan produk hasil pengembangan berbasis pendidikan karakter, yang dapat menjadi acuan untuk pengembangan dan penyusunan bahan ajar di tingkat dasar, sebagai upaya yang pundamen dalam penanaman sikap-sikap positif kepada pembelajaran. Kata-kata kunci: bahan ajar,  pendidikan karakter, IPTEK dan IMTAQ, tantangan revolusi    industri

Abstract

ABSTRAK: Perencanaan Pembelajaran merupakan matakuliah wajib yang harus diikuti oleh mahasiswa program studi pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia FKIP Universitas Sriwijaya pada semester enam. Matakuliah tersebut memberikan panduan untuk calon guru dalam membuat perangkat pembelajaran dan meyimulasikannya. Untuk mengetahui kepraktisan buku ajar Perencanaan Pembelajaran Bahasa  Berbasis Pendidikan karakter dan Pendekatan Saintifik (PPBPKPS) yang sudah dikembangkan dan divalidasi oleh para ahli dan sudah diterbitkan cetakan pertama, perlu diketahui, “Bagaimanakah kepraktisan  buku  PPBPKPS, dilihat dari uji one-to-one dan uji small grup? Metode yang digunakan, bagian dari penelitian dan pengembanganfase keempat, deskriptif kuantitatif. Subjek penelitiannya adalah mahasiswa semester 6 kelas Inderalaya dan kelas Palembang, teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket, wawancara, dan tes,  analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis statistik deskriptif. Tingkat kepraktisan yang digunakan mengacu pada kriteria berikut ini. 1) tidak praktis (0—54), 2) kurang praktis (55—59), 3) cukup praktis (60—75), 4) praktis (76—85), dan 5) sangat praktis (86—100). Dari uji kepraktisanbahan ajar PPBPKPS, terlihat dari  4 aspek yang terpenuhi yakni: efektif, kreatif, efisien, dan menarik. Hasil nilai kepraktisan dari data one to one diperoleh rata-rata nilai 80.05 dan dari small grup diperoleh rata-rata 81,03, berarti bahan ajar ini tergolong praktis. Selanjutnya bahan ajar tersebut dapat digunakan oleh mahasiswa dalam kegiatan perkuliahan dan oleh guru di lapangan.KATA KUNCI: Bahan Ajar; Karakter;  Kepraktisan; Saintifik. PRACTICES OF TEACHING MATERIALS LEARNING BASED ON CHARACTER AND SAINTIFIC EDUCATION ABSTRACT: Learning Planning is a compulsory subject that must be attended by students of the Indonesian Language and Literature education program FKIP Sriwijaya University in the sixth semester. The course provides guidance for prospective teachers in making learning tools and simulating them. To find out the practicality of textbooks based on Character Learning and Scientific Approaches (PPBPKPS) that have been developed and validated by experts and published the first print, the problem is, " What is the practicality of the PPBPKPS book, seen from the one-to-one test and the small group test? The method used is part of research and development, the fourth phase. The research subjects were 6th semester students of Inderalaya and Palembang classes, data collection techniques using questionnaires, interviews, and tests, the data analysis used was descriptive statistical analysis. The level of practicality used refers to the following criteria. 1) impractical (0-54), 2) rather-practical (55-59), 3) quite practical (60-75), 4) practical (76-85), and 5) very practical (86-100). From the practicality test of PPBPKPS teaching materials, it can be seen from 4 aspects that are fulfilled namely: effective, creative, efficient, and interesting, the results of practicality values from one to one data obtained an average value of 80.05 and from the small group an average of 81.03 means this teaching material is classified as practical. Furthermore, these teaching materials can be used by students in lecturing activities and by teachers in the field.KEYWORDS: Teaching Material; Practicality; Character, Scientific

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of self-instruction technique in group counseling to reduce academic procrastination behavior. Purposive sampling technique was administered followed then by random assignment to determine the participants. The scale which is used 44 items from the Procrastination Assessment Scale for Students (PASS) that had previously been adapted and tested for the validity and reliability with Cronbach alpha 0.91. From the data, the score of academic procrastination behavior was obtained. Then it was categorized into three categories high, moderate, and low academic procrastination. The pre-test posttest control group design was applied to 14 students. Based on the independent t-test result, after being treated with self-instruction technique in group counseling, there were differences in the pretest mean of 84.00 and the posttest mean of 69.28. These results indicate a decrease in academic procrastination approximately 14.71, meaning that academic procrastination through the self-instruction technique decreased by 17.51%. Thus, this research shows that group counseling self-instruction technique effectively reduces academic procrastination behavior.

Abstract

Diagnostic tests have a very important role to provide information about the strengths and weaknesses of students related to a concept to be studied. This study aims to obtain an overview of the implementation of diagnostic tests carried out by Biology teachers in South Sumatra Province using the survey method. This study involved 86 Biology teachers in South Sumatra Province. Samples were taken using the convenience sampling method. Data collection by using e-questionnaire distributed through Google Form. The e-questionnaire consists of 25 questions developed from standard indicators of assessment, including planning, method selection, test instrument development, test implementation, test result management, test results reporting and the implications of these test results in the biology learning process in schools. The results of this study indicate that Biology teachers in South Sumatra have carried out routine diagnostic tests. The development of this diagnostic test instrument has also referred to the learning objectives and the results of the diagnostic test have been used to determine the methods, strategies, and approaches used in the learning process. Although in general the implementation of diagnostic tests in Biology learning is good, but the implementation and management of diagnostic tests that are very close to the learning process is feared will not have a significant effect on the implementation of the learning process in schools.
