This study aims to examine the implementation of the habituation of Dhuha prayer every Friday, the role of Dhuha prayer habituation in developing students’ religious and disciplined attitudes, as well as the supporting and inhibiting factors in its implementation at MTs Tarbiyah Waladiyah Pulau Banyak. This study employed a descriptive qualitative method. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving the head of the madrasah, teachers, and students who participated in the Dhuha prayer activities. The data were analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, while data validity was examined through source and technique triangulation. The results of the study showed three main findings. First, the habituation of Dhuha prayer every Friday was carried out routinely through preparation, implementation, and closing stages. Students were guided to prepare themselves, perform ablution, gather, perform Dhuha prayer, and receive guidance or advice from teachers. Second, the habituation of Dhuha prayer played a role in developing students’ religious and disciplined attitudes. Students became accustomed to performing worship, arriving on time, participating in activities orderly, maintaining calmness, obeying rules, and taking responsibility during the activities. Third, the supporting factors included the support of the head of the madrasah, teachers, students, madrasah regulations, a fixed activity schedule, and the availability of a place of worship. The inhibiting factors included some students arriving late, being less orderly, and requiring teacher supervision. Routine habituation accompanied by teacher guidance and assistance helps students develop worship habits, religious attitudes, discipline, and responsibility.
