Abstract

This community service has the aim of providing assistance in managing zakat fitrah reports at the Amil Zakat Infak and Shodaqoh Institution (LAZIS) using the Excel Application where previously data management was still using manual methods, assistance in using excel is useful to facilitate the management of the Amil Zakat Infak and Shodaqoh Institution (LAZIS) at the Al-Ikhlas Mosque. The method used in this assistance uses a qualitative descriptive approach, namely by using interviews, lectures, and direct training on the management of the Amil Zakat Infak and Shodaqoh Institution (LAZIS) using the excel application. After the assistance was held in the management of the Amil Zakat Infak and Shodaqoh Institution (LAZIS), the mosque administrators had knowledge and could operate excel in managing the data of the Amil Zakat Infak and Shodaqoh Institution (LAZIS) at the Al-Ikhlas Mosque, Joyo Grand Housing Rw 09, Merjosari Village, Lowokwaru Subdistrict, Malang so that the data was more accurate and data management was more efficient.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of motivation and family environment on the interest of Accounting students of Al-Qolam University in choosing a career as an accountant. In a dynamic working world, career choice is an important decision that is influenced by various factors, including individual intrinsic motivation and support from the family environment. This study uses a quantitative method by collecting data through a questionnaire to 15 Sharia Accounting students of Al-Qolam University. The data analysis technique used includes multiple linear regression tests to see the effect of the two independent variables (motivation and family environment) on the dependent variable (interest in becoming an accountant). The results of the study indicate that both motivation and family environment have a significant effect, both partially and simultaneously, on students' interest in becoming accountants. This finding has an important impact on the development of curriculum and educational strategies that can increase motivation and family support in supporting student careers in the field of sharia accounting.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini berupa pelaksanaan pelatihan pembuatan konten dan pemanfaatan live streaming yang ditujukan kepada siswa Praktik Kerja Lapangan (PKL) Jurusan Bisnis Daring dan Pemasaran di SMK PGRI Turen. Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk membekali siswa dengan keterampilan yang relevan dalam era digital, khususnya dalam menciptakan konten pemasaran yang menarik dan efektif melalui platform digital, serta memanfaatkan live streaming sebagai alat interaksi dan promosi bisnis. Metode dalam pengabdian ini adalah metode pelatihan dan pendampingan. Proses pengabdian dilakukan melalui 4 tahap yaitu proses perencanaan, pelatihan, pendampingan dan evaluasi. Hasil dari pelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan siswa dalam mengembangkan strategi pemasaran digital dan penggunaan teknologi live streaming secara optimal. Pemasaran produk secara online yang telah dipromosikan melalui konten serta live streaming memberikan pengalaman yang konkret sehingga siswa PKL mampu membuat konten sesuai dengan minat pasar seperti konten-konten yang FYP. Selain itu, para siswa PKL juga bisa menguasai live streaming serta pengoperasian aplikasi yang digunakan pada live streaming. Kesimpulannya, pelatihan ini berhasil meningkatkan kompetensi siswa dalam bidang bisnis daring dan pemasaran dan sekaligus mampu mempersiapkan mereka untuk memasuki dunia kerja dengan keahlian yang sesuai dengan tuntutan industri saat ini.

Abstract

Household accounting practices are crucial for effective financial management. Household accounting encompasses planning, recording, and decision-making. The purpose of this study is to determine the extent to which accounting instructors use accounting in household financial management and to determine the role of accounting in achieving the goal of a prosperous and harmonious household. The study was qualitative in nature and conducted using a phenomenological approach. Data analysis included data reduction, data presentation, and inference or verification. The study results indicate that household accounting planning is essential to ensure that expenses align with or do not exceed income. Recordkeeping is important, but the informant, the accounting instructor, did not yet record detailed accounting, only recording income earned, and this only at the beginning of the marriage. Family member involvement also plays a crucial role in decision-making to achieve short-term and long-term goals together, leading to a harmonious and cohesive family life.

Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of organization culture on budgetary slack with organizational commitment and budget participation as mediating variables. This research method uses a quantitative approach. The data collection technique is a questionnarie. The sample in this study uses purposive sampling that is 60 samples. The analysing technique of this study uses Smart PLS 3.0. The results of this study are organization culture that has a significant effect on organization commitment, organization culture has a significant effect on budgetary participation, organization commitment has a significant effect on budgetary slack, organization culture doesn't have a significant effect on budgetary slack, organization culture has an effect on budgetary slack mediated by organization commitment, and organization culture influence the budgetary slack which is mediated by budget participation.

Abstract

Scientific writing is a fundamental competency that must be mastered by students as part of the learning process and the development of knowledge. One of the major challenges in academic writing is the management of references, including the preparation of citations and bibliographies in accordance with academic standards. At the University of Al-Qolam Malang, many students still encounter difficulties in effectively utilizing reference management software, particularly Mendeley. To address this issue, a community service program was conducted in the form of Mendeley training for students, using a hands-on practice approach supported by active facilitation. The results of the activity indicate an improvement in students' digital literacy related to reference management, the ability to generate citations and bibliographies automatically, and an increased awareness of academic ethics. Furthermore, the program encouraged the emergence of an initiative to form a Mendeley user community as a sustainability effort. Recommendations include integrating Mendeley training into the curriculum, providing digital modules, offering advanced training, and strengthening institutional support through collaboration with strategic campus units. Therefore, this training contributes to enhancing the quality of students’ academic writing and fostering a technology-based academic culture within the University of Al-Qolam Malang.
