Abstract

Intervensi dilakukan dengan memutar murottal Al-Qur’an Surah Ar-Rahman selama 10–15 menit, sekali sehari, selama tiga hari berturut-turut.

Abstract

Kusuma Bagus Suseno, 2025. “The Impact of Electronic Medical Record Implementation on Patient Waiting Time at Outpatient Clinics of Dr. Harjono S. Regional Hospital, Ponorogo.” Scientific Paper, Advisor: Ani Rosita, S.Kep., Ns., M.Kes. Diploma III Program in Medical Records and Health Information, STIKES Buana Husada Ponorogo. The implementation of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) in healthcare facilities is one of the digitalization strategies aimed at improving efficiency and accelerating administrative processes. This study aims to determine the impact of EMR implementation on patient waiting times in several outpatient clinics at Dr. Harjono S. Regional Hospital, Ponorogo. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach using observation and interviews with staff in five clinics: Orthopedics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, ENT, Psychiatry, and Pediatrics. The analysis focused on comparing patient waiting times before and after the use of EMR. The results show that waiting times for returning patients decreased significantly due to quicker data access. However, waiting times for new patients remained relatively high due to the complexity of the data input process, including the entry of phone numbers and patient identification. Overall, EMR has had a positive impact by speeding up services and simplifying patient data retrieval. Nonetheless, simplifying the data input process for new patients and enhancing operator training remain necessary.

Electronic Medical Records (EMR) are an important component in supporting the digital transformation of healthcare services, aiming to improve the effectiveness, efficiency, and accuracy of patient medical data management in hospitals. This study aims to determine the readiness of EMR implementation at Budi Asih Hospital Trenggalek using the Fishbone Diagram method as an analytical tool to identify factors influencing implementation readiness. This research employed a descriptive method with a qualitative approach to explore the EMR implementation process comprehensively. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and direct observations involving 20 informants who actively used the EMR system in their daily activities. The results showed that EMR implementation readiness at Budi Asih Hospital was influenced by five main factors: man (human resources), material (tools), machine (data), method (procedures), and money (budget). Healthcare workers and administrative staff were able to operate the EMR system effectively, supported by regular training and workshops. Supporting equipment and systems were available and maintained periodically to ensure stability. Data management was conducted accurately and timely through routine audits to maintain data quality. The hospital also had clear Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and budget allocation to support EMR sustainability. Overall, Budi Asih Hospital demonstrated good readiness in implementing EMR and is prepared to further develop the system to improve healthcare service quality.
