Abstract

COVID 19 merupakan penyakit saluran pernafasan yang menjadi pandemic global sejak awal tahun 2020. Hingga saat ini sudah 15,6 juta penduduk dunia terinfeksi COVID 19. Untuk mencegah penyebaran dan penularan COVID 19 dapat dimulai dari diri sendiri dengan menggunakan masker, menjaga jarak, dan mencuci tangan.  Peran perawat sebagai educator sangat diperlukan saat ini terutama dalam memberikan edukasi kepada masyarakat untuk dapat mencegah penyebaran dan penularan COVID 19, salah satunya dengan mencuci tangan. Kegiatan ini merupakan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat tematik di lingkungan Universitas Syiah Kuala yang telah melalui proses perizinan dari Satgas COVID 19 Unsyiah untuk dilaksanakan oleh dosen Fakultas Keperawatan. Implementasi kegiatan pengabmas tematik ini dimulai dengan  pembuatan  video edukasi cuci tangan yang terdiri atas 5 (lima) scene dan pembuatan Hand Sanitizer bekerjasama dengan FMIPA Unsyiah. Tujuan dari pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah meningkatakan pemahaman masyarakat khususnya penghuni panti tentang kebersihan tangan untuk mencegah penularan COVID-19. Hasil dari pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini didapatkan peningkatan pengetahuan penghuni panti  yang ditunjukan dengan kemampuan para penghuni panti melakukan kembali proses mencuci tangan yang benar menurut standar WHO dan penggunaan Handsanitizer dengan tepat.

Abstract

This research aimed at identifying the language that dominantly used rather than other languages in Indonesian movies titles 2016. Clearly, it intended to see the used of English, the forms of language hegemony of English and the tendency of title characteristics in Indonesian movies titles 2016. The method used in this research was descriptive. The data of this research were the words, phrases or clauses as the titles of Indonesian movies in 2016. In other word, the research data consisted of 131 titles. From the 131 titles, it was found 80 data of forms of langauge hegemony of English. Based on the research finding, the dominant language used in Indonesian movies titles 2016 is Indonesian language that was about 76 titles (58%). Moreover, it also showed that there were four forms of language hegemony of English found in Indonesian movies titles 2016. It also can be an evidence of the existence of language hegemony of English in Indonesian movies titles. The four forms were code switching, code mixing, borrowing word and language interference. Meanwhile, the most frequent characteristics of the Indonesian movies titles were concise and accurate which means that Indonesian movies titles 2016 contained the story of the movies obviously.

Abstract

Penelitian yang berjudul “HubunganKeseimbangan dengan Ketepatan Memanah pada Atlet Perpani Aceh Tahun 2016”.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan keseimbangan dengan ketepatan memanah pada atlet Perpani Aceh tahun 2016.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif, dengan teknik analisis korelasional.Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah atlet Perpani Aceh tahun 2016 yang berjumlah 18 orang.Penentuan sampel dilakukan dengan mengambil keseluruhan populasi (total sampling) yaitu sebanyak 18 orang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tes keseimbangan (stork stand tes) dan  tes ketepatan memanah. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik analisis korelasional dengan  rumusproduct moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara keseimbangan dengan ketepatan memanah (r = 0,54) keseimbangan memberi kontribusi sebesar 29,16% terhadap ketepatan memanah pada atlet Perpani Aceh Tahun 2016, dan sisanya sebesar 70,84% dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor lainnya.Kata Kunci :Keseimbangan, Ketepatan Memanah

Abstract

That there are many grammatical features of English which are different from those of bahasa Indonesia and of other local languages in Indonesia should be academically and culturally understood by EFL learners in Indonesia. Most EFL learners say that they have known grammatical features and functions concerning with the English tenses, but some facts tell that they fail to use the appropriate tenses in speaking and in writing short texts. This condition was found at the English Department of FKIP Universitas Bung Hatta, Padang. This paper discusses the cultural-academic gaps commonly faced by the EFL learners at the English Department of FKIP Universitas Bung Hatta, Padang. The discussion of this paper is based on the questions: (i) what are the grammatical problems made by the English Department students of FKIP Universitas Bung Hatta in writing essays concerning with the use of English tenses?; (ii) do they face cultural and academic gaps in understanding and using the English tenses appropriately?; and (iii) why do they face such cultural and academic gaps? The data and discussion presented in this paper are based on the results of pre-research conducted on January 2012, as a part of stages of a Research and Development (R & D) conducted at the English Department of FKIP Universitas Bung Hatta, Padang. Abstract

The typological dichotomy of grammatical structures of languages in the world as accusative and ergative languages gets “challenged” from linguistics data of Minangkabaunese. There are types of grammatical structures of clauses in this local language which has grammatical properties as accusative constructions and others are ergative ones. The ideas of split-S and fluid-S become other typological analyses that could be used to learn the grammatical properties of Minangkabaunese. Another grouping of languages which needs further proof is that the ‘mixed’ or ’neutral’ languages. This paper discusses the syntactical phenomena of Minangkabaunese as a ‘mixed’or ’neutral’ language based on grammatical typology theoretical framework.

Abstract

Most EFL learners in Indonesia have already known that English grammatically has active and passive con-structions. However, the so called medio-passive constructions in English have not been seriously introduced and understood by many EFL learners; they do not have sufficient knowledge and “grammatical conscious-ness” on the stylistic constructions, then. The lack of understanding and grammatical consciousness may raise academic and psychological problems on English grammar. Such lack of grammatical consciousness may academically affect both learners’ and teachers’ competency standards. Many students cannot use gram-matical and communicative English appropriately in academic and practical uses. This paper briefly dis-cusses the academic need for grammatical consciousness on the medio-passive constructions as part of learn-ers’ and teachers’ competency standards in EFL, particularly in multilingual speakers like in Indonesia. Abstract

This research is motivated by dynamic social relationships, namely relationships between individuals, groups, or groups with groups, where these relationships have a reciprocal relationship. The movie 2037 was chosen because it has aspects of social interaction that occur in one environment, namely prisoners in a detention cell. This research aims to describe social interaction and also the forms of social interaction that occur in the movie 2037 directed by Mo Hong Jin. The results of this study found associative and dissociative forms of social interaction. The results are presented in the form of images, per-scene dialogue and gestures in each scene analyzed for denotation and connotation signs in the film 2037. Signs are displayed through several aspects such as the setting of the film, shooting techniques, scenes performed by character players and dialog between characters. These aspects then helped build the movie's storyline which resulted in a form of social interaction. Keywords: Film; Semiotics; Social Interaction;

Abstract

Ruang perawatan intensive care merupakan unit pelayanan kesehatan yang menerima pasien kritis di rumah sakit. Caring merupakan esensi keperawatan yang harus dilakukan oleh perawat dalam melakukan asuhan pelayanan keperawatan. Salah satu hal yang harus dimiliki perawat di ruangan intensive care adalah perilaku caring terhadap semua pasien. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran perilaku caring perawat di ruang perawatan intensive care RSUD Meuraxa. Jenis penelitian kuantitafif dengan desain penelitian yang digunakan yaitu cross sectional, teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode total sampling dengan jumlah responden 50 perawat dalam waktu penelitian 7 hari. Alat pengumpulan data berupa kuesioner Caring Behavior Inventory (CBI) dengan 42 pertanyaan yang diukur berdasarkan persepsi perawat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perilaku caring perawat di RSUD Meuraxa yaitu sebanyak 43 orang (86%) dalam kategori perilaku caring baik sedangkan pada kategori perilaku caring cukup yaitu sebanyak 7 orang (14%). Perilaku caring pada perawat dapat menciptakan kepuasan pasien terhadap pelayanan asuhan keperawatan. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa perilaku caring dalam kategori tinggi pada seluruh perawat intensive care di RSUD Meuraxa.
