Abstract

It is important to do research on public sentiment towards microtakaful presence in a country in order to know public response to its existence. This study aimed to determine public sentiment towards microtakaful in Indonesia and in Malaysia. Data were collected from 40 articles, journals and other writings. Data were analyzed using the software Semantria as an analytical tool in the form of text. The results showed that the assessment of existence of microtakaful in Indonesia amounted to 52% of the community showed positive sentiment, 28% indicate negative sentiment and 20% indicates a neutral sentiment. While in Malaysia that 62% showed positive sentiment, 23% negative sentiment and 15% neutral sentiment.

Abstract

This research was conducted to examine Islamic Financial Technology in the scope of the economy in terms of scientific research in journals published and indexed by Scopus. The method used is sentiment analysis from secondary data in the form of 66 journals published in the last five years and then processed using Ms. software. Excel 2016 and SentiStrength. The results showed that Islamic Financial Technology in the scientific literature has increased. The results of the sentiment analysis show that there is a tendency for a neutral perception in the scientific literature towards Islamic Financial Technology, with a neutral sentiment of 53%. Then followed by negative sentiment by 24%. Then the positive sentiment whose results are not much different from the negative sentiment, namely the positive sentiment of 23%. The benefit of this research is for literature material and considerations related to Islamic Financial Technology. As well as efforts to find out the threats, negative perceptions, and shortcomings of Islamic Financial Technology. In addition, to find out positive perceptions, advantages and benefits of Islamic Financial Technology.

Abstract

This bibliometric study investigated the current state of documents on Islamic financial technology published by digital object identifier equipped journals listed in Dimension. The analysis focused on the description of characterictics and trends of the keywords, authors and journals. The data analyzed were 229 publications of research publications in Dimension (https://dimension.ai). The searches used to establish the study dataset were last updated on 30 January 2021. Descriptive statistical methods were used, and a bibliometric analysis was conducted using the R Biblioshiny to find out the bibliometric map. The number of articles discussing the theme of Islamic fintech has been quite large in recent years. There are many journals that publish this theme, among which the most impactful is the SSRN Electronic Journal which has many authors who research regarding this theme with various keywords. The most popular keywords used are ‘Islamic, Fintech, Financial’. This study provides an overview of trends in the most popular keywords, journals and authors in articles on the topic of Islamic fintech, thus providing information for researchers focused on research in the field of Islamic finance. In the end, this theme has the potential to continue to be developed.

Abstract

This study aims to look at sentiments related to developments halal medical tourism in scientific publications published on the theme. This study uses a qualitative method with a sentiment analysis approach. The data used is secondary data with the theme “halal medical tourism” obtained from the Scopus database of 100 scientific publications. Data is processed using software SentiStrength for extracting and classifying sentiments. The results of the study found that positive sentiment was the highest with a percentage of 47%, followed by neutral sentiment with 36% and positive sentiment with a percentage of 17%. The increasing demand for halal trends, positive Muslim-friendly innovations and large business potential are reasons for positive sentiment. Meanwhile, there is no international sharia standard for providers medical tourism and related community literacy halal medical tourism still very low to be a negative issue.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the map of the development of research on the theme of halal tourism during the COVID-19 pandemic published by digital object identifier-equipped journals. The study was conducted in November 2020. The data analyzed were more than 50 published papers. The object of study is a published journal published in 2020. The data is then processed and analyzed using the VOSviewer application program to determine the bibliometric mapping of the development of halal tourism research. The results showed that the most popular countries used as the object of study were Indonesia with 18 papers and Malaysia with 13 papers. The research development map of this theme is divided into 4 clusters. Cluster 1 consists of 11 topics, cluster 2 consists of 11 topics, cluster 3 consists of 10 topics and cluster 4 consists of 8 topics. The findings from this study indicate that the halal tourism sector is also affected by COVID-19 and various countries have made efforts to minimize this impact. The adverse effects of COVID-19 have quite an impact on the halal tourism sector today and in the future, this is because visitors and tourists are reluctant to travel because they are worried about health risks despite the COVID-19 pandemic has ended. However, players in the halal tourism sector must continue to make improvements, by continuing to improve the facilities provided to support health insurance.
