Abstract

The important thing for regions that have not been recently established such as South Tangerang City is sustainable economic growth. This study aims to identify and analyze the leading sectors in South Tangerang and to project the South Tangerang City Gross Domestic Product in 2017. The data used in the form of the total value added of goods and services resulting from all the economic activities of South Tangerang City and Banten Province economists based on constant prices in 2000. The analysis method uses the Location Quotient (LQ) model and Shift - Share analysis. Based on the Location Quotion (LQ) method, the base sector is nine sectors, namely (1) the Construction Sector; (2) The sector of large and retail trade, and repair of cars and motorbikes; (3) the sector of providing accommodation and drinking meals; (4) information and communication sector; (5) real estate sector; (6) company service sector; (7) educational services sector; (8) health services sector and social activities; (9) other service sectors. Overall, South Tangerang City has the most superior sector in the real-estate sector. It can be concluded that this sector has a competitive advantage and comparative advantage.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis (1) pengaruh pendidikan kewirausahaan terhadap minat berwirausaha di kalangan mahasiswa pada FEB UMJ, (2) pengaruh lingkungan terhadap minat berwirausaha di kalangan mahasiswa pada FEB UMJ, dan (3) pengaruh pendidikan kewirausahaan dan lingkungan secara bersama-sama terhadap minat berwirausaha di kalangan mahasiswa pada FEB UMJ. Jenis penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif dengan metode kuantitatif, dengan jumlah resonden sebanyak 152 mahasiswa FEB UMJ semester 5 (lima) yang telah menempuh mata kuliah kewirausahaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) pendidikan kewirausahaan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat berwirausaha di kalangan mahasiswa, (2) lingkungan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat berwirausaha di kalangan mahasiswa, dan (3) pendidikan kewirausahaan dan lingkungan secara bersama-sama berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat berwirausaha di kalangan mahasiswa

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the leading sectors that have competitive competitiveness and specialization in Banten Province and determine the base sector’s priority as information and consideration, especially for the Banten Provincial Government in developing the economic development of Banten Province in the future. In addition to projecting the value of the Gross Regional Domestic Product of Banten Province in 2020. The data used in the form of sectoral Gross Regional Domestic Product of Banten Province and Indonesia's sectoral Gross Domestic Product based on constant prices in 2010 in the form of time series from 2010 to 2019 obtained from the Central Statistics Agency of Banten Province and the Central Statistics Agency of Indonesia. The data was then analyzed with a quantitative descriptive approach using the Location Quotient (LQ) model and Shift-Share analysis. Based on the LQ and Shift Share methods, there are 2 leading sectors in Banten Province, namely the Water Supply, Waste Management, Waste and Recycling sector, and the construction sector. Both sectors have an LQ above 1, which means that the sector is a base sector. In addition, the sector has positive Proportional Shift and Differential Shift which means the sector is growing fast and has a locational advantage. However, of the two sectors, when viewed nationally, the most superior share is in the construction sector because it has the highest national share value.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of liquidity ratio, leverage and profitability on financial distress before and after the Covid-19 pandemic, as well as to analyze the difference in liquidity, leverage and profitability on financial distress before and after Covid-19. This study uses data from retail companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2016-2023 period, where 2016-2019 is the pre-pandemic period and 2020-2023 is the post-pandemic period. Financial distress is measured using the springate method (s-score), for liquidity using the current ratio, leverage using the debt to equity ratio and profitability using return on assets. The results of the study show that liquidity has a significant effect on financial distress before the Covid-19 pandemic, but does not have a significant effect on financial distress after the Covid-19 pandemic. Leverage did not have a significant effect on financial distress before and after the Covid-19 pandemic. Profitability has a significant effect on the financial distress before and after the Covid-19 pandemic in the retail subsector listed on the IDX. Liquidity, leverage, and profitability simultaneously had a significant effect on financial distress before and after the Covid-19 pandemic in the retail subsector listed on the IDX. There was a significant difference between leverage against financial distress before and after the Covid-19 pandemic, but there was no significant difference between liquidity and profitability against financial distress before and after the Covid-19 pandemic in the retail subsector listed on the IDX.
