Abstract

This study aims to Know the Fishermen Welfare Level in Bantur District, Malang Regency. This research was conducted in Bantur District, Malang Regency. The population in this study were fishermen who were in Bantur District, Malang Regency, especially labor fishermen. The sample in this study was 30 families, especially labor fishermen. Data collection techniques used were questionnaires. The data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative analysis. The results showed the level of welfare of fishermen measured using the Fisherman Exchange Rate (NTN) of labor fishermen in Bantur District, Malang Regency which was 154 where > 100, it can be said that all respondents were prosperous. Fishermen Exchange Rates are fluctuating, where the size is greatly influenced by the season, the lack of electricity supply, bad weather conditions and the scarcity of fuel supplied to fishing vessels. including fishing gear that has expired.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Non Performing Loans (NPL), Operational Costs to Operating Income (BOPO), Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR) and Net Interest Margin (NIM) on profitability measured by Return On Asset (ROA) of National private foreign exchange bank in BEI. The analytical tool used is a combined panel data regression analysis method between the time series data of 2014-2018 and cross-section data  6 National private foreign exchange bank in BEI by using the Common Effects model. The results showed that the CAR had a positive and not significant effect on bank profitability (ROA), NPL had a positive and significant effect on bank profitability (ROA), BOPO had a negative effect and significant to bank profitability (ROA), LDR has negative and not significant effect on bank profitability (ROA)and NIM has a positive and not significant effect on bank profitability (ROA).  value of 0.98 (98%) which means as much as 98% changes in bank profitability can be explained by the independent variables that exist while 2% is explained by other causes outside the research model.

Abstract

This aims of this reseach to analyze the effect of  sector of tourism on absorption of labor in East Java Province in 2012-2018 (Study case: Regency/City in East Java Province). This research used secondary  and the data obtained from the Tourism Office of East Java Province, the Office of Manpower and Transmigration of East Java Province and the Central Statistics Agency of East Java Province. The analysis technique in this research is panel data analysis wich is prossed using Random Effect Model (REM) . The dependent variable in this study is labor in the tourism sector in the Regency/City East Java Province in 2012-2018, while independent variables is the number of hotels, the number of restaurants, the number of tourism objects and number of tourists in the Regency / City of East Java Province in 2012. -2018. In this reseach, it is found that the variables number of hotels, the number of restaurants, the number of Tourism objects a positive and significantly. However, for the variable number of tourists a positive but does not effect absorption of labor in the tourism sector in the Regency / City of East Java Province.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine inequality and the leading economic sector in Muaro Jambi district with a period of 5 years from 2016 to 2020. The research method used is to use the Williamsom index calculation and Static Location Quotient by taking secondary data obtained from sources. Central Bureau of Statistics Muaro Jambi. The results of the study show that inequality is increasing from 2016 to 2020 from the calculation of the Williamson index. Meanwhile, from the calculation of the Static Location Quotient , the leading sectors in Muaro Jambi district are the agriculture, forestry and fishery sectors, processing industry, transportation and warehousing, and other services. The non-leading sectors in Muaro Jambi district are mining and quarrying, electricity and gas supply, water supply, waste management, waste and recycling, construction, wholesale and retail trade, car and motorcycle repair, accommodation and food and drink provision, information and communication, financial and insurance services, real estate, corporate services, government administration, defense and compulsory social security, education services, and health services and social activities.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the effect of labor and capital expenditure on economic growth by using data from 35 regencies/cities in Central Java years of 2010-2019. The method was used multiple linear regression by panel data and hypothesis test. This study showed that the labor and capital expenditure variable is positively related and significant to economic growth in regencies/cities Centra Java. To summarize, the government was supposed to grow labor totals through education, training, and experience and add a job to reduce unemployment. The government was supposed to maximize capital expenditures to assist Central Java's facilities and infrastructure regencies/cities.

Abstract

Pemerintah mentargetkan 10 juta UMKM menggunakan platform online pada akhir tahun 2020. Pedagang pasar tradisional merupakan salah satu target pemerintah agar dapat berjualan secara online. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah melatih dan mendampingi pedagang pasar tradisional Landungsari agar dapat berjualan secara online melalui aplikasi Instagram dan Facebook bisnis. Pelatihan dimulai dari teknik membuat akun Instagram bisnis dan facebook bisnis, memfoto produk, mengupload foto/video, teknik mencari pelanggan, teknik packaging dan pengiriman produk. Kegiatan dilaksanakan saat mewabahnya virus covid 19 yang berdampak pada turunnya omzet penjualan para pedagang rata-rata 40-60%. Mitra pengabdian yaitu Tedi Setono penjual sayuran dengan omzet penjualan berkisar 4 - 5 juta rupiah per hari, namun saat covid ini turun menjadi 1-2 juta rupiah. Ibu iis penjual makanan beku dengan omzet per hari sebelum covid berkisar 5 - 7 juta rupiah, selama covid menurun menjadi 4-5 juta rupiah. Setelah diberi pelatihan penjualan online, hasil pelatihan adalah meningkatnya penjualan rata-rata sebesar 10-40%, walaupun tidak sebanyak seperti sebelum adanya covid 19. Penjualan online terbukti mampu meningkatkan omzet pedagang pasar, sehingga diharapkan pedagang lain melakukan penjualannya secara online disamping offline. Abstract

The manufacturing industry in East Java has an important role in supporting the economy so that its development must be evenly distributed throughout all districts and cities. This research aims to: 1) measuring the performance of the manufacturing industry, 2) mapping the growth patterns of the manufacturing industry, 3) describing which district/cities in East Java have the potential to be developed and 4) knowing which variables determine the performance of the manufacturing industry. The research objects are 9 cities and 29 districts. The data used is secondary data sourced from the Central Statistics Agency. The data is processed by sharing output contribution analysis, labor absorption contribution, Klassen typology analysis and panel data regression analysis. The results showed that the performance of the industrial sector was very low and uneven between regions, the rate of employment in the industrial sector was also low in all regions. The growth pattern of the industrial sector in 22 districts/cities in the Relatively Underdeveloped classification and 15 districts/cities in the Potential classification and 1 district in the Forward Depressed classification. Inflation variables and the number of business units have a significant effect on industry performance.  For this reason, it is recommended that local governments be able to control the inflation rate and be able to provide stimulus or policies to the industrial sector in order to increase productivity and performance.

Abstract

The introduction of a product through a brand or brand that is easily remembered and recognized by consumers will have an impact on the development of the business. "Atiqa Handycraft" is one of the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises that are members of the Family Welfare Improvement Business Group in Lowokwaru District, Malang City which produces bags, wallets, masks, book covers and mukena. Atiqa Handycraft's products are of good quality but have not been able to enter stores because there is no brand yet. In this mentoring activity, Partners are given an explanation of the importance of a Mark and are assisted on how to register a trademark. The results of the activity are the design of the Atiqa's brand and assistance for trademark registration to the Office of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises of Malang City.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the extent to which the success of economic development in North Maluku Province and the influence of population, investment and government expenditure on per capita income in North Maluku province. The method used in this study using panel data regression analysis method. The results of this study indicate that the level of development success achieved by North Maluku Province so far can be said to have progressed but is relatively slow. While the results of the panel data regression research show that partially, the Population and Government Expenditures have a positive and significant effect on Per capita Income. Meanwhile, investment has a positive and insignificant effect on per capita income. Simultaneously, the Population, Investment and Government Expenditure have a significant positive effect on the City and District Per capita Income in North Maluku Province in 2016-2020.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of economic growth, population and inflation on unemployment rates in five ASEAN countries. This study uses a quantitative approach method. The data analysis tool used is multiple linear regression analysis using panel data through the help of Software Eviews 9. The results of this study indicate that partially, the economic growth variabel has a negative and significant effect on unemployment, the population variabel has a negative and significant effect on unemployment. Inflation has a positive and significant effect on unemployment. Simultaneously, economic growth, population and inflation have a positive and significant impact on unemployment in five ASEAN countries in 2009-2020.
