Abstract

This research is aimed at studying the influence of medium and large industries on poverty levels in Gresik on 2002-2016. The variables used in this study is medium and large industries, a labour of medium and large industries, gross regional domestic product (GRDP) of industrial sector and poverty rate. The method used in this study used multiple linear regression and used time-series data. The results of this study simultaneously are the variables of the amount of medium and large industries, the labour medium and large industries, and the gross regional domestic product (GRDP) of the industrial sector to poverty rate is significant. While medium and large industries to poverty rate have negative and insignificant effect with a coefficient value of -0,208905. The labour of medium and large industries to poverty rate has a positive and significant effect with a coefficient value of 0,130822,  the gross regional domestic product (GRDP) of industrial to poverty rate has a negative and significant effect with a coefficient value of -0,169431.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the development and distribution of each variable, as well as the effect of the variable Land Area and Productivity on Rice Production in each Province and island in Indonesia for the period 2011-2016. The analytical tool used is panel data regression. From the test results obtained the coefficient of determination R ^ 2 for the fixed effect model of 0.997. This shows that the ability of independent variables in explaining the dependent variable is 99.7%. The results of the study concluded that simultaneous planting of land area, and productivity had a positive and significant effect on rice production, with the results of the statistical F test of 1960,397 greater than the F table of 3,30. While the partial test results show that land area and productivity have a positive and significant effect on rice production in Indonesia.

Abstract

Economic growth is one indicator that is used as a benchmark for the success of the development of an area in East Java whether it has increased or decreased. This study aims to determine how much influence or variables that can influence economic growth in East Java. The analytical tool used in this study is multiple linear regression with time series data interpolated with statistical measurements using Eviews computer by using the classic assumption test and the F t-test analysis. In the results of research that have been carried out it is known that the processing industry has a positive and significant influence on economic growth in East Java with the results of the coefficient 24.73977 and the probability result of 0.0117 as the labor variable which also has a positive and significant effect with the results obtained the regression coefficient is 45.17394 and the probability result is 0.0229 while the inflation variable has a negative and significant effect on economic growth with the results of the regression coefficient of -0.251741 with a probability  result of 0.0043.

Abstract

In the province of East Kalimantan, poverty is a problem that still cannot be overcome. Poverty in the province of East Kalimantan from year to year is still high, which is not in line with economic growth which is also high in East Kalimantan compared to other Kalimantan Provinces. Poverty is high due to unemployment which is also high and government spending also affects poverty in East Kalimantan. The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of unemployment, economic growth, and government spending on poverty in East Kalimantan Province. The data used are secondary data derived from the statistical body (bps) of East Kalimantan and odjk of the finance ministry. The method of analysis uses panel data analysis and fixed-effect models. The results of this study indicate that simultaneous unemployment, economic growth, and government spending affect poverty in East Kalimantan Province. The unemployment variable has a positive and significant effect on poverty, the economic growth variable has a negative and significant effect on poverty, while the government expenditure variable has a negative and significant effect on poverty in East Kalimantan

Abstract

Poverty is an issue that must be resolved by a country, especially developing countries. Poverty is also influenced by many factors such as income, health, education, unemployment and access to goods and services. The study research the effect of literacy rate, life expectancy, and an unemployment rate of poverty every province in Java Island in 2014-201. The research uses quantitative method. Data analysis using the panel data model by common effect, fixed effect and random effect. While for the best estimation model using chow test, Hausman test and LM test. The results of this study indicate that the best estimation model this study is a random effect model, which means literacy rate significantly negative effect on poverty, life expectancy significant positive effect on poverty, and unemployment rate significantly positive effect on poverty. Therefore, the government is expected to improve the quality of a strong planning strategy so that is can be achieved the purpose for the welfare of the poor, which is a form of success in developing a country.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the level of welfare of shrimp farm farmers in Kalisogo Village, Jabon District, Sidoarjo Regency and determine the effect of price variables, production variables, and land area variabels on Farmer exchange rates. This type of research is quantitative research. The population in this study was 187 shrimp farm farmers in Kalisogo Village, Jabon District, Sidoarjo Regency and the sample of this study was 38 respondents in shrimp pond farmers in Kalisogo Village, Jabon District, Sidoarjo Regency. The technical analysis used is multiple linear regression and the farmer exchange rate method. The results of this study indicate that the production variable has a positive effect on the farmer exchange rate variable and the land area variable has a positive effect on the farmer exchange rate variable while the price variable has no significant effect on the farmer exchange rate variable. the farmer exchange rate method if more than 100 then experiences a surplus of the overall yield of 102,84 which means that the farmer exchange rate is fulfilled and can be further developed.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the number of MSMEs and labors of MSMEs to the poverty of East Java during the period 2017-2018. The variables dependent used in this study is the number of poverty in East Java, while the independent variable are number of MSMEs and labor of MSMEs in East Java This study used panel data regression analysis techniques. The selected model in this study by Chow Test and Hausman Test is fixed effect method (FEM). The data used in this research is secondary data. The results of this study indicate a Prob (F-statistic) value of 0.000000. It can be said that simultaneously the variable number of MSMEs and labor of MSMEs have an effect on poverty of East Java. A value Determinasi Coeficient (R2) is 65.65% Panel data regression calculation results in this study indicate that a variable number of MSMEs with t-Statistics amounted to -7.677828  and probability amounted to 0,0000 means variable number of MSMEs have a negative influence and significant impact on poverty, while the variable labor MSMEs with t-Statistics amounted to -0.971239 and probability amounted to 0,3379 means variable number labor of MSMEs has no effect on poverty. Partially, the variable Number of MSMEs and number labor of MSMEs with F-Probability amounted to 0.000000 so that it can be concluded that the two variables have a positive and significant effect on poverty
