Abstract

Poverty  is  a  global  problem  that  is  experienced  by  many  developing  countries,including Indonesia. One thing that has been done to overcome poverty is the provision of direct assistance to people living below the poverty line. However, the provision of assistance to the poor people are often not well targeted, because the data is inaccurate or not up to date. Another cause is the number of criteria that must be evaluated for the determination of poor people who deserve to get help. Use of Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) can facilitate the determination of the poor based on the criteria specified. SAW is one method used to solve the problem that  has  many  attributes  (Multiple Attribute Decision  Making).  In this  study  we developed a SAW-based Decision Support System that can assist in determining the eligible poor people to get help. With the help of this system, the distribution of   aid will be better targeted.

Abstract

The fingerprint recognition system is one of the biometric technologies that can be used in identifying a person. The fingerprint has a midpoint called the core point. Core Point has a very important role because it will serve as one of the parameters in the process of identification and classification of fingerprints at the stage of feature extraction process. Core Point is also one of the important parameters in determining the fingerprint formula. In this research,  a technique will be developed to determine the midpoint automatically using the poincare index algorithm. The first stage is the pre-processing of the fingerprint image which includes (1) the grayscaling process (converting the color image to black and white image); (2) normalization process (improving image quality when image is too dark or too bright); (3) binary process (the threshold used is 80% of the average). The second stage is to identify the location of core points through several stages: (1) making block orientation; (2) smooth orientation process; (3) determination of core point using poincare index algorithm. The output of this research will be the obtained core point (midpoint) of the fingerprint which will be used for further fingerprint identification

Abstract

Informatics is one of the study programs at STIKI Malang which has quite large student data both data on active students and students who have graduated. Every year students who graduate on time are far less than new students, which will affect the quality of students and also influence to the accreditation of STIKI Malang. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to make an application to predict the duration of study and the predicate of student graduation by applying supervised learning techniques. Output predictions for the period of study are on time, late, or not graduated and output for predicate are summa cum laude, cum laude, very satisfying, or satisfying. The application method used in supervised learning for prediction is a Naïve Bayes algorithm. This is used to analyze data, especially in the pattern recognition process, predicting the period of study and the predicate of graduation. Before entering the calculation phase of the Naive Bayes algorithm, the Correlation Feature Selection is used to select relevant features that function to improve the accuracy of the system. The results of the study based on 10 Fold Cross Validation testing indicate that the application can be used to assist informatics study programs in order to find strategic information related to the duration of study and the predicate of student graduation with an accuracy of 77.19% and 87.65%.Keywords: Prediction, Naïve Bayes, Study Periods, Correlation Feature Selection, 10 Fold Cross Validation

Abstract

This study aims to build an aquaponics automation tool to simplify the control of fish and vegetable cultivation. The objects that were taken in this study were nile tilapia and choy sum. In this study, testing was carried out in an aquarium and hydroponic pipe to control nutrition, water turbidity, light, pH, feed, and temperature. The main tools used to build this automation include Arduino ESP-32, GY-302 Ambient Light Intensity Sensor, DFRobot Gravity Analog pH Sensor, DS18B20 temperature sensor, 3-6V DC R140 DC motor, Relay Module6 Chanel 12V, RTC Module. DS130 and SR04 Ultrasonic Sensor. After the system testing process, it can be concluded that this tool can support the process of cultivating nile tilapia and choy sum properly and make it easier for farmers to monitor aquaponics.

Abstract

ABSTRAKIjazah dan transkrip akademik merupakan dokumen utama yang digunakan oleh lulusan untuk mencari pekerjaan. Namun, dokumen tersebut tidak dapat menunjukkan kemampuan kerja, penguasaan pengetahuan, sikap/moral lulusan, prestasi dan kompetensi lulusan yang dibutuhkan oleh perusahaan. Peraturan menteri 81 tahun 2014 menyatakan bahwa selain ijazah dan transkrip akademik, lulusan akan menerima Surat Keterangan Pendamping Ijazah(SKPI) yang merupakan pernyataan resmi dari perguruan tinggi yang berisi informasi tentang prestasi akademik atau kualifikasi lulusan. SKPI memberi kemudahan bagi perusahaan dalam menentukan perekrutan, tetapi menyulitkan bagi perguruan tinggi dalam pembuatannya, karena data kualifikasi lulusan tersebar di beberapa bagian. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah merancang prototype sistem informasi yang dapat membantu mengintegrasikan bagian terkait untuk mengelola data kualifikasi lulusan sehingga pembuatan SPKI dapat dilakukan secara otomatis melalui sistem. Sistem yang dirancang berbasis web dengan menggunakan mysql sebagai database manajemen sistem. Melalui sistem ini, masing-masing bagian akan memperoleh kemudahan dalam pengelolaan data kualifikasi mahasiswa seperti kegiatan ilmiah dan kompetisi, keaktifan berorganisasi, sertifikasi dan pembuatan dokumen SKPI. Sistem juga dilengkapi dengan fasilitas pengecekan keabsahan data yang dapat mempermudah pihak industri dalam menentukan perekruitan tenaga kerja.Kata kunci : Sistem, Kompetensi, Lulusan, SKPI. ABSTRACTDiploma certificate and academic transcript are documents that are used by graduates to find work. The documents can not demonstrate the ability to work, mastery of the knowledge, attitudes / moral of graduates, achievement and competence of graduates as required by the company. This is an obstacle for the industry to decide acceptance of a job application. The ministerial Regulation number 81 of 2014 states that in addition to diplomas and academic transcripts, graduates will receive addional certificate namely SKPI, which is an official statement from the college, containing information about academic achievement or graduate qualifications.The SKPI facilitates the company in determining recruitment but makes it difficult for universities to collect data spread across several sections.The purpose of this research is to design an information system prototype that can help integrate related parts to manage graduate qualification data so that SPKI making can be done automatically through the system.The proposed system is a web-based system using mysql as a database management system. Through this system, each section will gain ease in managing student qualification. The system is also equipped with facilities to check the validity of data that can facilitate the industry in determining the labor recruitment.Keywords : System, Competency, Graduates, SKPI

Abstract

In early 2020, the world was shocked by an outbreak of a new pneumonia that started in Wuhan, Hubei Prov-ince, which then spread rapidly to more than 190 countries and regions. This outbreak is named coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) caused by Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2). The spread of this disease has had a wide social and economic impact. Meanwhile, in an effort to break the chain of the virus, by avoiding people who are sick with fever and in direct contact with humans, therefore ideas and ideas were created to try to build a body temperature detection device for minimarkets or public places that do not have officers to check. body temperature of incoming visitors. It also reduces physical contact between hu-mans, which will later be connected to the automatic door and water sink. The purpose of building this tool is to support and participate in stopping the spread of the virus so that it does not spread and ends soon.

Abstract

Futsal is currently a sport that is in great demand by various ages in Indonesia, including in Malang. With the development of the sport of futsal, it has also had a positive impact on business people, many of whom take advantage of this condition to open business land, one of which is making futsal fields for rent. Futsal field rental service providers are competing to attract enthusiasts with the various facilities offered. However, all of these are not supported by good means of conveying information. The rental process is also quite troublesome for the community due to the obstacles that are often encountered. Bookers have to come in person to see the schedule availability, this can take a while. In this research, an Android-based GoFutsal application will be designed. Making the GoFutsal application uses data collection, problem analysis and software design along with testing the software. The results of this study are in the form of a futsal field reservation application that can be accessed via the Android platform. The results of the Black Box trial conducted on the features of the Gofutsal application went well and in accordance with its function. With the GoFutsal application, it is hoped that it can help the public in getting information and can simplify the process of ordering futsal fields.
