Abstract

ABSTRAKMakalah ini ditulis bertujuan untuk membantu mengatasi salah satu dari sekian banyak permasalah yang ada dalam menulis (writing) pada sekolah menengah atas (SMA). Selain itu makalah ini juga dimaksudkan sebagai masukan bagi guru-guru bahasa inggris dalam melaksanakan pelajaran writing sehingga siswa tertarik dan termotivasi untuk belajar menulis khususnya expository text. Dalam makalah ini penulis membahas bagaimana pengajaran writing melalui penggabungan strategi PENS (Preview, Explore, Note, See) dan Strategi COLA (Content, Organization, Language, Apperance). Dengan strategi ini mempermudah guru meningkatkan keinginan siswa dalam menulis dan mempermudahkan siswa dalam proses penulisan. Ada beberapa langkah yang digunakan dalam penggabungan dua strategi ini secara garis besar. Fungsi strategi PEN ini adalah sebagai strategi menulis kalimat yang memungkinkan siswa dalam berbagai jenis kalimat untuk menulis. Dan strategi COLA sebagai cara untuk memperbaiki isi tulisan, organisasi, bahasa, dan penampilan yang bahkan dilakukan secara individual dapat dijadikan siswa sebagai cara sebagai pedoman untuk merevisi atau mengedit menulis teks. Tujuan dari penggabungan dua strategi ini agar siswa menjadi lebih aktif, efekti dan efisien dalam menulis. Penulis berharap agar penggabungan strategi-strategi ini bisa menjadi pedoman bagi guru dalam mengajar menulis.

Abstract

Informatics is one of the study programs at STIKI Malang which has quite large student data both data on active students and students who have graduated. Every year students who graduate on time are far less than new students, which will affect the quality of students and also influence to the accreditation of STIKI Malang. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to make an application to predict the duration of study and the predicate of student graduation by applying supervised learning techniques. Output predictions for the period of study are on time, late, or not graduated and output for predicate are summa cum laude, cum laude, very satisfying, or satisfying. The application method used in supervised learning for prediction is a Naïve Bayes algorithm. This is used to analyze data, especially in the pattern recognition process, predicting the period of study and the predicate of graduation. Before entering the calculation phase of the Naive Bayes algorithm, the Correlation Feature Selection is used to select relevant features that function to improve the accuracy of the system. The results of the study based on 10 Fold Cross Validation testing indicate that the application can be used to assist informatics study programs in order to find strategic information related to the duration of study and the predicate of student graduation with an accuracy of 77.19% and 87.65%.Keywords: Prediction, Naïve Bayes, Study Periods, Correlation Feature Selection, 10 Fold Cross Validation

Abstract

BPHTB dialihkan menjadi pajak daerah pada tahun 2011. Dasar pengenaan BPHTB diatur dalam Peraturan Daerah Nomor 9 Tahun 2011. Dengan dialihkannya BPHTB menjadi pajak daerah, BPHTB turut mengambil bagian dalam memberikan kontribusi terhadap Pendapatan Asli Daerah. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui dasar dan pelaksanaan pengenaan BPHTB di Kota Ternate, serta kontribusi BPHTB terhadap Pendapatan Asli Daerah (PAD). Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif. Untuk memperoleh data yang diperlukan, penulis melakukan kegiatan pengumpulan data dengan cara wawancara, dokumentasi dan observasi. Hasil penelitian, dasar-dasar dan pelaksanaan BPHTB di Kota Ternate sudah sesuai dengan Peraturan Daerah. Namun masyarakat masih belum mandiri dalam perhitungan BPHTB terutangnya. Kontribusi BPHTB terhadap Pendapatan Asli Daerah masih sangat kurang, namun kontribusi BPHTB terhadap PAD terus mengalami peningkatan. Untuk lebih mengefektifkan penerimaan BPHTB, sebaiknya dasar pengenaan BPHTB didasarkan pada Nilai Zona Tanah. Kata kunci: hak atas tanah, dasar pengenaan, kontribusi, pendapatan

Abstract

Pembangunan manusia didefinisikan sebagai suatu proses untuk perluasan pilihan yang lebih banyak kepada penduduk melalui upaya-upaya pemberdayaan yang mengutamakan peningkatan kemampuan dasar manusia. Nilai kebutuan dasar yang harus dapat diperoleh setiap orang agar tidak terkategori miskin yang kemungkinan disebut garis kemiskinan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendapatkan model untuk mengklasifikasikan kemiskinan pada kota/kabupaten di Provinsi Sumatera Utara dengan faktor indeks pembangunan manusia, tingkat kemiskinan, tingkat pengangguran terbuka, dan upah minimum pada kota/kabupaten di Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Multivariate Analisis diskriminan merupakan salah satu metode analisis multivariat yang digunakan untuk mengklasifikasikan beberapa kelompok data yang sudah terkelompokkan dengan cara membentuk kombinasi linier fungsi diskriminan. Dalam penelitian ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa analisis diskriminan dapat digunakan untuk menggolongkan kemiskinan di kota/kabupaten di sumatera utara berdasarkan variabel kemiskinan.

Abstract

21st century learning are fundamental in developing aspects of learning in the world of education in Indonesia. The purpose of this research is to analyze and explain the relevance of Vygotsky's constructivism learning theory in the independent curriculum in elementary schools. 21st century learning in the independent curriculum in differentiated learning is an effort to adjust the learning process in the classroom with the aim of meeting the learning needs of each individual. The adjustment is by developing learners' 4C abilities, interests, learning profiles and learners' readiness in order to achieve improved learning outcomes. Learners can learn according to their own abilities and find understanding from their own experiences. This research was used the library research method by analyzing related literature sources and articles and books as references. Vygotsky's constructivism emphasizes the interaction of interpersonal (social), cultural-historical, and individual factors as the key to human development. Constructivism theory has relevance to differentiated learning in terms of meaningful learning and learner engagement. The results of 21st century learning in the independent curriculum in differentiated learning apply the theory of constructivism in learning by paying attention to the individual characteristics of students. Supported by the concept of Zone of Proximal of Development (ZPD) and scaffolding is very relevant in differentiated learning that accommodates all the potential of students and pays attention to the individual abilities of students so that they can optimize the 4C skills of students.

Abstract

Digital education is currently very developed in the field of technology which has learning facilities with educational games so that lessons will be easier to understand and more interesting. while studying the Java programming language is known as learning that teaches the basics of programming languages based on android. while learning at BATAM ADVENT VOCATIONAL SCHOOL uses guidebooks that can be obtained by teachers from the internet using traditional methods making it difficult for students to learn Java, because the teacher only delivers lessons in front of the class and students only listen to the lessons delivered by the teacher. The method used to design educational games for learning the Java programming language based on Android is the Game Development Life Cycle (GDLC) and Unified Modeling Language (UML) methods, making games using Unity. The research is educational games for learning the Java programming language based on Android which can be used as learning media at ADVENT BATAM Vocational Schools, to add insight and knowledge to students about Java programming.

Abstract

Coffee is one of the major commodities in Indonesia's agricultural sector, where Indonesia is the fourth largest coffee producer in the world. Arabica coffee is the only type of coffee produced on Mount Sindoro. The used water is wasted in the sewers when washing and sorting coffee. Even though the skin covering the cherry flesh is likely to contain natural microorganism life since the coffee cherries grow during ripening on the tree. Therefore, this study aims to determine whether there is the presence or absence of Lactic Acid Bacteria (LAB) groups in the water used to soak the Arabica coffee cherries. The research method was carried out with 200 ml of water samples soaked in Arabica coffee cherries for 4 hours, isolating microorganisms from the 10-1 to 10-3 dilution series of soaking water using the spread plate method and reinoculation to obtain pure LAB cultures, then detected macroscopically through observation of colony morphology and microscopically detected, including physiological and biochemical reaction tests. Data analysis was conducted in a fully descriptive-qualitative manner concerning Bergey's Manual of Determinative Bacteriology and other books supporting the detection of the BAL groups obtained. The study results obtained three isolates, but only one isolate was detected as LAB. The isolate belongs to the Streptococcaceae family's LAB group- the Lactococcus genus.

Abstract

The ability to speak in public is known as public speaking. Public speaking can take many forms, including speeches, lectures, and presentations, as well as becoming a master of ceremony (MC) or event guide. Becoming a master of ceremony (MC) or an event guide is not easy; it takes a lot of practice and experience to perform well. This is because the ability to host a show is a soft skill that can be developed through continuous training and development. Many difficulties are encountered during its implementation, ranging from nervousness, fear, tension, and so on. Based on the reported of the eservice leader that Worship leaders among the congregation and youth at Gereja Pantekosta di Indonesia (GPdI) Bethlehem, Sungai Rengas. have found often feeling nervous when speaking in front of the congregation, being confused in conveying sentences that easy to understand, and not maximize eye contact, which prevents them from communicating effectively with musicians. As a result, the committee invited the team Pengabdian kepada masyarakt (PkM) to provide workshops that could be used later when the worship leaders were in charge of guiding the church services.

Abstract

the goal of this study was to gather empirical evidence of the effect of Profitability, Dividend Policy, and Collateral Assets on Debt Policy with Managerial Ownership as a moderating variable. This research relies on secondary data from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The population used in this study are companies with large capitalization values that are included in the LQ45 index in the 2016-2020 period. Sampling in this study used purposive sampling method, and the data that met the criteria were 70 data which were processed using Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) vers 25.0. Partially, Profitability and Collateral Assets have a significant impact on Debt Policy, while Dividend Policy has no significant effect on Debt Policy. Managerial Ownership unable to moderate the effect of Profitability, Dividend Policy and Collateral Assets on Debt Policy. The implication of this research is that companies with large capitalization of managerial ownership should play a greater role in determining debt policy by maintaining the level of profitability and collateral assets.

Abstract

EFL Students’ needs for spoken English are considered important to fulfill, and the idea to capture what they need requires some ways and efforts so as to make them eager and keen on practicing English better. However, an analysis on needs environment is not much discussed and conducted for EFL students, mainly in lower secondary schools. Thus, the aim of this study is to examine the needs of EFL students in terms of enhancing their English-speaking skills in lower secondary schools. Three ninth-grade students from three distinct lower secondary schools located in Depok, West Java, Indonesia were the subjects of the research. This study employed a qualitative design with descriptive analysis, and the instrument used to collect the data was semi-structured interviews. The resulting data was analyzed with some steps such as reduction of data, data display, and data presentation. The results demonstrated that EFL students’ English-speaking proficiency is influenced by a variety of needs, including necessities, lacks, and wants. Considering the significance of these needs in the enhancement of EFL students' English-speaking abilities, it is advisable that teachers of English should comprehend and employ efficient learning strategies and stimulating learning media that facilitate the progress of students' English-speaking capabilities.
