Abstract

Abstracts                 Hill Punai Aquatic Center opened in 2006, used to fumction as a car stop. Before its opening, a restaurant had been there and hill Punai Aquatic Center is located in the village of Baliak Koto Kenagarian Pelangai Kaciak, Ranah Pesisir subdistrict roadside cross Padang and Bengkulu. This study aimed to obtain information, analyzing the impact on attraction Hill Baths Punai gained from the community around the village Baliak Koto Kenagarian Pelangai Kaciak, Pesisir Selatan District viewed from 1) economic development, 2) damage to the environment, and 3) the commercialization of culture.This study is a qualitative research, conducted Hiil Punai Aquatic Center Kenagarian Pelangai Kaciak Pesisir Selatan District. Informants were taken by purposive, the people living  arounnd the Mount not gained attraction Punai baths. Data were collected through interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis was done by using data reduction, data display, data interpretation and conclusion. The results show: 1) The impact Hill Punai Aquatic Cente from the economic development community Punai seen around the village of Baliak Koto Kenagarian Pelangai Kaciak, seen from the changes in livelihood, the growths of sidejobs, 2) impact of Hill Punai Aquatic  Center gained from Punai  seen  from the garbage strewn when visitors crowded. This leads to less clean environment and and 3) Impact of Hill Punai Aquatic Center gained from Punai views of culture villages in community Baliak Koto Kenagarian Pelangai Kaciak, seen from the changes in behavior and norms of social interaction, esecially the youths.

Abstract

 ABSTRACT  This study aims to determine the pattern of settlement and Socioeconomic Characteristics in Lingkuang Aua Village Pasaman District of Pasaman Barat Region.This research is descriptive quantitative. The population in this study were all Head of Family in Lingkuang Aua Village Pasaman District of Pasaman Barat Region totaling 7.770 households. Samples were taken in two ways, sample areas taken by using purposive side which is ellipse with a radius of 2,5 miles from Pasaman Barat Region Head Office and the sample respondents drawn with proportional random sampling technique with percentage 5% so that the sample was 170 households. Data were analyzed by analysis of nearest neighbors and the percentage.The results of the study found that: (1) settlement pattern in Lingkuang Aua Village Pasaman District are clustered settlement pattern and (2) socio-economic characteristics of society in Lingkuang Aua Village Pasaman District, community family structure more female population than the male, with the age group most are in the productive age. Family child education generally is at the level of elementary, junior high, high school and college, but there are still children who drop out of school. Generally place a childs education in the neighborhood, the cost incurred an average of Rp 300,000 - Rp 500.000/ month than the cost of its own, without any help from others, average income of Rp 1,000,000 - Rp 2.000.000/month, spending on basic necessities average < Rp 1.500.000/month, to meet the needs of food, clothing and shelter, dependents in a family of 4 people and has no dependents other than son and wife. The main livelihood in agriculture, employment status remain and work in the city district. Are by and large people do not have a second job

Abstract

 ABSTRACT  This study aims to determine typology of village based livelihood in V Koto District Mukomuko region based on : 1) the livelihoods of rice field, 2) the livelihoods of dryland agriculture and 3) livelihood plantations.This research is descriptive evaluative, which describes the existing conditions and compare with the ideal conditions (evaluative). The population in this study was the entire village in V Koto District Mukomuko region and the subject is the whole village and the village chief district officer BPS of Mukomuko.The results of the study found that : (1) Typology of rural livelihoods based livelihood views of rice fields in V Koto District Mukomuko region, no village can be grouped into the village rice fields, as a percentage score for village rice fields smaller than the plantation village, (2 ) typology based livelihood village seen from dry land farming livelihoods in V Koto District Mukomuko region, then nothing can be grouped into dryland farming villages and (3) rural typology based livelihood views of livelihood plantations in V Koto District Mukomuko region, the whole village is a group of villages because of the vast plantation estates and land use is dominated by oil palm and rubber plants.Â
