Abstract

Vision problems related to the learning process include deficits in efficiency and processing of visual information that have the potential to interfere with a person's ability to learn. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between refractive errors and student achievement. This type of research is descriptive quantitative. The population in this study was 30 adolescents at SMP Negeri Padang City. The discussion is sorted according to the formulation of the problem. Based on the results of the study, it was found that 33.3% of the students had refractive errors myopia. In addition, there is a significant relationship between refractive errors and student achievement at SMP Negeri Padang City. Students who feel that their vision is blurry to see far away should immediately check their eyes and also have to be careful about the characteristics of myopia disorders and other refractive errors. It is recommended that students who have wrong reading habits pay more attention to their eye health so that unwanted things do not occur.

Abstract

Perencanaan karir penting disampaikan kepada anak sedini mungkin sebagai keterampilan hidup yang dimulai sejak memasuki sekolah dasar. Tujuan penulisan ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan kesadaran karir dan eksplorasi karir membentuk dasar salam perencanaan karir hidup anak yang efektif. Metode penulisan menggunakan studi kepustakaan. Teori faktor idiosinkratik mempengaruhi pengambilan keputusan setiap orang; dan Teori perkembangan anak (Erikson, Piaget dan Vygotsky) dan teori pengembangan karir (misalnya, Super dan Gottfredson) saling terkait. Serta implikasi pada praktek pendidikan.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penulisan artikel ini untuk melihat implementasi konseling gestalt untuk meingkatkan kesadaran karir siswa sekolah dasar. Dimulai dengan kerangka teoritis, alasan diberikan untuk intervensi awal oleh konselor sekolah dasar. Penelitian yang menguraikan praktik konseling di sekolah dasar masih minim. Perlunya praktik konseling gestalt secara teoritis untuk mendukung keterlaksanaan program BK yang terintegrasi pada tema pembelajaran sekolah dasar

Abstract

This study discusses the importance of patient understanding of soft contact lens materials and the period of use in Optik Kota Padang. This study aims to reveal: (1) patients' understanding of soft contact lens materials and the duration of use, (2) the impact of soft contact lens use on lens materials and the duration of use, (3) handling of the impact of soft contact lens use on lens materials and the period of use. Data was collected through questionnaires at Optik Kota Padang. Then the data is discussed based on the theory proposed in the literature review and presents the results of respondents' answers in Optik Kota Padang in order based on the problem formulation. The research method used is quantitative descriptive method. Of the 30 respondents, 19 respondents (63.3%) had a fairly good understanding of soft contact lens materials and the correct wearing life, while 11 respondents (36.7%) did not have an understanding of soft contact lens materials and the correct wearing period. The impact of soft contact lens use and prolonged usage period in Padang City Optics can be seen that as many as 17 respondents (56.7%) know and have felt the impact of soft contact lens use and prolonged wearing period, while as many as 13 respondents (43.3%) do not know and have never felt the impact of soft contact lens use and prolonged use. The impact of soft contact lens use and wearing period can be seen that 18 respondents (60%) know how to overcome the impact of soft contact lens use and prolonged contact lens use, while 12 respondents (40%) do not know how to overcome the impact of contact lens use and prolonged contact lens use.

Abstract

Self adjustment of students in a boarding school environment is the ability to live and fair, so that he was satisfied with themself and to the environment. Many factors affect the students in the school adjustment as gender, cultural backgrounds and grade levels (maturity). This study purpose to describe the adjustment of students in terms of gender, cultural background, and grade levels. The research was ex post facto by using factorial design 2 x 2 x 3. The population is students of SMAN 1 West Sumatra. The total sample were 168 people selected by stratified random sampling technique and combined with the proportional sampling technique. The instrument was a questionnaire. Data were analyzed by analysis of variance (ANOVA). The result showed: (1) the level of adjustment of students in general were in the high category, (2) the level of adjustment male and female were in at the high category, and there was difference of adjustment of students based on the gender, mean score of female students higher than male students, (3) the level of adjustment of students in terms of cultural background (Minang and non-Minang) were in high category, and there are differences in the adjustment of students based on the background of the culture, (4) the level of adjustment student review grade levels (X, XI, and XII) were in high category, and there is no difference adjustment students based on grade level, and (5) the level of adjustment of students in terms of gender, cultural background, and grade levels were in category high, and there is no interaction between these variables in explained the adjustment of students.
