Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana kemampuan, motivasi dan kompensasi di Kantor Sekretariat Daerah Kabupaten Rokan Hulu. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui penyebaran kuesioner dan dilaksanakan pada 84 pegawai Di Kantor Sekretariat Daerah Kabupaten Rokan Hulu. Analisa data pada penelitian ini menggunakan bantuan SPSS. Teknik sampling yang dipakai adalah metode sensus dan teknik pengujian data yang digunakan dalanm penelitian ini meliputi uji validitas dengan analisis faktor uji reliabilitas dengan Alpha Cronbach. Hipotesis yang menyatakan bahwa secara simultan variabel kemampuan, motivasi dan kompensasi mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai diterima.

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk (1) mengetahui lingkungan keluarga siswa IPS,Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan, Universitas Pasir Pengaraian, (2) mengetahuiketerampilan sosial mahasiswa program studi IPS Fakultas Keguruan dan Pendidikan GuruUniversitas Pasir Pengaraian, dan (3) mengetahui pengaruh Lingkungan Keluarga terhadapketerampilan sosial mahasiswa IPS, Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan, UniversitasPasir Pengaraian. Variabel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah LingkunganKeluarga (X) dan Keterampilan Sosial (Y). Metode yang digunakan untuk menganalisis datapenelitian adalah analisis deskriptif dan analisis regresi sederhana. Teknik pengambilansampel yang digunakan adalah total sampel dari seluruh populasi. Hasil penelitianmenunjukkan bahwa lingkungan keluarga mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Ilmu Sosialmasuk dalam kategori tinggi yang memperoleh skor rata-rata 3,73, sedangkan keterampilansosial mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Ilmu Sosial termasuk dalam kategori sedangsehingga diperoleh skor rata-rata dari 3.13. Sementara itu, pengaruh lingkungan keluargaterhadap keterampilan sosial secara signifikan mempengaruhi persentase 28,9%. Oleh karenaitu, lingkungan keluarga dapat digunakan sebagai alat prediksi untuk meningkatkanketerampilan sosial siswa.

This research aims to explain how great the contribution of learning attitude and vocabulary mastery towards the short story writing skills ofjunior high school students in Rokan Hulu. This research uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive method and using correlational and regression design. Stratified random sampling technique was done to select the sampel based on high, medium, and low ranking results based on national examination of the SMP2015/2016 of Rokan Hulu. The data of this research is learning attitude scale, mastery of vocabulary score, and short writing skills score.Data were analyzed using a double linear regression test, t-test, F-test, and determinant coefficient formula to determine the contribution of independent variables on the dependent variable, either single or simultaneous. Results of this study that learning attitude and vocabulary mastery either single or simultaneous contribute significantly towards the short story writing skills. Contribution of learning attitudes and vocabulary mastery simultaneously, partial contribution of learning attitudes and vocabulary mastery to the short story writing skills in a row is 36.3%, 27.9% and 31.4%.

The writing of this article aims to find out the basic values that form the basis of tolerance and tolerance forms among Muslims, Buddhists and Christians in Pasir Jaya Village, Rambah Hilir District, Rokan Hulu Regency. The Research Participants are the Village Head, Community Leaders, and Prominent Islamic, Christian and Buddhist leaders, Youth Chairperson, PKK Chairperson and Pasir Jaya Village Community. This research site was conducted in Pasir Jaya Village, Rambah Hilir District, Rokan Hulu Regency, Riau Province. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, documentation and analyzed qualitatively through data analysis techniques using data reduction, data display and data verification. This study concludes that the basic values on which tolerance is formed between Muslims, Christians and Buddhists are normatively found in religious values and cultural values. Meanwhile, empirically include: human values related to help, nationalism values related to cooperation and mutual cooperation, historical values related to respect, and democratic values related to deliberation. While the form of tolerance is manifested in social interaction and cooperation which includes: (1) Cooperation in development, (2) Participation in weddings, (3) participating in events of death, (4) Attitudes of respect and respect for religious celebrations, and (5) ) Deliberation in village activities.

KONTRIBUSI SIKAP BELAJAR DAN PENGUASAAN KOSAKATA TERHADAP KETERAMPILAN MENULIS CERPEN SISWA KELAS IX SMP NEGERI 1 RAMBAH SAMO KABUPATEN ROKAN HULUAbstractThis research aims to describe (1) the contribution learning attitude toward short story writing skills; (2) the contribution vocabulary mastery toward short story writing skills and (3) the contribution learning attitude and vocabulary mastery toward short story writing skills student 9th grade at SMP Negeri 1 Rambah Samo, Rokan Hulu Regency.This study uses a quantitative approach with descriptive methods and using correlational design. The study population was all 9th grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Rambah Samo totaling 119 people. Data were analyzed using Pearson correlation test of Product Moment (PPM), a double correlation test, t-test, F-test, and determinant coefficient formula to determine the contribution of independent variables on the dependent variable, either single or simultaneous. Results of this study are as follows: (1) learning attitude make a significant contribution to short story writing skills; (2) vocabulary contributed significantly to short story writing skills; (3) learning attitude and vocabulary mastery together make a significant contribution to short story writing skills. Thus, it can be concluded that learning attitude and vocabulary mastery, either single or simultaneous provide a significant contribution to short story writing skills of student 9th grade at SMP Negeri 1 Rambah Samo, Rokan Hulu Regency. Keyword: learning attitude, vocabulary mastery, short story.AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan (1) kontribusi sikap belajar terhadap keterampilan menulis cerpen; (2) kontribusi penguasaan kosakata terhadap keterampilan menulis cerpen, dan (3) kontribusi sikap belajar dan penguasaan kosakata terhadap keterampilan menulis cerpen siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 1 Rambah Samo Kabupaten Rokan Hulu. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif dan menggunakan desain korelasional. Populasi penelitian ini adalah semua siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 1 Rambah Samo yang berjumlah 119 orang. Data penelitian ini berupa skor hasil sikap belajar, skor hasil penguasaan kosakata, dan skor hasil keterampilan menulis cerpen yang diubah ke dalam bentuk nilai. Data penelitian dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji korelasi Pearson Product Moment (PPM), uji korelasi ganda, uji t, uji F, dan rumus koefesien determinan untuk mengetahui besar kontribusi variabel bebas terhadap variabel terikat, baik secara sendiri-sendiri maupun secara bersama-sama. Hasil penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut: (1) sikap belajar memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan terhadap keterampilan menulis cerpen;(2)penguasaan kosakata memberikankontribusi yang signifikan terhadap keterampilan menulis cerpen;(3) sikap belajar dan penguasaan kosakata secarabersama-sama memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan terhadap keterampilan menulis cerpen. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa sikap belajar dan penguasaan kosakata, baik secara sendiri-sendiri maupun bersama-sama memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan terhadap keterampilan menulis cerpen siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 1 Rambah Samo Kabupaten Rokan Hulu. The Stimulus Community Partnership Program ( PKMS ) was implemented at the UMKM Marning Mbok Jas. In this stimulant community partnership program there are three efforts to solve the problems faced by partners, namely the first increase in the ability of science and technology in the production system, this effort is made to increase production productivity, optimize production and improve hygienic marning quality. The second effort is to increase the variant of the production of processed corn and corn marning; it aims to increase the variant of corn marning products, namely to increase the variant of corn marning flavor. By creating a third effort which is to change the marketing strategy by creating a taste that consumers like and a consistent taste, making brochures, and labeling it to look attractive and other marketing activities and marketing in the marketplace.

This study aims to describe the shape and meaning of female portraits in crime rape news contained in online media Sindonews.com. This research uses a criticalqualitative approach by focusing on Sara Mills text analysis. Research data in the form of vocabulary, phrase, or sentence that shows the form and meaning ofthe portrait of women in the news. The results showed that the form and meaning of the text in the rape crime news can be seen from the position of the subject-object and the position of the author-reader. From the subjectobject side, the whole news text describes the perpetrator as the subject and the victim as the object. The meaning of the portrait of women in the news of rape crime in online media sindonews.com that women tend to be marginalized. Women described as people who are blamed or people who have a bad image. Instead, men are presented and displayed in a good image because he or she tells the story.

The purpose of this study was to determine the Work Motivation and Work Environment on Employee Performance, both partially and simultaneously. The population in this study was the Civil Service Police Unit Rokan Hulu Regency, with a total sample of 84 people. The independent variables in this study are Work Motivation (X1), and Work Environment (X2), and the dependent variable is Performance (Y). Methods of data collection using questionnaires, observations, and interviews. The results showed that (1) Partial Tests between Work Motivation variables have a significant and positive influence on Employee Performance. This is evidenced by the t-test where Work Motivation count 7.063> table 1.663. (2) Partial testing between the Work Environment has a significant and positive effect on performance, this is evidenced by the t-test where the Work Environment T-count 3.407> t table 1.663 and (3) the relationship simultaneously Work Motivation, and the Work Environment has a positive and significant effect which is proven with the F test the value of F-count 71.167> F table 3.11. So the hypothesis which states that there is a significant influence of Work Motivation and Work Environment on employee performance is accepted.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) gaya mengajar guru IPS kelas VIII SMPMuhammadiyah Rambah, (2) aktivitas siswa dalam pembelajaran IPS kelas VIII SMPMuhammadiyah Rambah, (3) pengaruh gaya mengajar guru terhadap aktivitas siswa. Pengambilansampel dilakukan secara total sampling, yaitu total populasi sebanyak 60 siswa. Instrumen yangdigunakan berupa angket (angket). Data yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini dianalisis denganmenggunakan uji regresi sederhana. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Gaya mengajar guruIPS kelas VIII SMP Muhammadiyah Rambah termasuk dalam kategori sedang / sedang, (2) Keaktifansiswa dalam pembelajaran IPS kelas VIII SMP Muhammadiyah Rambah adalah tergolong sedang /sedang, (3) Gaya mengajar guru berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keaktifan siswa dalampembelajaran IPS, hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil perhitungan uji t sebesar 6,125 sedangkan t_tabelsebesar 1,671 pada taraf signifikansi 5% yang berarti H_a diterima. Selain itu diperoleh persamaanregresi Y ̂ = 35,367 + 0,629X, terlihat dari koefisien determinasi bahwa besarnya pengaruh variabel Xterhadap variabel Y adalah 39%. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa gaya mengajar guru berpengaruhpositif dan signifikan terhadap keaktifan siswa dalam pembelajaran IPS di kelas VIII SMPMuhammadiyah Rambah.
