Abstract

Good governance in the village or sub-district must be carried out in a structured and systematic manner so that it is not only accountable for all activities carried out but also can increase the competitiveness of the village. This means that with good management, the government can have clear directions and goals to achieve. Based on this, this research study aims to find out how to implement good governance in realizing the quality of public services in Sidomukti Village and Semampir Village, Kraksaan District. Qualitative research is a scientific research, which aims to understand a phenomenon in a natural social context by prioritizing the process of deep communication interaction between researchers and the phenomenon under study. Researchers took the research location with observations in Sidomukti Village and Semampir Village, Kraksaan District, Probolinggo Regency, in order to support the data needed in research related to the implementation of good governance in realizing the quality of public services. Sources of data obtained from the field where the research was carried out. To obtain this data, the interview method was used. This data was obtained from the results of the answers of related informants. The results of this study are as follows: (1) The implementation of governance in Sidomukti and Semampir villages has implemented good governance in serving administrative services, both population administration and government administration. (2) Obstacles in the implementation of governance are: HR problems (leadership commitment, quality and morality of human resources and the system as a determining factor for the performance of local government bureaucracy which is still not satisfactory and inadequate population administration facilities become obstacles in public services. (3 ) Solutions in resolving the obstacles to implementing internal bureaucratic reform are: Kelurahan cooperates with related agencies to increase resource capacity, access communication between kelurahan employees and the community, and optimize the role of organizations in Sidomukti and Semampir Villages.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of organizational culture and work environment on employee performance through job satisfaction. This research is a survey research using explanatory research type. The sample used was 106 respondents from the Pasuruan Pratama Tax Service Office. The sample in this study is the same as the population of data collection by means of a census. Statistical analysis used is Path Analysis approach. Calculation of the estimated values of the parameters is carried out with the help of the SPSS application. The results of the study show that: i) Organizational culture directly has a positive and significant influence on job satisfaction; ii) the work environment has no direct influence on job satisfaction; iii) Organizational culture directly has a positive and significant influence on employee performance; iv) work environment has no direct influence on employee performance v) job satisfaction has a positive and significant influence on employee performance; vi) organizational culture indirectly has an influence on employee performance through job satisfaction; (vii) the work environment does not indirectly have an influence on employee performance through job satisfaction.Effectiveness while the remaining 35.1% is influential with other factors not examined by the authors in this study.

Abstract

This study sought to identify the effects of tax education and tax supervision during the Covid-19 pandemic on tax revenue through tax compliance. The population in this study was 1,550 Corporate Taxpayers engaged in the trade sector that are registered in the Singosari Tax Office. Using Slovin’s formula, 94 Taxpayers were selected as samples. Accidental sampling technique was used and data were collected by distributing questionnaires. Explanatory research using a quantitative approach was considered the most appropriate. Primary data came from respondents' answers to the questionnaire using a Likert scale of 1 to 5. Partial Least Square (PLS) was used to test the hypotheses of the study with the help of SmartPLS 4.0. The results show that tax education, tax supervision and tax compliance positively and significantly affect tax revenue, tax supervision positively and significantly affects tax compliance, tax education has no positive and significant effect on tax compliance, tax compliance cannot mediate tax education against tax revenue, and tax compliance partially mediates tax supervision against tax revenue.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan budaya kaizen, kinerja, motivasi internal dan disiplin kerja serta menganalisis pengaruh budaya kaizen terhadap kinerja melalui motivasi internal dan disiplin kerja karyawan departemen after sales Auto 2000 Sutoyo Malang. Peneliti menggunakan metode sampling sensus dalam penentuan responden penelitian, artinya semua anggota populasi digunakan sebagai sampel yaitu 62 karyawan Departemen after sales Auto 2000 Sutoyo Malang. Hal ini dilakukan karena jumlah populasi relatif kecil. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner, sedangkan analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) component based PLS (Partial Least Squares) dengan bantuan software SmartPLS 3.3. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa budaya kaizen berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja, budaya kaizen berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kedisiplinan, budaya kaizen berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi internal, kedisiplinan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja, motivasi internal berpengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja. Motivasi internal berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kedisiplinan. Budaya kaizen berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja melalui kedisiplinan. Budaya kaizen berpengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja melalui motivasi internal. Budaya kaizen berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja melalui motivasi internal dan kedisiplinan. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa secara umum budaya kaizen memberikan pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan yang diperkuat dengan adanya pengaruh motivasi internal dan disiplin kerja.

Abstract

Purpose – Badan Usaha Milik Desa (BUMDes) is one of the crucial instruments in advancing villages and enhancing community welfare. The success of BUMDes greatly depends on the capacity of the village head in leading and managing BUMDes. The community service activities aim to enhance the capacity of village heads in the East Java Province to manage BUMDes. Design/methodology/approach – The community service activities are conducted through training and mentoring methods for Village Heads in the East Java Province. Findings – The Village Head, after participating in training and mentoring activities, experienced a significant increase in knowledge and skills in managing BUMDes. This improvement encompasses managerial aspects, planning, and the implementation of BUMDes programs. This indicates that the community service activities conducted effectively enhanced the capacity of the Village Head, which in turn has the potential to advance the overall welfare of the village community. Originality/value – The originality of these community service activities lies in the holistic, integrated, and contextually adapted approach in enhancing the capacity of Village Heads and advancing BUMDes in the East Java Province.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the influence of style leadership and work motivationagainst job satisfaction of employees at PT Indofood. This study was conducted by simple random sampling techniques (techniques simple sample), with a sample of 75 respondents. Whole regression equation the doubles used have met the requirements of the classical assumption test. Results of the study this shows that there is a significant and positive influence between the style leadership and motivation simultaneously to employee satisfaction in PT Indofood.

Abstract

The filter cleaning system is part of the dust collector which functions as a filter between dirty air and clean air. Blockage of the dust collector is due to a lack of maintenance to control the performance of filter cleaning components such as valves, jetspray tubes and bagcloth. Another cause is the less than optimal air pressure from the jetspray to dislodge the dust adhering to the bagcloth. So it is necessary to recondition both the layout of the filter cleaning components and the optimization of jet spray pressure. Determination of the capacity of the jetspray tube is adjusted to the specifications of the compressor and uses the ASME VIII Div I (Pressure Vessel) standard with dimensions of 1400mm x 8inch SCH20. The feasibility test of the jetspray tube is carried out by calculating the allowable thickness and the factor of safety based on the pressure operated on the jetspray tube. Determining the location of the filter cleaning components is based on aspects that make it easier for the operator to carry out the maintenance so that the performance of the filter cleaning components can be controlled properly. Based on the stress simulation using solidworks 2020 for the SCH20 pipe which has a thickness of 6.35mm operated with a pressure of 7 bar it is categorized as safe to use.

Abstract

Women's empowerment is a top priority in Indonesia's economic development, aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 5 on gender equality and SDG 8 on economic growth and decent work. However, women still face significant barriers in accessing formal financing. This study aims to analyze the role of the An-Nisa Pati Cooperative as a local institutional innovation in providing access to collateral-free microcredit and its impact on women's economic empowerment. The research method used a descriptive qualitative approach with in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis. The results show that the An-Nisa Cooperative not only opens access to financing for women in microenterprises, agriculture, and informal businesses, but also increases women's self-confidence, social solidarity, and economic participation. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of strengthening community-based institutions as an effective strategy to address structural inequalities and promote gender mainstreaming in local economic development.
