Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian pupuk organik cair Bio Sugih Tani dan menentukan konsentrasi pupuk organik cair Bio Sugih Tani yang memberikan pengaruh terbaikterhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman bawang merah. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Juli sampai dengan November 2018, bertempat di Para-para Gedung OECF Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Mulawarman. Penelitian ini disusun dalam Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) merupakan percobaan faktor tunggal, yaitu pupuk organik cair Bio Sugih Tani, terdiri dari lima perlakuan dengan delapan kali ulangan. Perlakuan terdiri dari kontrol, 2, 4, 6, dan 8 mL L -1 air. Data dianalisis menggunakan sidik ragam dan dilanjutkan dengan Uji Beda Nyata Terkecil (BNT) dengan taraf 5%. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh pemberian beberapa konsentrasi pupuk organik cair Bio Sugih Tani memberikan pengaruh tidak nyata terhadap semua variabel pengamatan, yaitu umur keluar tunas, tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, jumlah umbi, berat segar umbi, dan berat kering umbi. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa pemberian konsentrasi 2, 4, 6 dan 8 mL L -1 air tidak mengalami peningkatan terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman bawang merah, walaupun konsentrasi pemberian sudah melebihi konsentrasi anjuran.

Abstract

Grammatophyllum speciosum Blume atau anggrek tebu merupakan salah satu spesies anggrek yang terancam kepunahan sehingga perlu dilestarikan. Perbanyakan generatif secara kovensional mengalami kendala karena tidak terdapat endosperm sehingga perlu dilakukan perbanyakan secara kultur jaringan. Keberhasilan perbanyakan secara kultur jaringan sangat dipengaruhi komposisi media dasar yang digunakan, terutama dipengaruhi oleh jenis dan konsentrasi zat pengatur tumbuh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh, jenis zat pengatur tumbuh dan penambahan ekstrak pisang ambon terhadap pertumbuhan anggrek tebu secara kultur jaringan. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap yang terdiri dari enam perlakuan, kombinasi antara zat pengatur tumbuh Benzyl Amino Purine atau Kinetin dengan atau tanpa naphthalene acetic acid dan ekstrak pisang ambon. Masing-masing perlakuan diulang tiga kali. Data dianalisis menggunakan sidik ragam dan dilanjutkan dengan uji Duncan Multiple Range Test dengan taraf 5 %. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perbedaan komposisi media yang disebabkan perbedaan penambahan zat pengatur tumbuh dan ekstrak pisang ambon menyebabkan perbedaan tinggi kultur, jumlah, daun, jumlah tunas dan jumlah akar yang signifikan. Media dasar Vacin and Went sesuai untuk meregenerasikan anggrek tebu. Jenis zat pengatur tumbuh yang berbeda mempengaruhi respon morfogenesis yang berbeda pula. Zat pengatur tumbuh yang baik digunakan pada tahap awal pertumbuhan kultur adalah 3,00 mg.L-1 Kinetin + 0,50 mgL-1 naphthalene acetic acid karena komposisi tersebut menghasilkan pertambahan tinggi dan jumlah daun yang tertinggi, sedangkan tahap multiplikasi tunas menggunakan 3,00 mg.L-1 Benzyl Amino Purine + 0,50 mgL-1 naphthalene acetic acid. Ekstrak pisang ambon 100 gL-1 dapat digunakan untuk induksi pertumbuhan tinggi dan induksi akar kultur anggrek tebu, tanpa atau dengan zat pengatur tumbuh.

Abstract

Suri cucumber (Cucumis melo L. var reticulatus Naudin) is an annual plant. Probiotics is not a fertilizer in general, but materials containing effective microorganism that can help decompose the material present in the soil and can be used to inhibit the growth of plant pests and diseases in the soil, this study aims to determine: (1) the interaction between time and concentration on growth and yield on suri cucumber plants; (2) Time of giving probiotics that are appropriate for growth and yield on suri cucumber plants; and (3) Probiotic concentrations that are appropriate for growth and yield on suri cucumber plants. This research was conducted from April to July 2018 at the Kelurahan Loa Tebu, Kecamatan Tenggarong, Kabupaten Kutai Kartanegara. Factorial designs are arranged in Complete Randomized Design (CRD) with 6 replications. The first factor is the time administration of (W) probiotics at 7 am 12(w1) "> and 4 pm 12(w2)"> . The second factor is the concentration of (K) probiotics: : 0 ( 12k0"> ), 5 ( 12k1"> ),10 ( 12k2"> ) and( 12k3)"> 15 mL. 12L-1">  water. Variables observed in this study were plant height increase, number of leaves, fruit diameter, number and weight of fruit crops. The data were analyzed by analysis of variance (Anova), If the result of Anova showed significantly different, continued by Least Significant Difference(LSD) test at the 5% level to compare between two average treatments.. The results showed that (1) no interaction between the time administration and theconcentrationof probiotics on the growth and yield of cucumber plants on all of the observed variables, namely plant height increase, number of leaves, fruit diameter, number of fruit crops, weight of planting fruit; (2) the time of probiotic administration that has a significant effect on the variable plant height increase at 4 pm; and (3) the treatment of probiotic concentration has no significant effect on all observed variables.

Abstract

The experiment was carried out to obtain the variety of pak choy which shows the best respond on the urea fertilizer and, to determine urea dosage that caused the highest growth and yield of pak choy, also interaction between variety and urea fertilizer. The experiment was conducted in Sempaja, Samarinda from November to December, 2010. The Randomized Complete Block as Design, with factorial analysis 2 x 4 was used in the experiment. Each treatment was replicated three times. The first factor was pak choy varieties (V) consisting of two varieties, i.e.: v1 (Green) and v2 (White). The second factor was urea fertilizer dosage (U) consisting of four levels, i. e.: u0 (without urea); u1 (40 kg urea ha-1); u2 (80 kg urea ha-1) and u3 (120 kg urea ha-1). The statistical analysis showed that White variety gave the best result on the growth and yield than Green variety, with fresh weight was 22.24 Mg ha-1; The urea fertilizer 120 kg urea ha-1 dosage gave the best result on the growth and yield, with fresh weight is 23.36 Mg ha-1; while the interaction between two Factors (variety and Urea) was not significantly different on all variables observed. The orthogonal polynomial analysis showed that the relationship between urea fertilizer dosage (x) and fresh weight ha-1 (y) was linier, with equation of regression was ŷ = 13.675 + 0.082x, and correlation coefficient (r ) = 0.98.
