Abstract

Introduction: Nowadays, using smartphone not only used to call and send a short message but used as tools multifunction such as browser, chatting, game, social media, and others. The using unlimited smartphone that caused by irregular sleep. Students who experienced poor quality of sleep will be influences their learning motivation in the class. Objective: The objective of this study to evaluate the direct effect and indirect effect of using smartphones toward learning motivation through the quality of sleep. Method: This study is a cross-sectional descriptive and verification design, with samples taken with a total sampling technique of 150 students. The data collection using questionnaires of using smartphones, sleep quality and learning motivation—the data analysis using path analysis. Results: Statistical analyses found that there was a direct effect using smartphones toward the quality of sleep was (p=0.001); there was a negative-direct effect of quality of sleep toward learning motivation (p=0.014). However, there was no direct effect using smartphones toward learning motivation (p= 0.686). Discussion:  There was no direct effect of the use of smartphones toward learning motivation because there was an intervening variable of the quality of sleep; it means that there was an indirect effect using smartphones toward learning motivation through the quality of sleep.

Abstract

Intravenous fluid therapy in a child in the emergency room may lead to prolonged trauma and is a procedure that can cause anxiety, fear and uncomfortable pain. Handling of pain in children can be done with non-pharmacological techniques that are by giving a sweet taste of honey, wherein honey contains flavonoid content that can inhibit the pain. The purpose of this study was to know differences in pain scores after the installation of infusion between groups of children given honey and not given honey. The research design used in the form of quasi-experiment with nonequivalent control group type, post-only design, with the number of samples were 34 people who met the inclusion criteria. The sample was divided into two groups: the intervention group who received honey peroral (17 respondents) and the control group who did not get honey peroral (17 respondents), with age of respondent 1-6 years. Pain scores were evaluated with Children's Hospital of the Eastern Ontario Pain Scale (CHEOPS). A statistical test was using Mann-Whitney test with 95% (α=0,05 ) incidence rate. The result showed that there was a difference in child pain score in intervention group and control group with p-value=0.000. It can be concluded that there was an effect of giving honey to pain score, wherein the intervention group the pain score was lower than the control group, meaning that honey can reduce the pain response in children.

Abstract

ABSTRAKDi era pandemi Covid-19 seperti sekarang ini menjaga kesehatan sangatlah penting guna mencegah penularan penyakit tersebut. Selain melakukan protokol kehatan dengan baik dan benar, upaya yang sangat penting dalam mencegah penularan penyakit ini adalah dengan peningkatan imunitas tubuh agar tidak mudah terserang virus, sebagaimana diketahui virus Covid-19 menyerang kekebalan tubuh sehingga tubuh tidak mampu melawan virus ini. Tujuan dari pengabdian masyarakat ini yaitu masyarakat mengetahui bagaimana cara meningkatkan daya tahan tubuh di masa pandemi covid-19 sehingga terhindar dari penularan penyakit ini. Metode yang dilakukan berupa penyuluhan kesehatan tentang tips meningkatkan daya tahan tubu dimasa pandemic covid-19 dengan menggunakan media leaflet dan poster. Hasil penyuluhan menunjukkan masyarakat setempat memahami cara-cara meningkatkan daya tahan tubuh dimasa pandemi. Kesimpulan terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan masyarakat tentang cara menjaga dan meningkatkan daya tahan tubuh. Diharapkan dengan kegiatan ini masyarakat dapat menerapkan tips meningkatkan daya tahun tubuh dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Kata kunci : Edukasi, Daya tahan tubuh, Covid-19 ABSTRACTIn the current era of the Covid-19 pandemic, maintaining health is very important to prevent the transmission of the disease. In addition to carrying out health protocols properly and correctly, a very important effort in preventing the transmission of this disease is to increase the body's immunity so that it is not susceptible to viruses, as it is known that the Covid-19 virus attacks the body's immunity so that the body is unable to fight this virus. The purpose of this community service is that the community knows how to increase their immune system during the COVID-19 pandemic so as to avoid the transmission of this disease. The method used is in the form of health education on tips to increase body resistance during the covid-19 pandemic by using leaflets and posters. The results of the counseling show that the local community understands ways to increase their immune system during the pandemic. The conclusion is that there is an increase in public knowledge about how to maintain and increase body resistance. It is hoped that with this activity the community can apply tips to increase the body's power in their daily lives. Keywords: Education, immune system, Covid-19

Abstract

ABSTRACT Breast cancer (ca mammae) is a major health problem in the world and in Indonesia and is one of the malignant diseases and causes death in women. Basically, breast cancer can be detected early by carrying out routine examinations of the breast, namely by breast self examination (BES). This study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge and attitudes of reproductive aged woman about breast self-examination to breast self-examination practice.This type of research uses quantitative descriptive with a cross sectional approach. The research population is all women of childbearing age in rt 16 kelurahan 36 ilir, gandus subdistrict, Palembang and a sample of 65 respondents using purposive sampling technique. Data collection by using a questionnaire. Data analysis using chie-square. The results showed that the majority of respondents had sufficient knowledge, namely 39 (60%) respondents and a positive attitude, namely 34 (52.3%). The results of the statistical test showed that there was a relationship between knowledge (ρ value = 0.013) and attitude (ρ value = 0.020) towards reproductive aged woman action of breast self-exaination practice. It can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between breast self-examination knowledge and attitudes and breast self-examination practice. It is recommended to the public to increase knowledge about breast self-examination so that they are able to apply it regularly to detect breast abnormalities early. Keywords: Reproductive Aged Woman, Ca Mammae, Breast Self-exam ABSTRAK Kanker payudara (Ca Mammae) merupakan masalah kesehatan utama di dunia maupun Indonesia dan merupakan salah satu penyakit ganas dan menimbulkan kematian pada wanita. Kanker payudara pada dasarnya dapat dideteksi secara dini dengan melakukan pemeriksaan rutin pada payudara yaitu dengan cara periksa payudara sendiri (SADARI). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan dan sikap wanita usia subur tentang SADARI terhadap tindakan SADARI. Jenis penelitian menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan Cross Sectional. Populasi penelitian yaitu seluruh wanita usia subur di RT 16 Kelurahan 36 Ilir Kecamatan Gandus Palembang dan sampel sebanyak 65 responden dengan teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Analisa data menggunakan  chie-square. Hasil penelitian didapatkan mayoritas responden memiliki pengetahuan yang cukup yaitu 39 (60%) responden dan Sikap yang positif yaitu 34 (52,3%). Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan terdapat hubungan antara pengetahuan (ρ  value= 0,013) dan sikap (ρ  value= 0,020) terhadap tindakan WUS melakukan SADARI. Dapat disimpulkan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara pengetahuan dan sikap SADARI dengan tindakan SADARI. Disarankan kepada masyarakat untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang SADARI sehingga mampu mengaplikasikanya secara rutin guna mendeteksi secara dini kelainan pada payudara. Kata Kunci: Wanita Usia Subur, Kanker Payudara, SADA

Abstract

ABSTRACT  Online learning as a step to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus has turned out to be a burden in itself and requires adaptation and effort to run well. This learning method has been implemented in almost all universities in Indonesia, but in fact it is still not fully running well, so it can have an impact on learning motivation. This research was conducted to determine the effect of online learning on students' learning motivation. The research design used descriptive correlation with a cross sectional approach. The research sample with a total sampling of 113 respondents. Data was collected using an online-based questionnaire distributed via a google form link consisting of an online learning barrier questionnaire and a learning motivation questionnaire. The research data were analyzed using univariate and bivariate analysis using Spearman Rank (Rho) with 95% confidence level (α = 0.05). Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that most of the respondents experienced severe category barriers in online learning, namely 44 (39%) respondents, 62 (55%) respondents in the moderate category, and only 7 (6%) in the mild category. The level of student learning motivation in online learning mostly has strong motivation, namely as many as 62 respondents (54.96%), medium motivation 46 respondents (40.7%) and low motivation as many as 5 respondents (4.4%). The results of the Spearman Rank (Rho) test showed the effect of online learning on student learning motivation during the covid-19 pandemic (p = 0.000) with a value of r = -0.442 which indicates a fairly strong and opposite relationship. There is an influence of online learning constraints on student learning motivation during the covid-19 pandemic. This is due to the various problems experienced by both teachers and students in the online learning process. When the level of online learning obstacles is increasingly felt by students, it will further reduce the student's learning motivation. Keyword: Online Learning, Learning Motivation, Covid-19    ABSTRAK  Pembelajaran online sebagai langkah pencegahan penyebaran virus Covid-19 ternyata menjadi beban tersendiri dan membutuhkan adaptasi serta usaha agar dapat berjalan dengan baik. Metode pembelajaran ini telah dilaksanakan dihampir seluruh perguruan tinggi di Indoensia, namun ternyata masih belum sepenuhnya berjalan dengan baik, sehingga dapat berdampak pada motivasi belajar. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran online terhadap motivasi belajar mahasiswa. Desain penelitian menggunakan deskriptif korelasi dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel penelitian dengan total sampling yang berjumlah 113 responden. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan kuesioner berbasis online yang di sebarkan melalui link google form yang terdiri dari kuesioner hambatan pembelajaran online dan kuesioner motivasi belajar. Data hasil riset di analisis secara univariat dan bivariat dengan menggunakan analisis Spearman Rank (Rho) dengan derajat kepercayaan 95% (α = 0,05). Berdasarkan hasil analisis didapatkan sebagian besar responden mengalami hambatan kategori berat dalam pembelajaran online yaitu sebanyak 44 (39%) responden, kategori sedang sebanyak 62 (55%) responden, dan hanya 7 (6%) dalam kategori ringan. Tingkat motivasi belajar mahasiswa pada pembelajaran online sebagian besar meiliki motivasi kuat yaitu sebanyak 62 respoden (54,96%),  motivasi sedang 46 responden (40,7%) dan motivasi rendah sebanyak 5 responden (4,4%). Hasil uji Spearman Rank (Rho) didapatkan pengaruh pembelajaran online  terhadap motivasi belajar mahasiswa di masa pandemi covid-19 ( p=0,000) dengan nilai r = -0,442 yang menunjukkan hubungan cukup kuat dan berlawanan. Terdapat pengaruh kendala pembelajaran online terhadap motivasi belajar mahasiswa di masa pandemi covid-19. Hal ini disebabkan berbagai problematika yang dialami baik oleh para pengajar maupun pelajar dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran online. Ketika tingkat kendala pembelajran online semakin berat dirasakan oleh mahasiswa maka akan semakin menurunkan motivasi belajar mahasiswa tersebut. Kata Kunci: Pembelajaran Online, Motivasi Belajar, Covid-19

Abstract

 ABSTRACT Hypertension is a cardiovascular disease whose number continues to increase from year to year. Hypertension that occurs in the long term and is not treated will affect all organ systems of the body resulting in various complications that can lead to death. To prevent complications in hypertension, it is necessary to control hypertension, one of which is complementary therapy in the form of acupressure. This study aims to determine the difference in blood pressure in patients with hypertension before and after acupressure therapy. Quasy Experimental research design in the form of one group pretest and posttest design. The study was conducted at the Asy-Syaafi Holistic Center with a total sample of 20 hypertensive patients. Data analysis using Independent T-Test and Wilcoxon. The results showed that the average systolic blood pressure before acupressure therapy was 164.25 mmHg and the mean diastolic blood pressure was 100 mmHg. The average systolic blood pressure and blood pressure after acupressure therapy was 143.85 mmHg and the mean diastolic blood pressure was 90 mmHg. The results of statistical tests prove that there is a difference in systolic blood pressure (p value 0.000) and diastolic blood pressure (p value 0.025) before and after acupressure therapy. It was concluded that there was a difference in blood pressure before and after acupressure therapy was given. Keywords: Hypertension, Acupressure  ABSTRAK Hipertensi merupakan salah satu penyakit kardiovaskuler yang jumlahnya tahun demi tahun terus mengalami peningkatan. Hipertensi yang terjadi dalam jangka waktu lama dan tidak diobati akan mempengaruhi semua sistem organ tubuh sehingga terjadi berbagai komplikasi yang dapat menyebabkan kematian. Untuk mencegah terjadinya komplikasi pada hipertensi maka diperlukan upaya pengendalian hipertensi yang salah satunya dengan terapi komplemnter berupa akupresur. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan tekanan darah pada penderita hipertensi sebelum dan setelah dilakukan terapi akupresur. Desain penelitian dengan Quasy Eksperimen dengan bentuk rancangan one group pretest and posttest design. Penelitian dilakukan di Holistic Center Asy-Syaafi dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 20 pasien hipertensi. Analis data menggunakan Independent T-Test dan Wilcoxon. Hasil penelitian didapatkan rata-rata tekanan darah sistolik sebelum terapi akupresur  yaitu 164,25 mmHg dan pada tekanan darah diastolik didapatkan nilai tengah sebesar 100 mmHg.  Rata-rata tekandan darah sistolik setelah dilakukan terapi akupresur yaitu 143,85 mmHg dan nilai tengah tekanan darah diastolik sebesar 90 mmHg. Hasil uji statistik membuktikan terdapat perbedaan tekanan darah sistolik (p value 0.000 ) dan tekanan darah diastolik (p value 0.025) sebelum dan sesudah terapi akupresur.
