Abstract

The competition in the batik world has rapid development nowadays. It can be seen from how many batik products in every city or even country with various qualities. This study aims to improve the product quality of Batik BL Pekalongan in terms of facing competition. The dependent variable is the product quality and the independent variable is the interest rate quality perception and level of satisfaction. The samples are 35 resellers from Batik BL Pekalongan. The data used were obtained through questionnaires and interviews. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis. Based on the HOQ, QFD analysis was made to improve the quality. The findings of the research are: 1) the value of customer satisfaction is still minus, meaning that customers are not satisfied yet with the product of batik BL Pekalongan ; 2) the highest degree of difficulty encountered is reliable employees. The main priority is based on the results of the targets prioritization, which should be the concern of the technical descriptor, while product developing must prioritize its competitive advantages, batik products style and product performance. The main priority of the hows, the thing that need consideration the most in developing the product designs are more competitive prices and products consistency.

Abstract

Food and beverage business provider wide-spread in the city of Semarang. Judging from the quantity, micro businesses in the fields of food and beverage provider has more significant numbers when compared to businesses with large scale or the middle scale. However, development of micro-businesses  still has many obstacles such as lack of fund, low levels of human resources and lack of awareness to build good relationships towards suppliers, whereas the supplier holds important role in business success. Added with the large number of existing business competitors, it requiresdomination to compete of each business in order to survive in the existing competitive conditions. This research’s objectives are to test the influence of  information sharing, long term relationship and process integration against   the competitive advantage of food and beverage business in UNDIP Tembalang with supplier and buyer relationship performance as intervenning.Taking a sample of 100 respondents with simple random sampling technique selecting respondents who are micro business of food and beverage provider around UNDIP, Tembalang. The method of data analysis used is multiple regression analysis, where the analysis consists of: validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression test, t test, F test, determination test and Sobel test.The result of multiple regression shows that the variable of information sharing (0,546), long term relationship (0,304) and process integration (0,136) have positive and significant influence to intervenning variable that is supplier and buyer relationship performance. On the other hand, supplier and buyer relationship performance has positive and significant influence (0,770) with dependent variable that is competitive advantage.

Abstract

Survived more than 30 years in the Indonesian cosmetics market, but Sariayu Martha Tilaar's lipstick is now experiencing a shift in market position as evidenced by the decline in the Top Brand Index for three years in a row from 2016-2018. This study aims to analyze the effect of electronic word of mouth on brand image and perceived quality and its impact on purchase intention on Sariayu Martha Tilaar lipstick.Non-probability technique was used for sampling with purposive sampling. Data were collected from 148 respondents aged 19-35 who in Semarang and used internet as a source of information for cosmetic products. The analytical method used is the Structural Equation Model (SEM) using Maximum Likelihood technique, which is processed using AMOS version 24.0.The results showed that electronic word of mouth has positive and significant influence on brand image and perceived quality. Perceived quality has positive and significant influence on purchase intention while brand image does not influence purchase intention. Electronic word of mouth also has an indirect influence on purchase intention through perceived quality.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of perceived value on the satisfaction of digital music streaming services Joox and Spotify applications and their effects on consumer purchase intentions. The variables used in this study are perceived value as an independent variable, then satisfaction as an intervening variable, and purchase intention of paid applications as the dependent variable. The number of samples in this study amounted to 133 respondents, namely users of digital music streaming services, especially the Joox and Spotify applications.The method used is non-probability sampling by distributing questionnaires to respondents. In this study, a theoretical model was developed by proposing five hypotheses to be tested using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis tools operated through the AMOS 24 program. The results of this study indicate that perceived value increases user satisfaction, which affects the purchase intention of paid applications.

Abstract

Bakso Rusuk Solo is a restaurant that sells a variety of meatballs with its specialty on the meatballs with ribs. Bakso Rusuk Solo was founded by Sardomo in 2006. This restaurant has four outlets spread across East Jakarta and Bekasi. The food business is a business that is growing rapidly and the growth of its competitors is unbelievable. Besides, the restaurant business also has to think about the service quality, because if the costumers are disappointed it will bring a huge disadvantage to the restaurant. Bakso Rusuk Solo in the last six quarters has experienced a significant decrease in turnover and the increase in the turnover has not been able to cover the decline that occurred. The decrease in turnover can be caused by the quality of services that need to be improved. Service quality improvements are also beneficial for restaurants to be able to know about customer expectations and desires. This research aims to analyze the priority requirements of Bakso Rusuk Solo service quality which are grouped in five quality dimensions of DINESERV measurement (tangibles, assurance, reliability, responsiveness, and empathy). The number of samples in this research was chosen by purposive sampling technique and collected through questionnaire techniques. This research involved 96 respondents who are Bakso Rusuk Solo costumers. This research also involves the assessment of the owner of Bakso Rusuk Solo to strengthen the appraisal of its customers. The priority of customer’s requirements is analyzed using the Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) method and Quality Function Deployment (QFD). The results of this research are discovered that "restrooms that are thoroughly clean" is the customer’s requirement attribute that has the highest priority based on IPA and QFD analysis (with a raw weight normalized value of 5.34%). While the attribute "Smile, compliments, greeting" is the company’s technical characteristic that has the highest priority (with a value of relative weights of 12.76%).

Abstract

ABSTRACT PT. Pos Indonesia is a state-owned company (BUMN) that operates in the service of sending letters, packages and money. The emergence of various courier service options in Indonesia has caused intense competition between PT. Pos Indonesia with private courier companies, such as JNE, J&T Express, and Tiki. The market which was originally a monopoly market with PT. Pos Indonesia, as a major player, is currently being eroded by the very rapid development of private courier companies. Tight competition also occurs in the financial services sector, with the emergence of various companies creating digital wallet applications that make it easier for users to make financial transactions wherever and whenever they want such as GoPay, DANA, OVO, and others. This study aims to analyze how much influence the service quality, trust and customer satisfaction on customer loyalty to use the services of PT. Pos Indonesian. The sample used in this study was the people of Semarang City who have used the courier service of PT. Pos Indonesia in the last one year. The sample was 167 respondents. The sample collection method used purposive sampling. The data collection method was distributing questionnaires online via google form. This research used Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis with AMOS 24.0 analysis tools. The results of this study indicate that service quality and trust have a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction and customer loyalty. In addition, customer satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty.

Abstract

The study aims to find a model of improving a community’s role in the management in town area, particularly household rubbish. The early stage of the study was to analyze a management in town area, located at the Sub-District of Sambiroto, District of Tembalang, Semarang City. To analyze the stakeholders, it was necessary to study and discuss (focus group discussion) the management with them for finding an insight to develop the most appropriate model. The approach used to develop a Community-Based Integrated Rubbish Management was a community empowering through improving the stakeholders’ role. The tested model took a trial and error as well as two-year observation, at least, with the experiment at different locations. A community-based household rubbish management system with a 3 R principle by separating rubbish could reduce a 70 percent rubbish volume.

Abstract

The development of indonesia’s economy can not be separated from the roles of industries and UMKMs in various regions spread throughout Indonesia. Kendal Regency is one of the potential and developing regions of the industrial sector and UMKM supported by the tourism sector in the area. One of them is the culinary UMKM. However, as in other business fields, even in the culinary sector UMKM have various problems faced such as increasingly fierce competition, difficulty in obtaining access to capital, inadequate marketing, lack of superior resources, lack of access to suppliers, emergence of new competitors , do not have a plan to deal with unexpected things. These problems are included in supply chain management. The purpose of this study is to address the influence of long-term relationship, information sharing, agile, and process integration on the performance of the UMKM supply chain in the culinary field in Kendal Regency.The population in this study culinary UMKM entrepreneurs in Kendal Regency amounted to 925. This study used a sample of 100 respondents through questionnaires, where the data obtained will be analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS.The results of this study indicate that the indicators in this study are valid and reliable. The variable that has the greatest influence is agile with the value (0.482), then the process integration variable with the value (0.462), then the information sharing variable with the value (0.342), and the last is the long-term relationship variable with the value (0.218). This result shows that all independent variables in this study have a positive and significant influence on the dependent variable, namely the performance of the UMKM supply chain in the culinary field in Kendal Regency.

Abstract

Small and medium industry have important role in developing manufacture industries in West Sumatra especially in food sector. Food processing industry in Padang, is potential industry to be developed. Product competitiveness is still lacking in small and medium food processing industry in Padang. The product  distribution is still difficult, this matter need to be considered for the company through the increasing performance. The purpose of this research is to analyze the influence of supply chain management toward company performance. The population in this research is small and medium industry in Padang city that operating in food processing in Padang. The sample that used is 100 small and medium industry from the entire population of 736 small and medium industry, that taken by simple random sampling and the collected data is using questionnaire. Technique analysis used  is multiple linear regression that operated by SPSS programe. Variable information sharing, long term relationship, cooperation and process integration have positive and significant influence toward supply chain management performance on company. Process integration has the biggest significant value, and then information sharing then long term relationship and cooperation. All hypothesis was accepted because the  significant value is lower than 0,05. The result of coefficient determinant is 0,318, it shows that the ability of independent variable in explaining dependent variable is 31,8%.
