Abstract

Population growth needs to be matched increase in agricultural production, to avoid food crisis. Increased production pursued through intensification, with inorganic fertilizer. In the "Bali Ndeso Mbangun Desa" that: The use of inorganic fertilizers have an impact in declining soil fertility, availability is often not sufficient, so that should be substituted with organic fertilizer. "Go Organic", to "go-organic farming the land." Organic fertilizers can be made from agricultural waste or garbage. The availability of potential waste to be processed into organic fertilizer, continuity in tune with the population and economic activity. Obstruction: there is no waste sorting organic and non organic waste. The quality of organic fertilizer from garbage Traditional Markets meet the required standards of the Ministry of agriculture, organic fertilizer from household waste, material element of follow-up (gravels, glass, plastic) on top of provisions. Organic fertilizer from solid waste landfill (Final Disposal), many elements that have not been in accordance with the provisions of : C / N ratio of 29.47 above the value required (10-25); Materials follow-up of 2.77% above that required ( maximum 2%), Heavy Metal, Pb (58.17 ppm) and Cd (18.36 ppm), which should each below 50 ppm and below 10 ppm, Zn micro elements as much as much as 0.760% and 0.401% Fe still above provisions (a maximum of 0.500% and 0.400%). His role on the fertilizer requirement of 11.04 to 18.05% in Jepara, Klaten 29.51 to 30.70% and in Temanggung 34.03 to 38.76%.

Abstract

Peanut (Arachys hypogaea L.) is one of the highly nutritious foods. Every 100 grams contains calories 583 kcal, protein 23 grams, cholesterol 0%, 23 grams carbohydrate, 8 grams fiber, 22 grams phytosterol, beta - phytosterol 6.5 grams. The ain of the research: (1) Agrotecnology adaptation test of organic fertilizer to increase productivity. (2) To determine ideals dose of organic and anorganic fertilizer (3) To analyze aflatoxsin stimulation, The location of the research was Jepara Regency has good land characteristic for peanuts growt, The result of the research, are: (1) The use of organic fertilizer compottion with 1000 kg.ha¹ and anorganic fertilizer with nitrogen 50 kg.ha¹, phosphate 60 kg.ha-1 and 100 kg kalium.ha-1 ( pattern C) produces the characteristic chemical, physical and biology the best land. (2) Other treatment (pattern A, B, D and E) gives the results of chemical, physical and biology of the diverse land. (3) Treatment C give performances of the highest value, of: (a) Weight of dry seed in 1000 seeds weighing 307.53 grams (an increase of 34.86% of control), (b) Dry seed weight of 2.30 tonnes per ha. ( c) full of pods containing 78.89% (increase. 8.20%% of control), (d) production performance in terms of economic aspects of quality, namely the yield, the loop product, the highest yield in treatment D, 82, 03% or an increase of 40.95% of the control loop on the product yield as much as 58.20%. The product of pods, the highest yield in treatment E (organic fertilizer 2,000 kg / ha) of 81.94% or an increase of 41.18% of production pod control treatment as big as 58.04%. (3) Content of aflatoxin is influenced by the varieties of plants (genetic) and environment, especially soil and climate both on land and in the process of post-harvest. In treatment C, the lower aflatoxin content were both of seed after harvest (<1 ppb) and after storage for 1 month (30 days). Treatment C is economically provide the highest profits. The results can not be used farmers, because the test is done once the new adaptation. Stability of production and nutrients in each treatment is not optimal. So still need further study to achieve production stability and nutrients in the soil with the same experimental design at least 3 (three) times the investment. In addition, it is necessary also varieties that are resistant to postharvest infection of Aspergillus, sp appropriate to reduce the negative effect of aflatoxin.

Abstract

Rice is a major commodity in Indonesia. In the free trade era, the local rice should be able to compete with imported products. Consequently, the availability of rice not only in quantity but also consider the quality aspects. This study aims to analyze the quality of the rice and the handling compliance level in order to do the proper improvement measures. The results showed that 38 percent of the rice samples analyzed did not apropriate with SNI, 31 percent on the quality V, 15 percent in grade IV and 15 percent in the third quality. The highest handling level average was 78 percent in RMU and 67% in farmer, while the lowest of the rice supply chain was 39% in merchant.

Abstract

Agricultural development aims to achieve sustainable industrial agriculture, based on local resources, food self-sufficiency and well-being of farmers. Consumption of animal food is not just resting on red meat (beef ), so that the chicken is not race plays an important role, but the level of consumption is still low ( 7 kg / capita / year ) , and has not been a priority, traditionally maintained as a sideline. The aim of this study is to describe the development policies of poultry ( chicken free-range / hybrid ), the development and deployment of technological innovations Artificial Insemination ; cultivation of hybrid chickens and chicken hybrid models for sustaining economic self-sufficiency of families and meat. The results of this study is that the poultry development policy (domestic poultry/ hybrid ) has not been a priority. High domestic poultry population (13.83 % of national) ; development and deployment of technological innovation has spread chicken Artificial Insemination developed by farmers on a limited scale. The role of government is not optimal . Hatching effort with limited capacity, because breeders are limited , cooperation with farmer laying hens is not easy to do. Raising chickens has not been widely cultivated hybrids by the surrounding community. Hybrid model of chicken farming by empowering farmers, ranchers target domestic poultry in the village, with the village as a center scale "village chicken hybrids" ; main partners are manufacturers of hybrid nearest DOC chicken and chicken vendors, and poultry. Model-scale centers to be efficient, mutually reinforcing, profitable, sustainable and shorten the marketing chain . Institute of Livestock need to establish pilot programs to empower farmers in a village "village chicken hybrid" embryos as agribusiness cluster models (pilot unit independent business not a sideline), side by side with free-range chicken farming .
