Abstract

development is the most important aspect of community life in a country. The development of education is hampered by the way schools prioritize aspects of knowledge. Thus, boarding school-based education is needed as an educational institution that teaches knowledge, character, and skills. The existence of Islamic boarding school-based education as the oldest educational institution in Indonesia is still maintained by some people. For this reason, the importance of discussing the topic of the existence of Islamic boarding school-based education is to provide knowledge about how Islamic boarding schools show their existence in the development of community education. The purpose of this study was to determine the supporting factors of Islamic boarding schools in developing community education and the impact of the existence of Islamic boarding school-based education on the development of education for the community in Drenges Village. The method used in this research is the qualitative method. Research data obtained by interview, observation, and documentation. The results showed that the factors that support Islamic boarding schools in developing community education are the quality of teachers, the curriculum used, and learning activities. Meanwhile, the impact of the existence of boarding school-based education for the Drenges community is the increase in aspects of knowledge, skills, and the character of independence. The importance of the research results is to provide a view to modern society that Islamic boarding school-based institutions can encourage the development of community education.

Abstract

Pancasila Student Profile is a new policy of the Ministryof Education and Culture, which is a reference for educators in building the character and competence of students. The purpose of this study is to analyze the teacher's lesson plan related to integrating character values, to analyze the civics teacher's understanding of the Pancasila Student Profile, and to analyze the strengthening of the character of civics teachers in learning. This research method uses a qualitative approach. The subjects of the study were the head of the madrasa, civics teachers, and students. The method of data collection is the triangulation of sources and techniques. Data analysis through data reduction, data display, and data verification. The results showed that the teacher's rpp with the integration of character values showed that the preparation of the rpp was based on curriculum 13, the characteristics or conditions of the school, and the condition of the character of the students in the school; pemahaman guru about the Profile of Pelajar Pancasila has not understood and has not implemented in schools, has heard, received information from the supervisor, website , or independent literacy, and the character of the teacher in learning by the way students are taught through habituation, example, activities related to character values in order to have good character in the school, home, and community environment. Character values that are strengthened in learning include: honesty, independence, courtesy, responsibility, discipline, and religion

Abstract

Profil Pelajar Pancasila is currently the basis for the development of education in Indonesia. The purpose of this service is to increase teacher knowledge in the preparation of instruments and indicators of attitude assessment based on the Pancasila Student Profile. This service method consists of three stages, namely preparation, implementation and evaluation. This service activity was carried out at SMPN 1 Wonosalam, attended by 30 teachers. The results of the service showed that the activities were carried out in 2 sessions, where each session contained different material. Evaluation of activities through a questionnaire of 10 items, where the average of each item is 84.7%. Furthermore, the value dimension of the Pancasila Student Profile that is often applied in the classroom is the Faith dimension, and on the other hand the dimension that is rarely applied in the classroom is Global Diversity. Therefore, this service activity can be said to be effective and good in increasing the knowledge of SMPN 1 Wonosalam teachers regarding the Pancasila Student Profile. It is hoped that schools will continue to develop teacher knowledge about the Pancasila Student Profile in the form of ongoing assistance so that teachers can apply them optimally

Abstract

ABSTRACTWriting competence for teachers is one of the soft skills to support productivity and creativity. The teacher’s knowledge in  preparing scientific articles and  using Mendeley application in citing reference sources is still low. This community service aims to improve understanding and skills in writing scientific articles that are integrated with technology, namely the Mendeley application. This activity is provided for teachers at SMPN 1 Gresik in offline meeting  by implementing health protocols. The method of implementing the community service consists of preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The results of activities that refer to a questionnaire containing 10 aspects in the pretest and posttest show that each aspect has exceeded the predetermined target of at least 80%, where the lowest percentage is 81.08% and the highest is 94.59%. In addition, the results of satisfaction shown by the participants, in general, were 94.6%. In other words, the community service that has been carried out at SMPN 1 Gresik regarding training in the preparation of scientific articles and the use of the Mendeley application  is very effective and successful. Keywords: Training, Article, Mendeley, Teacher ABSTRAKKompetensi menulis bagi guru merupakan salah satu kemampuan softskill untuk menunjang produktivitas berkarya dan kreativitas. Minimnya pengetahuan guru dalam penyusunan artikel ilmiah serta pemanfaatan aplikasi Mendeley dalam sitasi sumber referensi. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan dalam penulisan artikel ilmiah yang terintegrasi dengan teknologi yaitu aplikasi Mendeley. Kegiatan pengabdian diberikan kepada guru di SMPN 1 Gresik secara luring dengan tetap menerapkan protokol kesehatan. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian terdiri dari persiapan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan yang mengacu pada angket yang berisi 10 aspek pada pretest maupun posttest menunjukkan bahwa setiap aspek telah melampuai target yang telah ditentukan yaitu minimal 80%, dimana prosentase terendah sebesar 81,08% dan tertinggi sebesar 94,59%. Di samping itu, hasil kepuasan yang ditunjukkan oleh peserta secara umum sebesar 94,6%. Dengan kata lain, kegiatan pengabdian yang telah dilakukan di SMPN 1 Gresik mengenai pelatihan penyusunan artikel ilmiah dan pemanfaatan aplikasi Mendeley sangat efektif dan berhasil.  Kata Kunci: Pelatihan, Artikel Ilmiah, Mendeley, guru

Abstract

ABSTRACTSekolah Penggerak is one of the Kemdikbud programs that focus on strengthening the values of the Pancasila Student Profile. However, not a few teachers and even students still find it difficult to understand and implement each dimension, element and sub-element. The purpose of this service is to assist teachers in internalizing the values of the Pancasila Student Profile through mobile apps-based animated educational ebooks. This service activity was given to teachers of the SMPN Satu Atap Jipurapah (SMPN 3 Plandaan). The method of implementing devotional activities consists of preparation, implementation and evaluation. The results of the service activities show that this service activity can be said to be successful and successful, because as many as 72.73% of teachers stated that the socialization activity of internalizing the values of the Pancasila Student Profile through an animated educational ebook based on mobile apps was very good. In  addition, more than 50% of teachers stated that they had understood the substance of the dimensions, elements and sub-elements of the Pancasila Student Profile values and 100% stated that animated educational ebooks could help internalize the Pancasila Student Profile values for students at SMPN Satu Atap Jipurapah (SMPN 3 Plandaan). It is hoped that this activity can provide motivation and assist teachers in implementing the Pancasila Student Profile values, especially sekolah penggerak. Keywords: internalize, Pancasila Student Profile, animated educational ebook  ABSTRAKSekolah Penggerak merupakan salah satu program Kemdikbud yang fokus pada penguatan nilai-nilai Profil Pelajar Pancasila. Namun, tidak sedikit guru bahkan peserta didik masih sulit untuk memahami serta mengimplementasi dari setiap dimensi, elemen dan sub elemen. Tujuan pengabdian ini untuk membantu guru dalam internalisasi nilai Profil Pelajar Pancasila melalui ebook edukasi animasi berbasis mobile apps. Kegiatan pengabdian ini diberikan kepada guru SMP Negeri Satu Atap Jipurapah (SMPN 3 Plandaan). Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdaian terdiri dari persiapan, pelasksanaan dan evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan pengabdian ini dapat dikatakan berhasil dan sukses, karena sebanyak 72,73% guru menyatakan kegiatan sosialisasi internalisasi nilai Profil Pelajar Pancasila melalui ebook edukasi animasi berbasis mobile apps sangat baik. Di samping itu, lebih dari 50% guru menyatakan telah memahami substansi dimensi, elemen dan sub elemen dari nilai Profil Pelajar Pancasila dan 100% menyatakan bahwa ebook edukasi animasi dapat membantu internalisasi nilai Profil Pelajar Pancasila bagi peserta didik di SMPN Satu Atap Jipurapah (SMPN 3 Plandaan). Abstract

Indonesia's education system is facing numerous challenges due to the rapid development of information and communication technology, resulting in students being perceived as less empathetic and less skilled in addressing social issues. The Pancasila Student Profile is a policy by the Ministry of Education and Culture within the Merdeka Curriculum to strengthen national character. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in Civics subjects, the attitude assessment models, and the supporting and inhibiting factors. The research employs a qualitative approach, with the subjects including the principal, curriculum vice-secretary, Civics teachers, and students. Data collection is conducted through source and technique triangulation, while data analysis involves data reduction, data display, and data verification. The findings reveal that the implementation of the Civics Curriculum has altered the concepts and meanings outlined in the teaching module; learning and assessment are now an integrated unit; the material's scope is more comprehensive according to the learning outcomes of four key elements (Pancasila, the 1945 Constitution, Unity in Diversity, and the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia) in phase D. The assessment model in the Merdeka Curriculum encompasses cognitive (formative, summative) and psychomotor (projects, practice, products) assessments as a unified whole. Attitude assessment is based on the Pancasila Student Profile (P5) strengthening program, with the selection of dimensions tailored to the objectives, subject matter, and the P5 theme set by the school. Daily assessments are the basis for the Pancasila Learner Profile-based attitude report card. Supporting factors include the synergy of the school community in implementing P5, while obstacles include some teachers' lack of understanding of the indicators in the six elements and sub-elements of the Pancasila Learner Profile, with assessments still being manual and done in Excel.
