Abstract

Sebagai institusi yang bergerak dalam bidang vokasi yang menekankan pendidikan pada penguasaan keahlian terapan tertentu, maka Politeknik Negeri Manado pada proses pembelajaran lebih banyak dalam bentuk praktikum. Agar proses pembelajaran terutama praktikum dapat berjalan dengan baik maka ketersediaan bahan praktek merupakan salah satu faktor penentunya. Laboratorium Mekanik & Instalasi Listrik merupakan salah satu laboratorium di bawah naungan jurusan Teknik Elektro. Matakuliah-matakuliah yang menggunakan fasilitas laboratorium ini diataranya adalah matakuliah praktek teknologi mekanik, praktek instalasi penerangan 1, praktek instalasi penerangan 2. Semua matakuliah ini membutuhkan bahan praktikum yang merupakan bahan habis pakai yang disediakan oleh gudang jurusan Teknik Elektro. Yang menjadi permasalahan adalah kadangkala proses penggunakan bahan praktek tersebut tidak dapat dimonitor dengan benar karena tidak terdata dengan baik berapa banyak bahan praktek yang sudah terpakai.Untuk itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat sebuah model sistem yang merupakan tahap perancangan dan analisis dalam pembuatan aplikasi yang dapat memonitoring penggunaan bahan praktek dari tiap-tiap matakuliah yang masuk di Laboratorium Mekanik & Instalasi Listrik.Metode pemodelan sistem yang digunakan adalah UML (unified modeling language) yang merupakan alat dalam pengembangan sebuah sistem yang berkelanjutan atau yang berorientasi objek. Dengan metode ini, maka sistem yang dibangun dapat lebih mudah dipahami alur pengembangan sistemnya karena divisualisasikan. Alat bantu yang digunakan dalam perancangan berorientasi objek berbasiskan UML diantaranya adalah Use Case Diagram, Diagram Activity, Sequence Diagram, Class Diagram dan Deployment Diagram.

Abstract

Waste management in Minahasa Utara Regency faces operational challenges including the lack of an integrated digital information system, manual record-keeping processes, and limited real-time monitoring capabilities for waste collection activities. This study presents the design and implementation of a web-based waste management information system for the Environmental Agency (Dinas Lingkungan Hidup) of Minahasa Utara Regency. The system was developed using the PHP Laravel framework with a MySQL relational database and deployed on a local server within the agency's network infrastructure. Key modules implemented include waste collection scheduling, route management, vehicle and personnel tracking, report generation, and a public-facing waste complaint submission portal. The system was evaluated through functional testing using the black-box method and usability testing using the System Usability Scale (SUS) questionnaire administered to 15 agency staff members. Functional testing results show a 100% pass rate across all 42 test cases. The SUS score of 81.3 out of 100 places the system in the "Excellent" usability category. The implementation demonstrates significant improvements in operational documentation efficiency, reducing daily report preparation time by an estimated 65% compared to the previous manual process. The system provides a scalable and maintainable digital platform for modernizing waste management operations in the regency.

Abstract

The speed of disaster information delivery is often hindered by lengthy technical data bureaucracy. At the BMKG Manado Geophysical Station, the dissemination process post-data acquisition from the SeisComP3 machine still heavily relies on the manual intervention of the Duty Officer. This condition triggers work queues, especially when officers must sort through hundreds of micro-earthquake anomalies before copying reports to digital communication groups. To solve this problem, this research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method to design a Zero-Touch Automation ecosystem. We integrated a REST API backend equipped with a Rule-Based System algorithm to independently select seismic parameters, then seamlessly connected it with a WebGIS frontend and Telegram Bot. Quantitative test results in the field indicate that this architecture successfully performs smart data routing; earthquakes meeting the alert threshold are immediately forwarded as early warnings autonomously with an average latency of less than 3 seconds. As a scientific and practical contribution, the implementation of this system, which is equipped with a dynamic analytic panel, is proven to cut crucial reporting times from minutes to seconds, and effectively minimize human error risks in the observation room.
