Abstract

 Abstracts. This study aims to determine the design, performance and feasibility of developing microcontroller learning media on microcontroller courses in the Electrical Engineering Vocational Education Study Program. This type of research uses research and development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model from Robert Maribe Branch. The results of this study are: microcontroller learning media design, equipped with guidelines in the form of a jobsheet. Media specifications with a size of 80x60 cm, input components in the form of various sensors namely temperature sensors, ultrasonic sensors, PIR sensors, LDR sensors, fire sensors, and rain sensors, output components such as LCD 16x2, 5Vdc relays, LEDs, 220V lamps, servo motors, seven common anode segments, seven segment cathodes and 16x64 dot matrix. The process component is the minimum system using Atmega 16 and is programmed in Arduino Uno software, the performance of microcontroller learning media development in this learning process is so that students are able to operate various input or output components in the learning media, assessing the development of learning media with theory (Mardapi , 2012) .. based on the assessment of instructional media experts obtained an assessment that is "Very Eligible" with a percentage of 82%, while from the material experts on the development of media learning obtained an assessment of "Very Eligible" with a percentage of 78% and an average user rating of 76 categories " Very Worthy ". The effectiveness of the microcontroller Trainer learning media gets a value of "Very Effective" from the calculation of n-gain 0.76.

Abstract

Dilakukannya penelitian ini meliputi latar belakang berdasarkan rendahnya hasil belajar siswa untuk mata pelajaran instalasi tenaga listrik kelas XII program keahlian Teknik Ketenagalistrikan di SMK PGRI 1 Kota Serang. Tujuan atas pelaksanaan penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui: (1) Bagaimana efektivitas model pembelajaran problem based learning dibandingkan model konvensional pada hasil belajar instalasi tenaga listrik siswa, (2) Bagaimana efektivitas model pembelajaran inquiry dibandingkan model konvensional pada hasil belajar instalasi tenaga listrik siswa, (3) Bagaimana perbedaan efektivitas model pembelajaran problem based learning, model pembelajaran inquiry dan model konvensional terhadap hasil belajar instalasi tenaga listrik siswa. Pada kegiatan penelitian ini digunakannya metode penelitian quasi eksperiment pada desain penelitian non equivalent control group design. Instrumen pengumpul data untuk digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah soal tes hasil belajar instalasi tenaga listrik (pretest dan posttest). Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini memakai uji Anova Satu Jalur. Uji beda rata-rata dihasilkan nilai sig.< 0,05 yakni menunjukkan bahwa adanya perbedaan rata-rata dari ketiga kelompok. Efektivitas model pembelajaran Inquiry lebih efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, diperlihatkan dengan nilai effect size sebesar 0,97 sedangan untuk model Problem Based Learning sebesar 0,33. Berdasarkan pada hasil tersebut bisa disimpulkan untuk model pembelajaran Inquiry lebih efektif dibandingkan model konvensional terhadap hasil belajar instalasi tenaga listrik siswa, model Problem Based Learning lebih efektif dibandingkan model konvensional terhadap hasil belajar instalasi tenaga listrik siswa, dan model Inquiry lebih efektif dibandingkan model Problem Based Learning terhadap hasil belajar instalasi tenaga listrik siswa.

Abstract

The focus of this research is to find out the process of making PLC learning media, measuring the feasibility level of PLC media, measuring the feasibility level of learning jobsheets, and measuring the effectiveness of learning media and jobsheets at SMKN 2 Serang City. The research method used in this study is Research and Development (RD) with the ADDIE model developed by Robert Branch and reduced according to the needs of the researcher, which includes: (1) Analyze, (2) Design, (3) Develop, (4) Implement, (5) Evaluate.Tahap got problems not already own analysis of instructional media for subjects PLC Installation Motor Listrik.Tahap Design is a step for designing learning mediaPLC and jobsheet learningPLC.TahapDevelopment is a stage further learning media making media created rated by experts media andexperts worksheet. The implementation phase was carried out in class XI TL 1 SMKN 2 Serang City starting with a pretest to determine the extent of students' knowledge about PLC and then applying the learning media that had been developed. The last stage of evaluation is done by post test to determine the effectiveness of the media that has been made. Based on the results of the study, the results obtained: (1) PLC learning media and PLC learning  worksheets were developed based on themethod Research and Development with the ADDIE development model, (2) The feasibility of the media based on the assessment of media experts got a score of 114 "very feasible", (3) The feasibility of the jobsheet based on theexpert's jobsheetassessment got a score of 78.3 "very decent", (4) The level of effectiveness of the use of the developed media reached 0.88 "very effective" as measured by N-gain. SMK students are required to be able to keep up with technological developments in the industry, for example, being able to operate PLC (Programmable Logic Control). In PLC learning, students are advised to have their respectiveworksheets PLC learning, because it makes it easier for students to study independently both at school and at home. Abstract

This study discusses the operation of the Shotblasting Machine (TOCHU) TG-7.5 FTJ using a 3-phase induction motor in the repainting process of 3 kg LPG gas cylinders at PT. Natural Gas Facilities Karya. The purpose of this study is to know and analyze the operation of the Shotblasting Machine (TOCHU) TG-7.5 FTJ using a 3-phase induction motor in the 3 kg LPG gas cylinder repaint process at PT. Natural Gas Facilities Karya. This research was conducted by direct observation technique, interview and literature study. The results of this study indicate that shotblasting is one of the easiest methods to remove rust and dirt such as oil, paint, and so on. The operating system of the Shotblasting Machine (Tochu) TG-7.5 FTJ requires standard guidelines and procedures to avoid obstacles and errors that may be fatal. The induction motor is able to move the components of the shotblasting machine which can facilitate the repaint process consisting of the process of moving 3 kg LPG gas cylinders on the roller, the blasting process, the process of transferring the steel shot blast material to the bucket elevator, the process of collecting iron sand on the screw conveyor, the process of absorbing the remaining paint dust. on dust collectors. Abstract

Employment issues are inseparable from employment opportunities and economic growth. High economic growth requires investment that can encourage progress and conducive economic policies so as to create new jobs and reduce unemployment. Training is expected to reduce unemployment and improve the lives of competent prospective workers for work or entrepreneurship. The purpose of this study was to reveal the learning strategies of prospective workforce participants in the Industrial Electrical Operator training at the Serang Center for Vocational and Productivity Training (BBPVP). In this study using qualitative methods with a case study approach. The results obtained show the learning strategies of prospective workforce participants, namely: 1) adapting to the instructor (paying attention to the instructor and adapting to applicable rules), 2) learning independently (taking initiative, learning through social media and making improvements), and 3) learning by sharing (discussing with other participants or asking the instructor).

Abstract

The purpose of R&D research is to produce learning media products in the form of PJBL-based IML modules and jobsheets, to determine the level of expert feasibility, practicality and effectiveness in PJBL-based learning to determine whether the products made are suitable for use in learning so as to facilitate students in the learning process. The research method used is the Hannafin & Peck development model which has 3 stages of needs analysis, design, development and implementation. The results showed that the level of feasibility of the module material and IML jobsheets based on the assessment of material experts averaged 0.78 in the "valid" category and 0.81 in the "very valid" category. The feasibility level of module media and job sheets based on all aspects of the assessment averaged 0.93 in the "very valid" category and 0.92 in the "very valid" category. the level of practicality of modules and job sheets by educators obtained an average of 91% in the "very practical" category and 90% in the "very practical" category. And the level of practicality of modules and job sheets by students obtained an average of 89.7% in the "very practical" category and 83.2% in the "very practical" category. the level of effectiveness of modules and jobsheets is 88%, it can be said that the use of modules and jobsheets is "effective/complete".

Abstract

A fire alarm system is an automatic early detection system for the danger of fire by looking at the stages of changes in surrounding environmental conditions before fire or smoke triggers a fire. The way a fire alarm works is as a fire detection system used in buildings, the fire system uses conventional fire detection sensors such as smoke sensors or heat sensors. These sensors are placed in various locations within the building, depending on the need and type of hazard to be detected. Research into how fire alarms work is carried out to improve public safety. Fire alarm systems are a key component in preventing fires and providing early warning to building occupants, which can save lives. This research was carried out to reduce reaction time to fire. The sooner a warning is given, the sooner preventative or evacuation action can be taken, so that the risk of injury or death can be minimized. This research method was carried out in two stages. The first stage is direct observation and interviews with officers and staff at the research site and the second is by searching for literature such as journals related to the problem being discussed. How a fire alarm system works is very important in maintaining security and safety in various types of buildings and environments. In carrying out this analysis, we can conclude that fire alarm systems are designed to detect fires as soon as possible. This allows for precautionary measures and rapid evacuation, reducing the risk of damage and loss of life.

Abstract

The power transformer is the main equipment in the electric power distribution system. The power transformer functions to distribute power by increasing the voltage from the generator into the transmission line. Therefore, maintenance and handling of disturbances in the 20 kV distribution transformer at PT Krakatau Tirta Industri which is held by PT Krakatau Industrial (Persero) uses the power quality method. The maintenance method and handling of disturbances in the 20 kv distribution transformer at PT Krakatau Tirta Industri which is held by PT Krakatau Industrial (Persero) uses the power quality method, which uses a mega ohm meter (megger meter) and to maintain power reliability and ETAP 12.6.0 application to measure voltage frequency, voltage stability, voltage harmonics and voltage drop. The results of the analysis in the maintenance of the 20 kv distribution transformer at PT Krakatau Tirta Industri with measurements that have been analyzed for insulation resistance with a Mega Ohm Meter (Megger tester) 500/1000 V, there is only one transformer whose coil is leaking, namely transformer number 7 which is in the table in 10 samples taken. When the transformer is damaged, PT Krakatau Tirta Industri immediately replaces it with a new transformer or replaces it with a car transformer (semi-permanent). Abstract

The adverse impact of fossil fuel use on the environment has prompted various parties to look for alternative solutions that are more environmentally friendly. One potential renewable energy source is solar energy. Solar panels, which function to convert solar energy into electrical energy, are the top choice because of their abundant abundance, clean nature, and ability to reduce dependence on fossil fuels. However, the performance of solar panels is affected by several factors, one of which is azimuth. The azimuth angle determines the orientation of the solar panel on the horizontal plane. The proper azimuth orientation helps to improve the overall efficiency of solar energy collection. A non-optimal azimuth angle can reduce the intensity of light received by the panel surface, thereby lowering the electrical voltage and the generated electric current. In off-grid systems, which rely entirely on solar energy to meet electricity needs, proper azimuth arrangement becomes crucial to ensure light absorption efficiency. From the results of the experiment, it was found that the influence of azimuth on light intensity, voltage and current was greater in the North position with a position of 0 degrees where a light intensity of 92000 lux, a voltage of 20.01 V, and a current of 2.0 A were obtained, so it can be concluded that the cardinal direction and angle can affect the intensity of light, electrical voltage and electric current obtained.

Abstract

The Motor Control Center (MCC) Panel is a collection of components that become the control center in the operation of a three-phase electric motor with a larger capacity used as a clean water distribution pump machine. In this study has several objectives, including namely 1). Knowing the process of the Drinking Water Supply System (SPAM) in Perumdam Tirta Madani Serang City, 2). Knowing the working system of the MCC-300 Panel as a controller for the distribution machine at Perumdam Tirta Madani, Serang City, 3). Knowing how to maintain the MCC-300 Panel and clean water distribution machines at Perumdam Tirta Madani, Serang City. The methods used are observation, interviews, documentation and literature study. Prumdam Tirta Madani Serang City has several components in the clean water supply system, including raw water components, raw water transmission components, production unit components, and distribution unit components. In the working system the MCC-300 Panel consists of two blocks and there are other components contained in the panel. Then maintenance is carried out on the MCC-300 Panel and Distribution Machine, namely planned maintenance starting from cleaning to carrying out tests on components and machines using an electric meter.
