Abstract

This study aims to know the tendency of science learning outcomes in 8th grade students of SMP Negeri 11 Yogyakarta students in the academic year of 2014/2015 with used the Inquiry Role Approach (IRA) method and demonstration method. Comparatively to determine differences in science learning outcomes in 8th grade students of SMP Negeri 11 Yogyakarta students in the academic year of 2014/2015 between Inquiry Role Approach (IRA) method and demonstration method. The results showed that the tendency of the science learning outcomes of students using method Inquiry Role Approach (IRA) is very high while the tendency of learning outcomes of students using demonstration method is high. The analysis showed that there differences science learning outcomes in 8th grade students of SMP Negeri 11 Yogyakarta students in the academic year of 2014/2015 between Inquiry Role Approach (IRA) method with demonstration method.

Abstract

The descriptive research aims to understand a tendency of study science outcomes in student of class VIII Banguntapan 2 Junior High School in 2015/2016. This research uses cooperative which is type of Snowball Throwing and expository model. The comparative research aims to understand a difference of study science outcomes in student of class VIII Banguntapan 2 Junior High School in 2015/2016 with uses cooperative of Snowball Throwing and Expository model. This method of research is a Quasy Experiment. The result of descriptive research is to show a tendency of science study outcomes in student of class VIII Banguntapan 2 Junior High School in 2015/2016 which uses Snowball Throwing is the highest category than Expository model. Then, the result of comparative research, there is difference of science study outcomes in student of class VIII Banguntapan 2 Junior High School which uses Snowball Throwing and Expository model. So that there is an influence in a cooperative which is type of Snowball Throwing toward a science study outcomes in student of VIII Banguntapan 2 Junior High School in 2015/2016.

Abstract

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi yang begitu pesat telah merambah keberbagai sector termasuk kesehatan. Meskipun dunia kesehatan merupakan bidang yang bersifat informatif intensif, akan tetapi adopsi teknologi informasi relatif tertinggal. Teknologi informasi dan komunikasi saat ini adalah bagian penting dalam manajemen informasi. Di dunia medis, dengan perkembangan pengetahuan yang begitu cepat, dokter akan cepat tertinggal jika tidak memanfaatkan berbagai hal untuk mengupdate perkembangan terbaru. Selain memiliki potensi dalam memilih data dan mengolah menjadi informasi, Teknologi Informasi mampu menyimpanya dengan jumlah kapasitas jauh lebih banyak dari cara-cara manual. Konvergensi dengan teknologi komunikasi juga memungkinkan data kesehatan di-share secara mudah dan cepat. Disamping itu, teknologi memiliki karakteristik perkembangan yang sangat cepat. Pelayanan rekam medis bukan pelayanan dalam bentuk pengobatan, tetapi merupakan bukti pelayanan, financial, aspek hukum dan ilmu pengetahuan. Peran rekam medis sangat dibutuhkan untuk mengelola bahan bukti pelayanan kesehaatan dengan aman, nyaman, efisien, efektif dan rahasia. Sehingga rekaman pelayanan kesehatan dapat berfungsi sebaik-baiknya untuk tindakan pelayanan yang diperlukan. Demikian pula halnya dengan instalasi, rekam medis di RSUD kabupaten karangasem yang merupakan instalasi yang bergerak dalam bidang penyampaian informasi atau mencatat keterangan mengenai hasil pengobatan pasien . Sebagai salah satu instalasi yang menjadi jembatan antara rumah sakit dan masyarakat khususnya yang memerlukan pelayanan rumah sakit mengenai data pasien . Maka instalasi rekam medis harus memiliki perkembangan khususnya mengenai teknologi informasi dan komunikasi

Abstract

Family communication is a fundamental relational process that shapes emotional well-being, social learning, and individual creativity within households. This study explores how family communication contributes to women’s creative empowerment in Yeh Cani Village, Abiansemal, Badung. Previous research has emphasized mothers’ roles in maintaining family harmony; however, little attention has been given to how broader communication patterns within traditional communities foster women’s creativity. This research employed a qualitative descriptive design guided by Family Communication Patterns Theory and Symbolic Interactionism. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis involving eight women (aged 25–55) engaged in creative and productive activities. Data were analyzed using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana (2014) interactive model. To ensure trustworthiness, member checking and triangulation of sources were conducted following Lincoln and Guba’s (1985) criteria for qualitative rigor. Findings reveal that open, dialogic communication fosters emotional support, collaboration, and creative initiative among women, whereas hierarchical, gendered communication limits self-expression. Women employ adaptive communication strategies, such as subtle persuasion and strategic timing grounded in Balinese values (rwa bhineda, tri hita karana) to maintain harmony while asserting creative agency. Nonverbal and emotional support (e.g. shared domestic labor and encouragement) emerge as a vital dimension of family interaction that reinforces empowerment. This study concludes that family communication in Balinese society operates as both a cultural system and a relational mechanism for empowerment. Open dialogue and empathetic interaction transform traditional family structures into spaces of creativity, equality, and resilience. By extending established communication theories into a Southeast Asian context, the findings contribute to theoretical understanding of family-based empowerment. Practically, they suggest that community-based gender programs should foster dialogic family communication (through empathy training, participatory dialogue, etc.) in alignment with Balinese local wisdom.

Abstract

Songs as a form of artistic expression have the power to convey deep emotional messages. One of the works that is full of meaning is "Promise" by EXO, which not only serves as entertainment but also as a medium of communication between artists and fans. This study aims to analyze the meaning of commitment in the lyrics of the song "Promise" using Charles Sanders Peirce's semiotic approach. The method used is qualitative descriptive, by interpreting the signs in the lyrics as representations, objects, and interpretants. The results of the analysis show that the lyrics of this song contain messages about loyalty, regret, and determination to stay together in any condition. Commitment is represented as a form of emotional responsibility and a strong desire to improve oneself and maintain relationships. In addition, this study relates the meaning of commitment in songs to interpersonal communication, emphasizing that music can be an effective and profound means of communication in conveying personal and collective messages. These findings show that popular music can serve as a medium for emotional reflection while strengthening the social bond between artists and listeners.

Abstract

Program Makan Bergizi Gratis (MBG) yang diluncurkan oleh pemerintsah baru menjadi kebijakan publik yang sangat sentral dan kontroversial, memicu perdebatan sengit mengenai alokasi anggaran triliunan rupiah dan efektivitas implementasi di lapangan. Dalam konteks ini, media massa memiliki peran krusial sebagai agen yang mengolah dan menyajikan isu tersebut, yang secara langsung memengaruhi cara publik memahami dan menyikapi program nasional ini. Meskipun teori framing telah mapan menjelaskan bagaimana media memilih dan menonjolkan aspek tertentu dari realitas, masih terdapat kesenjangan dalam literatur komparatif yang secara sistematis membedah bagaimana dua media besar Indonesia dengan orientasi editorial yang kontras (institusional vs. investigatif) mengkonstruksi realitas kebijakan high-profile kontemporer seperti MBG. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan membandingkan secara komparatif framing pemberitaan MBG pada Kompas.com dan Tempo.co, serta mengidentifikasi implikasi konstruksi realitas yang berbeda tersebut terhadap dinamika pembentukan opini publik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode Analisis Framing Model Robert N. Entman (1993). Instrumen utama yang digunakan adalah matriks analisis Entman yang terstruktur, meliputi empat elemen: Definisi Masalah, Diagnosis Penyebab, Penilaian Moral, dan Rekomendasi Penanganan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya polaritas framing yang tajam. Kompas.com menggunakan Bingkai Investasi Pembangunan, mendefinisikan masalah sebagai Krisis Gizi dan Stunting (Define Problem) dan menilai program ini Sangat Positif (Moral Judgment). Sebaliknya, Tempo.co menggunakan Bingkai Akuntabilitas Kritis, mendefinisikan masalah sebagai Risiko Anggaran dan Tata Kelola Keuangan Negara (Define Problem) dan menilai program ini Skeptis atau Gimmick Politik (Moral Judgment). Perbedaan signifikan terletak pada fokus isu (outcome gizi vs. input anggaran) dan evaluasi program (legitimasi vs. kritik).

Abstract

Pendidikan abad ke-21 ditandai oleh berkembangnya ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi (IPTEK) secara cepat, yang menuntut penguasaan kemampuan berpikir kritis pada peserta didik. Salah satu inovasi media pembelajaran digital yang mendukung hal ini adalah modul flipbook, yaitu media interaktif yang menyajikan teks, gambar, animasi, dan video secara menarik. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis peran modul flipbook dalam pembelajaran IPA untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur naratif dengan pendekatan kualitatif, melalui penelaahan berbagai jurnal dan sumber ilmiah yang relevan. Hasil kajian menunjukkan modul flipbook memudahkan peserta didik untuk memahami konsep sains dengan lebih optimal, meningkatkan motivasi belajar, dan mengasah kemampuan berpikir kritis. Dengan demikian, modul flipbook layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran inovatif yang efektif untuk mendukung pembelajaran IPA di era digital.
