Abstract

Abstract - High employee performance is important in achieving organizational goals, especially in the world of public services that can be focused again is at the Regional General Hospital (RSUD) General Ahmad Yani Metro whose employee performance of which most (76.8%) are civil servant (PNS) is in the spotlight, because based on the results of the 2017 annual report and news coverage related to service to patients, General Ahmad Yani Metro Hospital received complaints from patients and visitors. This research itself aims to determine the effect of leadership and emotional intelligence on the performance of PNS General Ahmad Yani Metro Public Hospital. Processing research data obtained from 215 civil servants (PNS) in General Ahmad Yani Metro Hospital with data analysis techniques using multiple linear regression methods and the research instrument is a questionnaire. The results support all proposed hypotheses: Leadership has a positive effect on the performance of civil servants in General Ahmad Yani Metro Hospital, Emotional Intelligence has a positive effect on the Performance of Civil Servants in General Ahmad Yani Metro Hospital, and Emotional Leadership and Intelligence together positively influences the performance of Civil Servants in General Ahmad Yani Metro Hospital Keywords: Leadership, Emotional Intelligence, Employee Performance Abstrak - Kinerja pegawai yang tinggi adalah hal yang penting dalam pencapaian tujuan organisasi, terutama dalam dunia layanan publik yang dapat difokuskan lagi adalah di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah (RSUD) Jenderal Ahmad Yani Metro yang kinerja pegawainya yang mana sebagian besar (76,8%) adalah pegawai negeri sipil (PNS) menjadi sorotan, karena berdasarkan hasil laporan tahunan 2017 dan pemberitaan media masa terkait dengan pelayanan pada pasien, RSUD Jenderal Ahmad Yani Metro mendapatkan komplain dari pasien dan pengunjungnya. Penelitian ini sendiri bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepemimpinan dan kecerdasan emosional terhadap kinerja PNS RSUD Jendral Ahmad Yani Metro. Pengolahan data penelitian diperoleh dari 215 pegawai negeri sipil (PNS) di RSUD Jenderal Ahmad Yani Metro dengan teknik analisis data menggunakan metode regresi linier berganda dan instrumen penelitiannya adalah dengan kuesioner. Hasil penelitian mendukung semua hipotesis yang diajukan yaitu Kepemimpinan berpengaruh positif pada Kinerja PNS di RSUD Jendral Ahmad Yani Metro, Kecerdasan Emosional berpengaruh positif pada Kinerja PNS di RSUD Jenderal Ahmad Yani Metro, serta Kepemimpinan dan Kecerdasan Emosional secara bersama-sama berpengaruh positif pada Kinerja PNS di RSUD Jenderal Ahmad Yani Metro. Abstract

The global tourism and hospitality industry continues to show rapid growth, making significant contributions to economic development, job creation, and education. Lampung Province is experiencing similar developments, marked by an increase in the number of tourits visits and significant growth in accommodation businesses. This competitive hospitality sector demands human resources (HR) with superior skills (work skills) and work motivation, which can be obtained through internship programs. Internship programs are designed to provide practical experience to students, so that they are better prepared to face the world of work. This study aims to analyze the influence of work motivation and work skills on career decisions, with internship programs as a moderating variable in the Lampung Province hospitality industry. The study focuses on hotel employees from formal and non-formal educational institutions, who have participated in internship programs in accordance with vocational education policies in Indonesia. With this approach, the study is expected to fill the gap from previous studies, as well as provide recommendations for educational institution managers and industry players to improve the work readiness of graduates in supporting the competitiveness of the hospitality sector. This research methodology uses a quantitative approach to test the relationship between variables. The object of this study was starred hotel workers in Lampung who participated in an internship program, with a population of 1,499 people. A sample of 266 respondents was selected using purposive sampling based on internship experience criteria, according to Roscoe's theory for multivariate research. The test results showed that Work Motivation and Work Skill had a positive and significant effect on Career Decision. Internship Program moderation also strengthened the relationship, where Work Motivation and Work Skill moderated by the Internship Program significantly influenced Career Decision. This confirms the importance of motivation, skills, and internship experience in supporting career decisions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Knowledge Creation on the competitiveness of MSMEs participating in the SigerHub Business Incubator in Bandar Lampung and to examine the mediating role of innovation. The research employs an associative quantitative approach, with primary data collected through questionnaires administered to 130 MSME owners/managers under SigerHub’s incubation. Validity was tested using factor loading (>0.7) and AVE (>0.5), while reliability was measured using Cronbach’s Alpha (>0.7). Data were analyzed using SmartPLS SEM (Structural Equation Modeling), and hypothesis testing was conducted through bootstrapping. The results show that Knowledge Creation has a positive and significant effect on MSME competitiveness, and Innovation positively and significantly mediates the relationship between Knowledge Creation and Competitiveness. These findings indicate that knowledge creation through socialization, externalization, combination, and internalization can accelerate product/process innovation, thereby enhancing MSME profitability and productivity. Practically, MSMEs are encouraged to strengthen knowledge creation processes through training, knowledge-based SOPs, and collaboration. SigerHub is advised to enhance innovation development programs, while the government is expected to expand technological and financial support.

Abstract

Pengukuran kinerja memegang peranan penting dalam menentukan efektivitas dan keberlanjutan organisasi koperasi. Koperasi memerlukan alat evaluasi yang komprehensif dan sistematis untuk memastikan bahwa kegiatan operasional berjalan selaras dengan tujuan organisasi serta kebutuhan anggota. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menilai dan mengevaluasi kinerja koperasi menggunakan pendekatan Balanced Scorecard (BSC). Penelitian ini berfokus pada tiga koperasi, yaitu Koperasi Wanita Anggrek Bulan, Koperasi Produsen Nelayan Kalaju (Pulau Pasaran), dan Koperasi Karya Sehat. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus untuk memperoleh pemahaman mendalam mengenai kinerja koperasi. Data dikumpulkan dari sumber primer melalui wawancara terstruktur dan observasi langsung, serta sumber sekunder yang meliputi laporan keuangan, dokumen resmi, dan publikasi pemerintah yang relevan. Evaluasi kinerja dilakukan berdasarkan empat perspektif Balanced Scorecard, yaitu keuangan, anggota (pelanggan), proses bisnis internal, serta pembelajaran dan pertumbuhan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kinerja keseluruhan ketiga koperasi berada pada kategori cukup. Meskipun aktivitas operasional dasar telah berjalan dengan baik, masih ditemukan kelemahan dalam efisiensi keuangan, kapasitas inovasi, dan pengembangan sumber daya manusia. Perbedaan kinerja antar koperasi mencerminkan variasi kemampuan manajerial dan fokus strategis. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya penerapan kerangka manajemen kinerja yang terintegrasi untuk meningkatkan daya saing dan menjamin keberlanjutan koperasi dalam jangka panjang.
